Olarewajub: Happy Weekend
My treasury bill got matured earlier this month and since then, First Bank has refused to give back my investment. I've already contacted Firstcontact and their response is that they are investigating on the issue. But now everything seems to be like fraud. To the experienced folks here, what legal actions can i take to recover my money?
Unfortunately for me, I'm far away from the bank the TB was done. Nevertheless, I'll be storming any of their branch on Monday
In addendum, i got a call from a Lady this week claiming to be from First Bank. She only asked whether i took any loan and my response was negative. . this is strange ooo |

Could not capture screen of my aliexpress account due to the fact that I configured the website to open in a protected mode that negates all right-clicking, copy and paste, and windows desktop and programmes access (trying to protect my little money in the bank from you know who...). this luck of luck |

lanre316: The NIPOST would have charged you double for your parcel collection if they had seen 10$ on your parcel. If you feel generous and want to dash your money to NIPOST officials, tell your AliExpress seller to write the true amount of purchase on your package next time you order on AliExpress nice info |

PromaxVentures: Hello house,
I opted in for a 13% bid rate with my account officer at GTBank, prior to the April 4th auction with N3m invested capital FOR 364days. The alert reaching me today, April 5 is that my account has a debited amount of N2,626,027.40, which implies that CBN credited my account with N373,972.60, meanwhile the successful bid rate on CBN website is 13.0422%. Here is where I need the help of the financial gurus in the house:
What is the actual rate on my N3m investment? Based on the aforementioned info, how is supposed to be credited to my account, and what will be my True yield upon maturity? If applied rate is below 13%(My Rate) or 13.044%(CBN rate), are the banks legally allowed to bid below customer's indicated rate?
Thanks guys... boss, i dont see any wrong thing there. 13.044% is 13%. You could have use secondary market to get below 364 days @13%. |

Mascotlawman: to get above 300 days in NTB is difficult oo. I have waited for so long since all these days, I only got 12.5 for 357 days this morning. I feel I have no choice but to take it. it's actually secondary market, first bank. hope I made a good decision? hmmm 12 5% for 357 days is poor! you could have check back on monday. Info: somethimg yu might be lucky ro get sumptous rate n tenor via fbn secondary market. but enjoy ur 12.5%! cheers |
Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Mfunkynation(m): 2:25pm On Mar 28, 2018 |
Grupo: Abeg, no vex. Why? am not angry! secondary market rate is better than primary market for now. for instance, yu can get 100 days tenor for 12% which is not possible in primary market. Tenor days are fixed in primary (91, 182 & 364 days) while secondaty dont have tenor fixation |

Grupo: I started following this thread recently. I have been hearing some words being thrown about. Are you kind enough o help me explain what primary and secondary market mean? Also, face value and all the other values. Thanks primary market is the market organise n handle by cbn but ur bank will act like a middle man to help u get ur tbills. secondary market is not handle by cbn, but banks help a client gey tbills at rate not available on primary market |
