JB... ₦2.00 http://www.nse.com.ng/Financial_NewsDocs/25349_JULIUS_BERGER_NIG._PLC._CORPORATE_ACTIONS_MARCH_2019.pdf Sir Chibu don "hammar"! |
rebekah2011:Access is been pushed up and it's even not so easy for the market marker. Offers kept over powering their strength, they had to pull a stunt at the last minute with 10m units bids at ₦7.15 but still could only close at ₦6.90. I will watch and see how much they are willing to spend. Very interesting. This reminds me of FCMB and their market marker |
tritritri:Boss, I believe that without these FPI coming back to participate, NSE will go down. People think that rolling out of policies will bring them back but they have seen how many policies that have been rolled out the past 4 years, so they are not really interested. I see them coming back when we hit a very low level or maybe floating of our currency (or any other changes relating to foreign exchange). I became very afraid when market refused to react very positive to Zenith Bank 2018 FY result. I could be wrong though on my assumptions but that's the position am willing to take for now. |
Access Bank. That 10m units bid at N7.15.... It is well. |
tritritri:LOL. They have "bought" already at N7. You just dey find trouble. |
tritritri:LOL. One red day, all returns to day job. |
rebekah2011:I believe Access Bank is enticing former Diamond Bank shareholders so that they won't embark on massive offloading of shares once listed/converted. They might succeed at the end of the day. |
All these euphoria on top this shakara wey this bull do today. Bull wey no fit move Zenith Bank result then, I wonder wetin go move market now. Let's watch and see how tomorrow goes be. We should all be aware of IGG shaaa...... |
pluto09:When you and other big boys didn't appreciate Zenith Bank, I wonder what you guys want again. #RunsAway. |
Mcy56:The attraction (result result) that will cushion their load (offloading). I say make I follow you go class today. |
pluto09:Sorry Sir. http://www.nse.com.ng/Financial_NewsDocs/25302_U_B_A_PLC_FINANCIAL_STATEMENTS_MARCH_2019.pdf |
Mcy56:Am talking about present situation, you are talking about the future. LOL. Of course, should CBN float our currency today, they will all scrabble tomorrow to find their way in. My concern is about NOW and how participants are playing the market. Talking about policy, if government comes up with a policy that doesn't favour them, will they return back to the market? |
I hope FCMB will not come with their traditional 10k dividend. That will spoil market the more. This 2019 might turn out to be a year to remember...... |
lancee:Many heavy weights are waiting for release of result to sell off their remaining holdings. They need an attraction that will cushion their load. My take though. Could be wrong. |
lancee:IGG..... Happened immediately Zenith released theirs as well. |
FY EPS: 2.20. Almost a flat result. |
Agbalowomeri:Go consult your calabash and kindly provide confirmation. |
Agbalowomeri:Agba, Abeg consult your calabash again. How long and how bad will this "dullish" market be? |
locodemy:He may be referring to my post on ChiBuKing. ChibuKing said we shouldn't buy UBA when it traded below N7, that it will still fall much more lower to N4 and below. Only for Chibuking to buy at above N7.70 and has been preaching about same stock, telling us 50% upside. What has changed in UBA? If that's not monkey hunting, I guess I don't know the meaning of Monkey Hunting. |
Mcy56:Who has EPS ever helped? Special dividend and other news drives a stock. |
Chibuking81:Keep marketing this your UBA. It is well with your soul. LOL. |
maishai:But retail investors don't move market, the big money gang does.... |
I wonder how this market will be after the earnings season.... Might be as messy as a spit. |
swilo:This is NSE. Never Say Never! |
Mcy56:Hmm. I thought you knew then and was just joking. That has been going on since trading window was adjusted to 9.30am. |
yom2:There were no much online hype and speculations way back then. I believe things changed shortly before 2008 doom and short term investing became more profitable for someone like me. Online trading must have added it's own distortion to our market, it has became quite easier for people to take spontaneous erratic decision to buy or sell a commodity. My opinion though. |
tritritri:Hype as in Monkey Hunting? #RunsAway! |
PharmAlfred:Earnings hardly moves market, it's the "expectation" that does. That's how I have always viewed NSE. |
Mcy56:Who still waits for dividends? I don chop clean mouth on top Wema Bank, while some are still waiting for that "wonderful" FY result and the expected dividend. Na greed dey kill person for this market oooo (For a trader like me). |
tritritri:Every stock on NSE has it's own peculiar movement. I don't think that stocks like DangFlour moves based on dividends expectation (How much they wan pay on top N10 stock?), usually "RUMOUR" of something else. Buy the rumour, sell the facts. If stocks really move based on dividends ONLY, Zenith wouldn't be where it is today. |
Mcy56:We will know direction from 1.30pm upwards. This might be just mere IGG. |
