If the mistake was from British Council, why not request for a new TRF

The mistake was not from British council, my brother was the one that collected my passport as well as applied for the Exam for me.. When I found out it was late (one week to the Exam) so I thought to my self, its just a prove of English nt a birth certificate and I wrote the Exam even if I tried to change it on the day of the exam by providing my birth certificate and other documents that has the correct DOB they insisted it is what is reflecting in my international passport DAT they will go with. Fast forward , I had to write to immigration because it was their mistake, they changed it and gave me a new passport, British council still refused to change it... So will it affect the visa decision? Even when I provide evidence of how I have tried to change it as well as an affidavit... Pls I need a candid answer.. I really don't want a bad decision because of this... Or does anyone have a friend in Biritish council that can help?

Pls I have an important question and I need help ASAP.... I am about to apply for my VISA but there is a timy issue... My IELTS UKvi result has a wrong Date of Birth and British council refused to change it.... Can I swear an affidavit and still go ahead to use it to apply for my Visa? All my other docents have the correct date of Birth just d IELTS.. Will it hamper my chances of getting a VISA?
