Nah don't compare Obaseki with Aketi. Obaseki was fighting everyone including the State's lawmakers and Oshiomhole.

But in Ondo State, the lawmakers are solidly behind Aketi and they're the ones that contributed money to buy APC nomination form for him. Also Aketi does not have any issue with the APC NWC or Oshiomhole.

Even Oshiomhole said it recently that Aketi is doing well.

Thanks for the info. I know next to nothing about Ondo politics. But why is the deputy governor against him? I understand the deputy gov9is trying to defect to PDP to contest against Aketi

The only problem they have with him is that Aketi has changed Ondo State politics from sharing the state's resources by doing stomach infrastructures to betterring the lives of the people of Ondo State.

Largely speaking, Politicians who don’t see things that way are the folks who don’t share the same page with him.

Sounds like another Obaseki in the making

Great! But why does Aketi have so much opposition in Ondo even within APC , including his own deputy?

With all his purported achievements, his second term should be assured shouldn't it?
