Wow its been 18yrs I remember that year she won, I was ecstatic and shocked. I grew up with 3 sisters and they loved watching the Miss World pageant. Year after year it was the Indians or Brazilians that dominated the contest. The day Agbani Darego won, it felt as though Nigeria had won the World Cup. The girl was so classy and carried herself with grace even till today. She's on a different echelon from the likes of Tasha and co. Happy birthday!

I watched the show from beginning to end. The host that guy was so entertaining. I remember screaming for joy. The whole household was so happy. It was a truly wonderful moment.

Hello. In Germany already. Went to my school today WWU münster and looked lost haha.

I want to ask those that landed in Germany how did you go about locating your courses, you know what to do next. Once you land in school.
I really need some guidance even though I go to school tomorrow.?

By the way Germany waka is well worth it. See there is nothing like organisation and planning and this ppl have it here in abundance.

Munich is very very beautiful. Münster is a wonderful city and very beautiful too.
Transportation system. I dey use semester ticket dey cruise North Rhine Westphalia
No mind me o. I simply use it to move around where I need to be.

Went to a bar with my friend he knows the girl In the bar.
Took the usual German cup of beer. You know that standard German glass.
Along the line we helped her to arrange some paper folding wey dem wan use next week for the bar unto say Christmas dey come.spent time there helping her and chatting.
When time reach to pay she no gree make we pay o. She was so grateful for helping her out cos she was kind of alone with her dad and the work many sha.
What Am I saying. I have met so many of them nice people. Just respect your self and dey your lane and with time you will warm to them as they warm to you.

As a black person, it's hard to find an apartment in big cities. Landlords tend to prefer Germans instead of foreigners if they are reviewing the profile of people who applied for their apartment. Also, as a student landlords are reluctant to rent out their apartments to students(from my experience).

If you are a student, it's relatively easier to look for student shared apartments.

Fellow students are more open minded in letting you share the apartment with them. The only down side is that, living in a shared apartment can be draining especially if your flatmates are dirty!.
