once the ongoing one is concluded, the key word here is "Concluded". Which states your source agrees that it will be concluded, or, is there something I'm missing, or it's just semantics? Plus, I am also EH, and I got 1st hand info about why the whole process was delayed, but i won't just come here and post stuff, because my years of experience has taught me how to manage info, and I also understand the delicate nature of issues concerning this recruitment. Thank God all that was sorted, and Napolitano's claim also gave credence to the fact that the recruitment will be concluded soon. The MD himself stated it during the town hall meeting with staff of NNPC.

The GMD himself has said “the corporation will soon close out on recruitment..” the action phrase is “SOON CLOSE OUT”. He didnt even say we will soon bring in new staff staff meaning he was referring to a process that has already started...the process i know is the one that produced 9000 candidates that were interviewed early July after CBT and initial shortlisting.

Not true about the pension account. From what I knw, NNPC has its own pension scheme which covers both NNPC and DPR staff.

If the guy comes now with an update that the GMD has said for example that HR should cut the slot of those to be notified to proceed to medicals to only 200 GTs and 50 EH, na so we go say he should be sure of his update otherwise not even provide any at all...lol. !

The reason I haven't responded to all the innuendos being spun here is that there is really no update to be given.
Definitely the list is ready and surely it has been sent out to the Minister as we all know. As far as I know,the court case has not been the reason why the list has not been released. They just haven't gotten around to it since the unfortunate delay caused by the whining politicians.
The Minister wanted to use it as an Independence gift to the nation but after the brief pause in the process, he has been in and out of the country since that list and the report of the committee was sent to him.
Now he has travelled with the GMD to Saudi Arabia and it is inconceivable that they won't talk about this process before they return to Nigeria from Riyadh. I am aware that the list is awaiting the Minister's go ahead.
Till when he has the time to approve its release, we wait with fingers still crossed!

Was it our senior - Cavalier who mentioned that if not for political big wigs that wanted to hijack the recruitment vs a last minute overview of the process ordered by the Minister of state, the list ought to be released back then as a sallah gift to the Nation. Who knows, maybe they now plan to make it Xmas/ New Year Gift. Fingers crossed, looks like what ever happens all odds in favour of between now and Dec 20th latest especially after GMD MKK publicly announced position that “We [NNPC] will SOON conclude on recruitment!”
