Romance / Re: She Visited And Now Very Sick, How Do I Send Her Back? I Need Advice Urgently by MhzzKay(f): 11:23am On Jan 18, 2016
purest21:
I met this girl on badoo and we got talking. Barely two weeks we knew she offered to come to my place at awka from asaba. Which straight guy would turn down such offer? I was amazed as she did not even request for t-fare and I wondered if really such type of girls still existed in Nigeria.
She got to awka the next day and I've already arrange some cash that would buy us some nice time not knowing that what I called 'cash' wouldn't be able to settle up to 20% of the liability that was impending.

As this girl stepped into my house, the next morning she got heavily sick! Oblivious of the gravity of the sickness, we went to the medicine store on my street and the guy mixed drugs for her. After three days, this girl started showing symptoms that she's about to die, the same symptoms I saw on my grandmom before she died. With that fear I rushed her to the hospital and the doctor prescribed a list of heavy heavy drugs that I must buy in their hospital. Due to inadequacy of cash because the so called cash I reserved for flexings has almost exhausted, I had to buy only one out of the four listed drugs.
And that was when this dying girl started making me to feel she planned the whole thing. That maybe she knew she was going to fall sick and then needed a medical maga. She would not appreciate my kindness so far, instead she would be busy utilizing any given opportunity to complain, diss or attack me.

To cut it all short, I've already spent close to 10k on this ungrateful sickler and still spending. And sure thing is either this girl dies in my house or I'll be going bankrupt if she doesn't go back to asaba soonest.
As I'm typing this, she's here lying next to me and not even thinking of going back to her place. Please I need advice on how to send her back because I've reasoned it will actually take some balls to just wake her up and eject her indiscriminately, I don't even know if she can travel back on her own. I dont think this kind of ill-luck should be starting somebody's year!! Advice please
. Ii believe you just learnt ur lesson the hard way,you should try to call her parents or her friends and inform them of the current situation....it seems yu r concerned abt her travelling alone yu might as well travel to asaba to drop ur luggage bt if she's refusing all ur offers yu hv d license to kick her out of ur haus
Family / Re: Why I Don't Want My Brother To Get Married To Her by MhzzKay(f): 11:16am On Jan 18, 2016
SSpeter:
I know this might not be totally right but at least it will make me feel great. Egbon wants to get married in march and automatically I will become the best Man. But I don't want him to get married to her. It is not because of her but the dad.

It all started back in 1998 my dad was having a court case with our supposed in-law over our house. The house was sold to my dad by the late late brother of our supposed in-law. That was even before my dad got married. We have lived in that house for more than 10yrs. My siblings and I were born there. After the death of the brother in 1998 he dragged my dad to court saying his brother was only a benefactor and does not have the legal right to sell the building and their late father made him the executor of His properties according to the late father's will. My parents were partners in business and their office was located at the ground floor of the building where we lived. Their goods were also stored there (plumbing equipment).

Prior to joining the plumbing business, my dad was into commercial inter-state transport services after suffering heavy losses he auctioned what was left and joined my mum in the plumbing business. A year later he was in court with our supposed in-law. The legal battle started in December. Egbon travelled with an aunt of mine who had won a visa lottery the previous year. My sisters were older than the guys. they were already in boarding school. I was the king of the house. My dad suffered many embarrassment at the hands of our supposed in-law. He dragged the case for some years money meant for business ended up in legal battles. My dad had to borrow to pay suppliers. He couldn't not order for new materials anymore and the business eventually collapsed. Extended families gave their support until 2003 when a lagos high court handed our supposed in-law victory undecided

My dad wanted to appeal the judgement but his lawyer told him to get an apartment with whatever he has left. Although my parents thought they hid everything from us. Perhaps my sisters didn't notice because they were not always home but I saw my mum cry severally. I saw the fears in my dad eyes. I listened to their whispering at night I knew we were doomed. Our supposed In-law sold the house to a bank. The bank gave two weeks to evacuate. But before the notice expired they brought sledge hammer and started destroying the building with our properties in it. My dad tried to protest but he was beaten and arrested. For the first time I saw our "Supposed In-law" that day ordering the boys to destroy everything. My dad was later released days after. I went to live with my cousins. My sisters also went to live with my other cousins.

In 2006 I wrote a mail to Egbon I narrated all that happened to him and he vowed he was going to ensure that they payed for it dearly. Few years later, I got admission into the university my parents embraced christ; But I still feel bitter. How time flies, my sisters are both married and it's just me preparing for the life of a bachelor; Until recently my brother told me his plans of getting married, I noticed it because he has visited us more than usual last year and had extensive discussions with my parents. But whenever He came back He still promised my dad that he will never forget all that happened. My dad told him that was in the past but I know what my brother was capable of doing as regards family.

He brought his supposed girl friend (I believe that is all she will ever be) to the house last christmas everyone welcomed her but immediately I set my eyes on her, she looked like the man that was giving orders to tear down our house. I asked her for her surname, when she said ****US, I knew she was the daughter of our long time enemy. When they left, my mum and dad begged me that I shouldn't say anything. That they have forgiven him. She invited my parents and I during the new year but I declined. I have also told my brother I can't be his best man. He thought am joking cos it was via mail. My brother had assured me severally whenever I told him what became of us after then that incident and he told me "I will give up anything to deal with the Man that messed with my family". I guess I will have to tell him the whole truth. But my parents keep calling me every single day to beg. "Saying I should not bring him misery. That they were happy he decided to bring home a cool headed lady".....But I just can't let it go. Unless my brother and I will decide not to be brothers anymore because I will never go to his house if he marries her. I will never associate myself with him or anything that has to do with him.

I have finished typing the truth I want to send the mail to him...I don't know why I am hesitating (I guess my parents will forgive me sooner or later) but he has to know the truth!!!!....i can't dine with my enemy!.....I don't want to see her dad face again....never...I hope am doing the right thing....i think I am.....perhaps I am..
My dear its normal to feel bitter but it was never ur battle in the first place,if ur parents have begged you not to say anytin you should respect their wish.....in due tym when they feel its necessary they'll resolve the issue themselves.....trust me the parents of the girls won't be able to look ur parents in the eye, don't let ur brothers love suffer.
Religion / Re: Pastor Adeboye: A Prophet Or An Imposter - Sahara Reporters by MhzzKay(f): 10:00am On Jan 18, 2016
handsomeclouds:
Pastor Adeboye's prophecies for 2016 are no different from his previous ones - he has managed to keep everything fuzzed up and has avoided being specific so as not to incriminate himself in the future. However, there is one item on his list that requires scrutiny because I believe it shows Pastor Adeboye to be a manipulative person. I shall return to this in a moment.
Pastor Adeboye
First, let us build a quick picture of the man. Pastor Adeboye is probably the most influential pastor in Nigeria. His church has branches in almost 100 countries around the world, with an estimated 14,000 churches in Nigeria alone. The Redeemed Camp is responsible for perennial traffic congestion on the Lagos-Ibadan motorway because of where it is situated and the sheer size of the congregation that worships there. Whether the church has done enough to forestall this problem and alleviate the sufferings of road users is a subject for another day. Pastor Adeboye's fund raising methods are a cause for concern. He announced plans in 2013 to build a church auditorium of approximately 3km in length (http://dailypost.ng/2013/08/14/three-kilometer-auditorium-angry-nigerians-blast-adeboye-say-n1billion-per-person-donation-is-criminal/). To fund the project, he told his followers: "We need N1 billion from ten people . . . We also need N100 million from those who can afford it. Please see my secretary." How many hard-working people with unquestionable source of income would dole out money on a project like that which will not yield any returns for them? This behaviour encourages corruption - the thieves who steal our commonwealth will see this as an act of buying penance from God. Pastor Adeboye is importunate - he never tires of using mental gimmicks to persuade his members to give him money. Only last month, he was reported to have told them: "Let me tell you the truth, the only reason we still take offerings is to get you out of poverty. When you give offerings you’re sending money to heaven." A few years ago, he claimed that he drove his car without fuel from Ore to Lagos to a thunderous applause from his congregation. It beggars belief that anyone would believe this story. To complete the picture, take a look at his 2015 prophecies and decide for yourselves whether he made any ground-breaking predictions or if he just played safe by refusing to make specific statements. (https://secure.saharareporters.com/2015/01/02/end-year-prophecies-ijabla-raymond#.VKbHn0sJtN4.wordpress). Notice that he had prophesied: "Daddy (referring to God) says all over the world insurgencies will be considerately weakened." The terrorist activities of jihadi groups like ISIS, Boko Haram (BH) and al-Shabab in 2015 do not support this prediction. This observation alone completely invalidates his claim of speaking the mind of God.

Let's return to the 2016 prophecies which can be found on the church's website: http://rccg.org/prophesies-for-year-2016/. Pastor Adeboye prophesied that, "a new sexually transmitted disease will surface." But he does not disclose that he received this revelation from newspapers and medical journals. British researchers announced late last year the discovery of a "new" sexually transmitted disease (STD) called mycoplasma genitalium (http://www.nhs.uk/news/2015/11November/Pages/New-sexually-transmitted-infection-MG-may-be-widespread.aspx). It is worth noting that pastor Adeboye does not give the name of the new STD and its causative organism like researchers always do. Does God whom he claims to speak for not know this information? Why does he not specify where, how and when the disease will surface? How bizarre for an omni-benevolent God to announce the emergence of a new disease but not the cure? Curiously, God was also silent about BH and the abducted Chibok girls, the fall in the price of crude oil and its effect on our economy, the agitation for the state of Biafra, climate change, the conflict in Syria. Pastor Adeboye's prophecies portray God as someone who is always silent on the issues with real implications for our daily existence. That, of course, is based on the assumption that God exists and that He speaks to the pastor. I could never understand how someone can know the mind of an entity they cannot even prove exists. What is obvious is that pastor Adeboye, like the rest of his fellow prophets, relies on the BBC, CNN and other news media to formulate his prophecies.
The reason this situation bothers me is because literally tens of millions of Nigerians believe that God speaks through this man. Accordingly, the choices they make in life are guided by every word he speaks. Collectively, Adeboye and his fellow pastopreneurs have turned a generation of Nigerians into magical thinkers and have destroyed critical thinking. Even our universities and other centres of learning are not immune from their destructive influence - believe it or not there are professors who believe that prayers can make a car drive without fuel just as pastor Adeboye proposed; that diseases can be caused by evil spirits; that witches and wizards are responsible for infertility; and so on.

Thankfully, the days of lying to Nigerians are drawing to a close. Information is the greatest weapon against ignorance, fear, superstitions and exploitations. Nigerians now have access to the internet and can easily cross check facts. By this time next year, we would know if a new STD has been discovered and if indeed God speaks to pastor Adeboye.

. I think you should direct the question to God because 'if you ask me na who I go ask'.......let's try and face our own problems so we can better our lives other than focus on others who are making waves in Gods kingdom and on earth...........God bless you

Religion / Re: Difference Between Going To Church And Worshipping God by MhzzKay(f): 10:28am On Nov 15, 2015
StOla:
Today, I will switch ON my TV as I always do, and watch cartoons and movies to try create an air of peace and happiness.

So much strife, misery and violence in a religious world, that I ponder what sanity an irreligious society could have offered.

All around me, an adulterous man has just polished his shoes and headed to church. A fraudulent employee has just filled his wallet with cash for offertory - funds embezzled from overstated receipts from the past week.
The choir master has put on his best perfume in the hopes that Mary will return home with him this Sunday afternoon. The pastor has just perfected another strategy of improving the amount of revenue realised from his Sunday business, costs will certainly be borne by the Williams who just had a test tube baby the church has craftily termed a miracle.

We will all wake up on Monday and return to our busy weekly activities, except that only I would have truly rested. The sooner we realize that salvation is a personal race we'll stop worrying about d adulterous man going to church or d choirmaster dat has hopes that sister Mary will return home or d religious fanaticism in the world today....On the last day evry man will stand n will be judged according to his/her works, let every man work out his own salvation with fear and trembling...God bless you
