I had a similar experience tho I didn't pick up in my academics till my degree program when I started topping my department..

I did fairly well in primary school, but my secondary school grades weren't that good...

From your story and mine, I wouldn't be wrong to say that child molestation not only affects one's sexual urge, it also affects one's academics

It affects. Our people use to say that if a child didn't come of age before tying wrapper, if breeze blows, it will carry him and the wrapper away. There is time for everything, I strongly believe. Though it might not be the case for every abused child but it's not ruled out from any disorder in social and academic life.

It didn't affect me like yours though it left a scar on my life that I can't forget that a lady about 6 or 7 years older than me took my innocence, I was followed up with mom strict rules to religious life and I was also faced with no option than to follow my older siblings footsteps, who were/are morally strict but it didn't stop me entirely from d fantasies of the feeling I was introduced to.
When I was growing up, I was inducted in a belief that any immoral and sinful life will attract failure in academic and in future . I was the least in my class at some point , I was booed at home by my friends then and my siblings who were taking the best position, I had to cry to God, I cried every night and morning as little as 8, 9 years begging God to forgive my act with the maid and to make me intelligent. I was depressed and God answered my prayer , I was changed from the public school to a private school in 1993, I took a better position after a term and I later took the 1st position; my experience with my friends and siblings laughing at me for taking the last position killed any urge to continue with the life I was introduced to. Long story. God have mercy.

Was in primary two then. I should be 6 or 7 years then.

I was molested too by a maid/sister of our neighbor. Till today, it's still like it happened today. That was around 1990,1991 1992. The feelings was something I couldn't understand them. She called me in her room and sent nephews and niece away to play. She asked me to climb on her, I did without knowing what was going on. My little man was just touching d tin without much impact.

I have seen case like this sorted out by the different villages involved. If you are igbo, u should understand well. Village send delegates to the police and sort it out or even finance the investigation if the suspect that the want to intimidate their kin cos of wealth n connection.

I think he mentioned the parish and the police went to the churches where he said he went for confessions and collaborated his story but warned him to stay clear cos he was on a death list. You are kinda right but we don't know the kinda biz her husband is in, who knows he might be using the clearing agent to get his hubby goods out of d wharf . Some women will be cheating on their partner with people that are helping him in business. Very possible. The husband is not off the hook anyway but but this woman case isn't an easy go case. She was involved in so many things to create a lead. You know how drug biz goes? Any biz gone bad is a possible death.

Very funny. We are passing through the same thing. After scanning my car, I got codes of sensors including but not limited to speed, atf sensor , bank 1 & 2. I took this car to mechanics in Aba, my brother come see reasons ooo. They told me that sensors mean nothing. It's a fancy tin that d manufacturer put in there. No mechanic could do my instructions. Even d ones at Alaoji . From my understanding of auto tranny, faulty speed sensor could be causing the car not to accelerate better.
My advice is to Google the pictures of the location of the sensor and show it to them to change it for you. Don't listen to their preaching ooo.
