Can a LG smart tv remote control work for a samsung smart tv remote?

If No, where can I buy a smart tv remote control because the smart tv I just bought is not sounding out and the remote I have with me, some of the buttons are not working including the volume button. So I want to be sure that I didn't buy a TV with volume issue but there is no way I can adjust the volume without remote.
