Story. Just go and draw the price list of 2014. Pre 2015 elections did not bring in those prices. Zenith for instance did not lose upto 2naira in that year. The real fall came after buhari took over. That was when we saw those real lows. That was also when we saw the naira really fall with crude prices. That was when investors really wanted to bail out because buhari in his "wisdom" did not see any reason to defend the naira.
Prices fell pre election but most stocks did not lose more than 15%. They did nit lose as much as 2015 when loans started going bad.
The reason for the present fall is not just elections. Its more of an investment decision by foreign investors which decision not just affects nigeria, but the entire emerging markets.
Gbam. Well said.

Mcy, you don see your course mate naww. Dey there ooo.

In my own opinion, I don't think the sell-off is any different from the previous years. The only distortion last year was devaluation that was done and market rallied when it usually doesn't.

When Lafarge S.A., France, takes 3.5% of net sales...... They always make money whether EPS is positive or negative!

the game of stocks investment is either u gain or make loss. For the smart investors, they gain about 98% of their investments, i offloaded @ 13.75 and since then i dont look back. Even if it like it can get to #50 that is non of my headache. so the game is for smart investors and after all, some have also offloaded to me in time past.
Does it sound like am regretting having made my "sell" when I did? Not at all. But as human, you need to remember that you are indirectly responsible for someone's heart ache. LOL.

this zenith 23 floor looks like something that can stand.mendes911 how you see am?
This might be your village people calling you for a quickie.

If you ask me, who will I ask? Maybe Agba, CP or Loco might know. We all thought 25.50 was going to stand, then it moved to 24.00 and now 23.00. My ish is that their Q2 result might come only by 1st or 2nd week of August. A lot can happen in 2-3 weeks (both positive and negative vibes).

NB: This is me speaking from the side of "fear".

Please Gurus in the house is this a good result. Is it a good buy @#1:17 ? and what's the fair price cc. Current Price. Pa Emma. PA Wanajo . Bbm. Fuxer. Peterichy.Rabibidoracle. Agba.Mendes. mpeace and at all. Thanks
My brother, nobody can give you a definite answer now. Even if it's a good buy at current price, the fear that one might get it cheaper is a concern. This stock had a bid of about 100m units today with a total corresponding offer of about 6m units yet the stock gained only 1k. That shows how people are trending with caution.

Playing the devil's advocate, it's possible that a seller put up those massive bids at 1.05 thereby creating an impression that the stock is good to go, enabling him to keep selling his shares at 1.17-1.18. This is me just thinking out loud. I could be wrong.

Check the version of the browser you are using to know if it's still supported by your windows version.
Also, try and change the browser you are using to log-in. Use google chrome if you have it on your system if otherwise, download it, it works quite fine for Morgan site.

Am sure of a single deal of about 19m units. Don't know about the rest. And all the units traded today can't all be cross deal.
