For the third time, my application to study in Canada fell through. This time, I got rejected by the schools admissions board based on some reasons that sounds suspicious. Anyway, I just wanted to let y'all know that the struggle for APL continues.

As it stands, there seems to be a superior argument in favor of Contract Staff within the Mgt circle. This is for a number of reasons amongst which is the fact that they already have requisite hands-on experience/training over the years. So, Why hire new EHs when you have already expended resources to train Contract Staff?

As such, they’re considering proceeding with GTs and shelving EH applicants. No final resolution has been made yet as they’re still weighing the options and having meetings.

In the end, there might just be some middle-ground agreement.. take from here and there.

N.B - they seem to have more connections than us, if at all we do. Lol

9 years was still our minimum requirement during the application..
Maybe both means the same finally..

They are the same. I still have the whole list of openings that were advertised. A superintendent role requires 9 years work experience too.

I was busy telling myself I applied for supervisor position until I looked closely at my form recently and discovered its superintendent position..

1. Are you aware that there was a meeting in Lagos yesterday in respect to releasing of APL
2. Are you aware that nothing is delaying the release of the APL except the GMD himself.
APL would drop this December as another meeting is expecting this coming week to finalize the process.
The group GMD is not happy that some people were able to manipulate some names in the list to be release, but there is nothing he can do about it. i have read from page 1 till this very last page and refused to comment because some won't appreciate it.
Mind you, i am not an applicant but my spouse is, for the EH.
Expect APL in December

Nobody will sue PPPRA now wo, but NNPC that decided to conduct a public & transparent exercise, one slowpoke has taken it to court.

Truth of the matter also remains that if not that we as a people are innately selfish and don't care about anyone else apart from ourselves, the case the lawyer is pursuing is actually for the good of everyone. Why segregate one aspect of the society because of age which is totally no fault of theirs. If we had an outta of selflessness we will all rally round the lawyer to pursue the case. This is the same thing our leaders do too. They don't care about anyone else apart from themselves and their family. Ask yourself this. If NNPC has pegged the age at 20 to which many people here would have been disqualified do you think you will be supporting the lawyer or not. This is also why our prayers seems never to get answered because God sees our minds that we are just pursuing our selfishness. Good night
