[s] hornyofife: You are comparing flooding, a natural disaster to poverty, a self inflicted disaster caused by laziness and poor hygiene of yoruba indigenes...
Look how backwards, uncivilized and rustic your towns and cities look....even with beautiful bridges and roads, they still look dirty, ugly and backwards because of that fundamental problem which is of no government fault but that of the oridinay citizens, which is laziness, poverty and poor hygiene....thats why you guys still poo openly because your houses don't have inbuilt toilets.
Despite all the advantages you guys had after the civil war, you couldnt make anything out of it...the igbos with 20pounds have rebuilt their cities and are buying up the avaliable choice land and properties in lagos,is that not shameful for a people that pride themselves as educated and sophiscated who love to show off with flamboyant weddings? You guys have all ran to Lagos and abandoned you other towns in Oshogbo, ife, ede, ogbomosho, Ondo, Gbongon, Saki, Iwo, ota, shagamu Ado ekiti, Akure, Abeokuta and ibadan
Remove Lagos, Yorubaland is backwards...#facts [/s]Bros story for the pigs. When you were showing brown roofs of Ibadan you did not write epistle, when showing flood in osun, you did not put down long sermon. Bros, check the brown roof s of enugu n nsuka and deal with the flood pic. I don't care if it hurts you. |

cstr1000: Furst of all, thank God you did not deny you are not from anambra
Secondly, reclamation is only feasible when there is a stable water level. Global warming and climate change is increasing the water level rapidly. Residents in lekki are facing serious flooding on a regular basis. Infact, it is said that Lagos will be submerged in 50 years. Your wish. By then, you won't exist anymore. |

Amarabae: comparing Singapore with Nigeria is a treason act. Niger, Chad etc have large landmass in Africa yet Rwanda which is landlocked is far more than them. Nb : Southeast is bigger than Rwanda in landmass. If Lagos with 3000+ kmsq can contain up to 25million people, that means that IMO state which is 6000+kmsq can contain up to 50million people. This landmass noise is a psychological attack that they want to launch against Igbos but its dead on arrival That your igbo brother is too daft. Someone that doesn't know the difference between landmass and land area. But calling people illiterates. I just weak for his type of education. |

freedomforall30: Did You Know That Anambra state, the smallest SE State is 3x of Lagos State in Size? Anambra state land mass is 4845 sq km, while Lagos is 3445 sq km. However because over 60% of Lagos is water, swamps and lagoons, that's leaves Lagos with only 1378 sq km actual useable land mass. Anambra with only less than 5% water, has actual land mass of 4603 sq km. Hope this sinks into the skulls of afonjas who like to shout land mass, land mass, land mass like zombies when in fact it means nothing but since you want to make it an issue, we will make it an issue for you! Illiterates! It is so unfortunate that you that are calling someone illiterate is the most stupid and daft. When you cannot even differentiate between landmass and land area. You are such a shame shame to your education. |
