If my memory serves me right, I think power is always relatively better in Nigeria during wet season?

I did not absolve ETH from the failures, Nitrogen. I understand we are all disappointed, frustrated and angry but please calm down my brother. I am probably one of the first to say that his talent identification is so questionable and I even read from some of Ajax fans to that effect. His DOF in Ajax ensured that they got players that were good enough for them while considering their financial capacity. The fact that he went back to signing players he had worked with says a lot about his ability to recruit the right talent. More than anything, for me, it shows that he's limited, unable to think out of the box and very traditional or one dimensional in his mindset.

However, I think the board could do better by having a better DOF to work with him. There was a rumour or joke that on this thread that you are one of the stakeholders and board members of the club, so you might have understanding on what's going on behind the curtain, but I think we need a better and footballing DOF first.

We need someone who isn't learning on the job. We need someone who has the experience and pedigree of previously working in that role for a functional club. For me, there's a difference between a DOF that will support the manager to get the kind of players the DOF wants and one that will make the manager see why we need better players than the ones the manager is requesting for considering the ambitions and the future of the club.

With regards to the fans, we were all fooled by many of his acquisitions. I remember how we were all raving for the purchase of Antony, Onana, and some other players. Mount was probably the only player people were against his purchase.

He makes the basics look like further maths, when the ball is bouncing, you adjust your step to get a better aim at the ball not turn to superman, his reflexes don't even look natural, and he keeps giving meme poses every game.

The other guy Bayindir is a better shot stopper but the pressure of handling the Manchester united goalpost every week is also something. I hope Bayindir is giving a trial tho in the coming weeks, let's see what he's got

I think I read somewhere, before we signed him, that he is prone to making costly mistakes as well.

The players are terribly bad; probably one of the worst set of players I have ever seen in a United shirt. I do not think Onana will come good. I highly doubt it. He was made to look good because he played in a team with better defense. He's definitely not good with his hands. His decision-making in terms of coming out for crosses and corners are very questionable to say the least. I decided to watch him closely during this match and I can say that he's definitely not gonna make it here. Before the equalizer, he made a mistake that almost cost us as well.

He's also not a goalkeeper that will save us points. Rather he's probably going to cost us. His long ball distributions are also not that great like we thought.

Very unpopular take from me- I have said it a few times that his ETH's talent identification is questionable, however, we can't just put all these blame on ETH. He was failed by the board as well. We, as the fans, also contributes to these failures. For example, 90% of us, including myself, were clamouring for the purchase of Onana based on only one game (the finals against City).

Tactically poor. We are also being bullied, I would say. They have strong and very fit looking players. Same can't really be said about us. Hannibal has been doing well

Would I be wrong if I were to say to you that you should give him some more time. It's never easy when you lose that many number of first team players to injury. I think Liverpool had same issues last season

I also still don't see anything to think that ETH said anything. There has been that hole in that midfield from the first half and he seems not to have done anything about it. His main focus seems to be on Mitoma.

Absolutely. Even on the wings, he's very very inconsistent and selfish. I can't wait for Holjund to come in to see if Rashford will change his attitude. The only player I know he always look out for is his useless friend (Martial), who he passes to. He plays like he has told himself that he's the most important player in the team.
