Seems ETH has a rooster clipped somewhere in his office. He just checks who will play next and work on it. Nothing concern him with other things.

Can we please WIN today and still be able to sack ETH. This season is still salvageable under the right manager. The question, however, is 'who'. I do not want Ruud to be made the interim manager, he's not ready and that would mean giving up on the season as far as I'm concerned.

Absolutely. I just wanna believe that they plan to sack him during the next international break. The guy isn't a good manager. We had issues with scoring goals last season and the only person we bought is someone whose main skillset isn't scoring.... I don't understand really. I supported this guy so much.... now I despise him and his excuses

Thanks to Eledumare and my ancestors for keeping me busy from watching the match. I don't know who is more useless between ETH and those that extended his contract. It was injury crises last year, young inexperienced players this year....6 matches into the season, he already has an excuse.

Our gambler-coach will never change. We hope it works. I think he wants another playmaking outlet aside Bruno. I think he's starting to understand that Bruno can not be the only one tasked with that task from the midfield.

The bench looks strong though.

I have been noticing gambling tendencies in him for a while but some of his decisions have come up as poor gambles to me. As much as I understand that some calculated gambles are necessary to be a great manager, ETH's are always extreme and unnecessary as Afrodoc and you have alluded to.

No bro. Play him as a supporting striker behind a main striker. Obviously that will need a change of set up, but I think there was a reason he did so well when he first arrived. I must admit he's my favorite player in the current team, so that might cloud my judgment a little.

I disagree. The best way to get the best from Bruno is to play him further in attack and make another player do the dirty work Bruno is currently doing. I might be wrong but play Bruno ad a 9.5,bring in a playmaker who could dictate the tempo of the game. That way Bruno would score and assist lots

I would wait to see how Bruno will perform in a better system. This system is horrible and I can assure you that there's an excuse already- Mount isn't playing.

I have noticed that when we try buy a particular player and we are not able to get him, we go for a completely different kind if player. That really should tell the club something about ETH...Rigid, one-dimensional, with limited knowledge.

I would sack ETH right after this match to send a string message. They made a huge mistake not sacking him. They allowed the excuses and performance to cloud their judgment. Says a lot about them as well.

I expect them to say- okay guys, we made a mistake. We admit it and we are ready to correct it right away.

Not everything is the coach's fault. This is not PlayStation. Casemiro is loose with his passes and is loose with his touches. He often dawdles on the ball and has little to no awareness of opponents coming to close him down from behind him.

The system can be shyte but some players can be shyte as well.

There's still a big hole in that midfield like last season, and for an old man like Case, it might be a problem. Even Mainoo is struggling

I understand, but I think this system is exposing players rather than complimenting them. Sometimes it might seem like ETH doesn't know how he wants to build his team or what he needs to build the team.

Could be our playing style sha. Almost everyone becomes useless under ETH. I don’t know how we’ll create chances with Zirkzee and Rashford upfront. No creativity at all. Ahmad is really needed in this game.

100% true. We most times buy players who are used to a certain system to play a different style, hoping for a similar outcome. An example of that was Sancho. Based on what I have seen so far, I would think Zirkzee would be better in away matches where we need to play false. However, he doesn't seem to be a workaholic who could cover areas like ETH would have wanted.

I still believe we are winning this game. However, I have my reservations about our attack line.

He's also still getting used to the players. He looks like a player that need a proper 9 in front of him

I was surprised how well we played against Brighton to be honest cos we normally look like a league one side against them. But with impotent attackers scoring becomes rocket science

Our first half performance was good, bar those two wingers. I can't really blame Amad, he did what he could based on his capabilities. Based on how ETH wants to play, I think the wingers must be fast, dynamic, explosive and intelligent. I don't think our wingers have those qualities in them.

Also, I see the reason why he doesn't like taking out Bruno cos he's the livewire of that team. When he's poor, it affects the team... and yet we haven't found a younger player that can play that role well enough. I'm not a coach though but it doesn't seem to me that he knows his priorities. Or we have too many dunce in that team... yet, it does seem like we are replacing average players with more average players.

The main reason I said we cannot challenge for the league earlier this week is I look at our attackers and none of them is top class. The best we have are prospects that we hope can come good(Hojlund Amad Garnacho)
Yet we keep deceiving ourselves here everyday

Our attackers are half lethal and we win both Fulham and Brighton today comfortably

100% my thoughts and you couldn't have said it better. It's exactly why players like Rashford and Martial were given crazy contracts.... few good games, they are 'rewarded'. It just seems like the club as a whole is suffering from low self-esteem... I know it's a crazy thought but I think it's true. We should do better.

Our attack is light-weight for me. One of the problems we have in this club is that we get carried away by occasional individual brilliance and then view average players as world-class.

We might not concede a lot this season but we may not score enough. Many winnable games like this may turn to a draw or loss

Even if we sign Mbappe and Vini we aren't making top six..

It's difficult to argue. ETH keeps making same mistakes and expecting different outcomes. He learns so slow as well.

There's only ONE person that makes things happen in that team and serves as the connector- Bruno. You took him out and brought in someone whose role is not defined apart from making late runs into the opposition's box.

ETH MUST GO. He doesn't learn at all.

Whoever says Ugarte is all we need to perform well this definitely not seeing right. I'm definitely not satisfied with those wingers we have... and we don't have a striker as well. Amad is a squad player at best.... Let's not talk about Rashford at all, yet he starts.

And the coach...hmmm

ETH's sold this match with that substitution. How he views the game is questionable sometimes. Bruno should have stayed... the midfield collapsed right after the substitution. The person he brought in can never do the job
