The stock will be prone to all manipulations for now. Those bids will only be coming from those that sold their Access bank shares at higher prices and just waiting to buy back. It will be interesting to find out when these guys sold and what they bought with the proceeds. Have they started buying back?

Access is been pushed up and it's even not so easy for the market marker. Offers kept over powering their strength, they had to pull a stunt at the last minute with 10m units bids at ₦7.15 but still could only close at ₦6.90. I will watch and see how much they are willing to spend. Very interesting. This reminds me of FCMB and their market marker

Boss, I believe that without these FPI coming back to participate, NSE will go down.

People think that rolling out of policies will bring them back but they have seen how many policies that have been rolled out the past 4 years, so they are not really interested.

I see them coming back when we hit a very low level or maybe floating of our currency (or any other changes relating to foreign exchange).

I became very afraid when market refused to react very positive to Zenith Bank 2018 FY result.

I could be wrong though on my assumptions but that's the position am willing to take for now.

Access Bank.

The shareholders of Access Bank have been seriously cheated.

I believe Access Bank is enticing former Diamond Bank shareholders so that they won't embark on massive offloading of shares once listed/converted. They might succeed at the end of the day.

All these euphoria on top this shakara wey this bull do today. Bull wey no fit move Zenith Bank result then, I wonder wetin go move market now.

Let's watch and see how tomorrow goes be.

We should all be aware of IGG shaaa......

Am talking about present situation, you are talking about the future. LOL.

Of course, should CBN float our currency today, they will all scrabble tomorrow to find their way in.

My concern is about NOW and how participants are playing the market.

Talking about policy, if government comes up with a policy that doesn't favour them, will they return back to the market?

I hope FCMB will not come with their traditional 10k dividend. That will spoil market the more.

This 2019 might turn out to be a year to remember......

Many heavy weights are waiting for release of result to sell off their remaining holdings. They need an attraction that will cushion their load.

They have wonderful result, their eps grow with more than 50%, from 2.11 to 3.31, with PE of 1.8, but their marriage with Diamond bank, will take away #1 from them as bride price on the head of their new bride ( Diamond bank).

Minus this their marriage arrangement, they would be on bid, till they see #12.
If UBA maintain the same performance like access, they will see up to 40/50% return in capital appreciation.

Keep marketing this your UBA. It is well with your soul. LOL.

thats why in my previous post I said when NSE was NSE that was d good old days zenith should have galloped to 60naira

There were no much online hype and speculations way back then. I believe things changed shortly before 2008 doom and short term investing became more profitable for someone like me. Online trading must have added it's own distortion to our market, it has became quite easier for people to take spontaneous erratic decision to buy or sell a commodity.

My opinion though.

Earnings hardly moves market, it's the "expectation" that does. That's how I have always viewed NSE.

Those guys knows how to collect their dividend on the floor by creating 'make belief' situation.

Who still waits for dividends? I don chop clean mouth on top Wema Bank, while some are still waiting for that "wonderful" FY result and the expected dividend. Na greed dey kill person for this market oooo (For a trader like me).

Every stock on NSE has it's own peculiar movement. I don't think that stocks like DangFlour moves based on dividends expectation (How much they wan pay on top N10 stock?), usually "RUMOUR" of something else. Buy the rumour, sell the facts.

If stocks really move based on dividends ONLY, Zenith wouldn't be where it is today.
