This country have no future, most of the pension funds are already invested in FGN bonds as loans to the federal government and what was newly accumulated is been borrowed by force. Many if not most of these governors have not been paying into the pension funds. please, let's divide this country so that the new nations can take charge of their destinies because present day Nigeria is been looted as a no man's property. Even the politicians don't expect this country to last so they are stealing as much as possible. |
If this story is actually true, then the question we need to ask is why did the second wife agree to marry him? The answer to that question matters a lot. |
Kccheechy:Electric vehicles would never equal or outperform similar sized fossil fuelled vehicles especially as research have been producing more energy efficient fossil fuelled vehicles but Western governments have decided to wean themselves from fossil fuels and it's going to be an interesting future watching them do it. |
King2019:My dear, Nigeria have derailed completely, it's Biafra or nothing. |
Oil would still be relevant in the next 50 year and more but the days of oil selling at high prices of hundred dollars or more per barrel would be over within the next 50 years. I don't foresee oil selling for more than hundred dollars per barrel throughout next year except there's an exceptional reason. I believe oil would sell mostly at fifty dollars or less next year especially if the Biden's administration in America lifts sanctions against Iran. Nigeria seriously needs to cut the cost of governance and eliminate questionable programs because our earnings from oil in for the next thirty years would not be enough to service our debts and still run the economy. |
Whatsapp calls only then. |
The same report on the FrontPage with a different heading, GEJ should be careful with his current romance with APC, they would rubbish him after which they would drop him. He should not affliction affect him for the second time. |
Suntwist:location. |
There's only one IPOB with Nnamdi Kanu as it's director of information and Emma powerful as it's spokesman, all these planted fake news would never confuse IPOB supporters nor would it weaken IPOB. It's Biafra or nothing. Regional government was in place when the Fulani in connivance with their foot soldiers arrested and locked up Awolowo in the east which led to widespread violence in the then Western region that lead to the deaths of thousands of Yorubas. This same regional government was in place when killings in the North caused the secession of Biafra and the consequent civil war. Regional government is not the solution. It's Biafra or nothing. |

Fake news alert devoid of a source link, the rate of fake news been peddled against IPOB online these days is unbearable, yet IPOB still keeps waxing stronger. It's Biafra or nothing. Umahi should shut up and face the consequences of his actions, he should stop attacking those not attacking. |
Jonathan should stay away from APC or prepare for premium tears. |
And when VOA and CNN releases another damaging news report against the Nigerian army, Lai Mohammed would start foaming from the mouth. I sincerely believe that once the new American president takes over governance, most Nigerian politicians would face severe sanctions including travel bans for their families and asset seizures. The American president elect was among those who called for the army to stop shooting at unarmed protesters during the attack on Endsars protesters. PDP too is allowing her support base to be destroyed in the southeast and South south while keeping quiet over rash statements by Wike and Umahi against the local voting populace, i just hope that the American/ Western power ban threats would lead to fairly free and fair future elections as was witnessed in Edo state, both PDP and APC are the same. It's now time for a youth takeover. |
Mgbadike80:please, can anyone answer this? |
After the new president takes over in the USA, Nigerian government officials might be hit with extreme sanctions from western countries. Nigeria is a country where everybody in authority behaves like a demigod and our political leaders are the worse. |
Please, what's the current prices for different sizes of casement Windows. |
I don't believe this your story because of the part about your friend telling her that he can't transfer less than 100k, however, sex is not worth all these stress. Your friend should ignore her but he should not play that type of game again in his life, it's not worth it. |
thunderfirebubu:i noticed that you sent me an email but i don't have access to the email anymore. |
Let's just divide this country in peace. |

Why is IgbereTV now specializing on anti-IPOB news of recent? The federal government propaganda machine is trying to use IPOB as their excuse for their failures, using PDP's 16 years in office is no longer defensible. |
A bunch of thieves fighting over influence and money while the country sinks more into debt, hardships and human rights abuses. |

Uteghe:Nnamdi Kanu a drop out? the joke is on you and your certifficateless president. |
i found it laughable that none of the major news outlets in Nigeria is reporting on this purported split in IPOB, it's only Igbere. We are not new to false news and propaganda against IPOB including the reported split of IPOB into RIPOB and NIPOB yet all those propaganda died without producing any fruit. What these liars failed to realise is that Nnamdi Kanu is not the leader of IPOB and therefore can exercise the type of arbitrary powers they accuse him of, he's only the director of information with Uche Mefor as his deputy. Even IPOB funding comes from the general council which is co-ordinated through Skype meetings because it's members are scattered around different continents. Nairaland should stop encouraging this false news by pushing it to the internet. This latest anti-IPOB false news have been circulating on whatsapp by the APGA online warriors group for at least three weeks now because of the Anambra governorship election billed for next year but their propaganda have already failed. |
When would CNN fo a report on the ongoing massacre in Obigbo? i asked because it seems only Western governments can make the government to act right. |
ABUJA—THE Federal Executive Council, FEC on Wednesday approved contracts for construction of two roads from Sokoto and Jigawa States up to Nigeria’s borders with Niger Republic at a total cost of about N30 billion. Ad The Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, disclosed while briefing State House correspondents at the end of the FEC meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Council Council Chamber, Presidential Villa Abuja. According to him, the first contract of N9.5 billion was for the 46 kilometers road from Balle Kurdella in Sokoto State to the border in Niger Republic border. The second contract is for the 50- kilometer road from Kunya in Jigawa State to the Niger Republic border, and it will be constructed by Mothercat civil engineering firm at a cost of N19.76 billion. Fashola explained that the contracts were approved as part of strategies to implement the administration’s Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP), to boost trade and economy, especially given the international commercial activities in those areas. He said, “The Ministry of Works and Housing presented one memorandum for the award of roads. The first is Belle/Kurdulla to Niger Republic border road in Sokoto. It’s in Favour of messres North Sea limited joint venture with Caesar Engineering at N9. 576 million to be completed in 24 months, the Road is 46 kilometers Ad “The second one is for Kunya… to Niger Republic border phase two which is in Jigawa State at N19. 763.567 billion. ” The length of the roads is 50 kilometers and council considered and approved this memorandum on the justification made that it is critical not only to execute our mandate under the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan and Ministerial mandate to improve infrastructure but also for the enablement of business across borders particularly now that we have taken an affirmative position of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement. Ad “The market in that area of the country do a lot of trade across borders. So this is a good boost for business as well.” Also briefing, the Minister of Water Resources, Suleiman Adamu, said that the council approved the extension of contract services for Kontagora irrigation project in Nigeria State by three years at a cost of N734.5 million. The project he said was started in 1987 but abandoned until resuscitated recently. Ad He said, “The Ministry presented one memo to the Council. This memo was seeking an extension to the consultancy services related to Kontagora/Auna Dam and Irrigation Project. ” This is a project that was started in 1987 and abandoned and as part of our efforts to complete ongoing and abandoned projects that we inherited, we revived it in 2017/2018 and since we have revised it and there’s going to be an extension of time, it makes sense for the consultants that have been working to the project to also have an extension of their services. Ad “Accordingly, Council approved the extension of the services of the consultants by three years in the total sum of N734.5 million. That was our presentation today. Kontagora/Auna is in Niger State.” The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika said, “We had one memo today at the Council and it has to do with the refurbishment of the Accident Investigation Bureau’s Office, here in Abuja and the establishment of the training school for accident investigation, also here in Abuja. Ad ” Accident Investigation, of course, they are like the pathologists of Aviation. Their job is to investigate accidents and incidents and review preventing its happening again. ” The contract sum for the construction of the school is N645, 453,627.80. For the refurbishment of the office, it is N591,857,050.39. It was taken and approved. ” The sum is inclusive of the equipment in the laboratory, it has laboratory components and these equipment are from their manufacturers, through the representatives of those manufacturers. Ad ” They will be certified by International Civil Aviation Organization and the NCAA, which is the regulator of the industry in Nigeria.” The Minister of Mines and Steel, Olamilekan Adegbite, said he presented to FEC a report card of his Ministry and parastatals for the first 100 days. Besides, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, also told journalists that he presented the score card of his Ministry to the council. Ad The presentation of score card has been the practice for Ministries created in the second term of the Buhari presidency. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/02/fg-approves-n30bn-for-roads-to-niger-republic/ |
The Nigerian police force is the worst in the world. |
Okoroawusa:The army spokesman said that the videos released so far by the protesters were photoshopped, you guys are so incompetent and heartless. |
Now that Punch newspaper have revealed that the Lagos state government ordered hospitals not to release the corpses of those killed during the #Endsars protest, we're getting closer to the truth. |
Difference is simple: Mefor went to school Kanu's dropped out. Kanu carries his illiteracy fuelled uncivility like a belly button.
