Account doubled in just 3 trading days. Possibly the risk management was bad? Or did I just get lucky to hit one good trade that gave me the profit?

Now; by 2012 - with consistent rigorous studies and researches done online and offline towards achieving Success in Sport Trading and FOREX Trading; I began to dig deep into finding out and developing the Right Strategies.

Once I see anyone that goes mathematical about these speculative ventures, my interest is piqued.

The only challenge is that too many people speak plenty grammar and have little or nothing to show for it.

I have since settled down with picking ONLY draws.

Think about it ......

The probability of a win, draw or loss is simply 1/3 (without bias).

Only draws give us up to 3 odds (except you want to start betting on the underdog).

Now in the calculation for VALUE as regards football betting, (1/3) * (3.XX) will ALWAYS return value.

What about the risk:reward ? Your reward is at least 3 times your risk.

This means that you will stay positive and in profit, in so far as you can maintain a win rate above 33%.

Life's challenges can be solved using simple, yet efficient, math - works.

For today, I have two draws shortlisted. One has already played and ended drawn as expected. The othe game would begin at 9 pm.

I learnt that the hard way long ago. Now I'm trying to resolve the open buy/sell orders. With as minimal loss as possible. Still yet to master the skill of determining accurate support and resistance points.

I think that's what you are recommending in your 2nd paragraph. My account is quite messed up currently.

Place a counter trade with equal lot size.

If you were selling $1/pip and it is running at a loss, simply BUY $1/pip on the same pair. This way, any further loss is stopped (until you close either the buy or the sell side).

I strongly suggest that you learn how to draw ACCURATE support/resistance levels as an addendum so that you will be able to resolve the trade at precise price points (usually for NO loss).

Price was on a downtrend, then went ranging. Now the range top has broken, the measured move is aiming at the previous resistance.

As far as price doesn’t close below 56.600 I’m long on oil.

His pick of the 4am time is quite accurate as we saw the first bearish H1 candle in the hour that ended at 4am.

This is a market structure high and usually signals the beginning of a sell off.

Not sure what VAP is, but keenly observing for next moves

VAP is Volume Adjusted Price (my little fancy maths work). Quite similar to VWAP but much more robust in its use than VWAP.

After it exceeds 3 standard deviations above/below VAP , a mean reversion back to the VAP usually occurs.

My VAP values are dynamic (as they are updated at the end of every hour).
