In line with CBN circular CBN/GEN/DMB/02/006 which bothers on STAMP DUTIES DEDUCTION AND REMITTANCE, also as a result of federal government need to boost revenue via non oil means, all DMB’s (Deposit Money Banks)and other financial institutions are herewith by law enforced to deduct a sum of =N=50 on all deposits above the sum of =N=1,000 with immediate effect.

The implication of this is that for any deposit above N1,000 made by clients into our account for trading purposes, "stock broker" will be debited by the bank with N50 as stamp duty. Consequently, we shall pass this charge to you in order to bring your actual deposit with us to its reality.

Freed my cash after the profit warning. Only God knows how He answers our prayers because I won't mind if that stock crashes wella o against the wishes of some. It is well.
Zenith and Fidelity were involved but I guess not as significant as FCMB and FBN. There is an article that actually says otherwise. Will post it when I find it.

Edu, you are seriously battling for FCMB. In my experience, I don't do companies that just declared a bad result, reason being that I cannot guarantee how other investors will react, especially in an already bearish market caused by general world macro economic issues.

An over reaction by investors could lead to a tempoary crash, but of course, if u are in already and can't get out, U can only pep talk urself out of the situation until things improve. I do it too.

Though seriously, if u can offload ur FCMB units, pls do. Offloading at a loss ain't bad especially when some stocks like Zenith may still have an upside potential of N2, this new month.

FCMB in their corporate release mentioned that same fate awaits their Q4 results, so why have faith in them. I would prefer having faith in God.

Also note that Oando and FCMB are in different industries and the pricing dynamics of their share price is quite different. FCMB might not get to 0.65k. In fact I feel they won't, but they can.

In summary, I don't see any economic reason to believe in FCMB. If you have to believe in them, let it be because of a Word from God about putting your money there.

For me FCMB is a sell.

pls why will Zenith may still have an upside potential of N2, this new month.

You need to study and understand the market and stop looking for quick money. The stock market is a market with a lot of up and down which requires mastery of investment techniques to operate in. Many have burnt their fingers and many will still burn. Even yours truly is not excluded. However, with my knowledge and mastery of the market, it happens no more.

Back to your question, I will want to rephrase it this way; what are the penny stocks with growth or value potential. Growth stocks include transcorp, tigerbrands, diamond bank, Skye, Mansard, livestock feed, UBA etc.. Stocks like FBNH, Oando, CCNN, dangote sugar, NAHCO amongst others represent value stocks.
