You can also pay for school accommodation for just one semesters then use that opportunity to get something better for family.

Doncaster is a cheap place to live so you should be able to get something pocket friendly

Please I need help on getting accommodation at Aberdeen. I am having a big headache in getting . I have searched for 1 bedroom flat on Openrent and others but they are not responding positively and my departure is Monday 27.

Please and Please I am in need of an accommodation at Aberdeen even if its a place I can stay for two weeks for quarantine, I dont mind.

Justwise and other wonderful gurus in the forum. Please I need your guidance on my dependant visa application.
I have applied for visa without my dependant and i have gotten a collection mail though waiting for DHL delivery before i can know their decision. I hope its approved.

My question now is:

Can I print out another 28 days statement of my account as POF for my dependant to apply or i must transfer the fund into her account and now count 28 days before she can apply?

Thank you very much. I think i will leave the address on TB certificate that way since it does not really matter.

I have contacted the school rep (Aberdeen) concerning the Visa application without deposit and she said I dont have problem since the school did not ask me to pay deposit to get CAS. So I'm thinking of applying first and when my visa is out, I will print another updated statement for my dependant to apply. I hope it fly that way.

For GCU, I will have to withdraw their admission and seek refund of my paid deposit that I'm sorry, no longer interested.

You can have the address corrected in IOM, although the address doesn’t matter. However, the pof is the most important. It’s better you pay it to the school, so they issue you another CAS. Although, I understand you don’t want to be in the same situation you’re in currently with GCU, in the probability that Aberdeen delays in sending a new CAS, but that’s your only option asides adding the money and starting your pof count afresh. Have you confirmed if it’ll be possible to get a refund from GCU?

Thank you very much. The money is still in my account and can still be maintained for the next one month from today, so i can always reprint another statement for the next one month. The POF is very okay if I want to apply alone but short of 1.6m if with my dependant. But my question is, Can I apply first for Visa with the POF using priority service and maybe a week after my visa is out i can print another updated statement as POF for her to apply as a dependant? Please I will appreciate your contribution.

Friday August 20th is the last day for you to apply for Visa based on your Statement.

You can not pay tuition unless you have someone in the UK who is willing to pay the deposit for you instantly. You can then attach the receipt of your payment to your application, since the school doesn't require deposit you don't need a new CAS.

This is the only way possible otherwise you will have to run that PoF again.

Hello everyone, please I need an advice from Justwise and other gurus in the forum. I have unconditional offer from GCU and University of Aberdeen, I have paid tuition deposit to GCU for over 3 weeks now and my POF has matured since 20th of july, since then 3 weeks ago, I have been mailing the GCU requesting for CAS but no response uptill now.
Just yesterday I sent the same POF statemen to university of Aberdeen and they confirmed it that yesterday and gladly issued me CAS statement this morning without tuition deposit or pre-CAS interview.
My question now is can I apply for visa with the TB result carrying glasgow adress? And my POF is 1.5m below the required amount for me and my dependant (wife). I have the 1.5m that I can pay to the school but I'm afraid as it may not reflect in the CAS statement before I apply for visa. Is there a way I can manage using the same POF and TB result for visa application. So that I will just request for refund of my deposit from GCU. Thank you

My own surname is Bakare and my middle name is Olanrewaju but my wife chose to adopt Olanrewaju as her surname instead of Bakare but on the marriage certificate her name is Bakare Fatimah Anike while her passport carry Olanrewaju Fatimah Anike.

What is your surname ? I mean is your surname and hers the same in your marriage certificate?

You need an Affidavit of one and same person declaring both married name and maiden name, then stating the name she wants to maintain that’s if the married name is not on any other official document aside the marriage certificate.

After our wedding my wife preferred adopting Olanrewaju as her new surname instead of Bakare. Our marriage certificate has her name as Bakare Fatimat Anike but on her passport is Olanrewaju Fatimat Anike. How do we prove to the embasy that we are truly couple as she wants apply as my dependant.
