loveth360: he that fight and run away lives to fight another day.
He that drank rat poison because enemy is approaching is the coward. Statement of a chronic coward. Hitler never ran away, he fought till he died. . I love your consolation statement . Funny how you people compare awolowo, a bloody civilian that made a whole dictator ran away in skirt in the middle of the night. And latter died senilely . Hitler was a solder like one Mr here, but never ran away when it done on him. |

Bring it on, Internet tribal warlords. Let's see what you have to offer. He is a Yoruba, only trying to jibe those chest beating mofos. That is why he dares them to mention any of their Heros that stood by the heat without running away. |

Mtchewwwww, I stopped taken these people serious since Buhari went to their land. Worked majestically, waved to them and even tell it to their faces that they won't get biafra, that they should forget it. One would think the keyboard warriors and their chest beating spokesman would go to the airport to stop buhari on that that cos that was what I was expecting. But hmm, instead, they chickened out, they didn't even protest and the man was even given title. Yet you expect me to take some ordinary cockroaches ranting on facebook and nairaland serious. Taar, He will not go back alive, we will spill our blood with his own. All na mouth. They are quick to call people coward, thinking bravery is by beating chest up a d down. Take them serious at your own peril. Kanu's comrades still in prison and nothing happen. No be same people wey go born down the nation if anything happens to their god? I have not seen flame since kanu gone. Oga, forget jor, we enjoy their mouth.

Politics › Re: Awo's Dysfunctional Legacy On Nigerian Politics by Michael004: 6:02pm On Nov 26, 2017 |
[s] BlowBack: 1. First to introduce ethnicity into Nigerian politics with his Action Group - an unapologetic Yoruba party.
2. First to introduce cross-carpeting. With the NCNC (a party formed and headed by Herbert Macaulay - a Yoruba) winning a majority in the 1953 parliamentary elections, Awolowo was able to convince Yorubas elected under the NCNC to defect to his AG. Herbert Macaulay had died a few years prior and the NCNC had elected Zik as it's national leader. The fact that an Igbo man was the head of the NCNC was enough to convince Yoruba politicians to defect to the AG.
3. First to introduce thuggery and electoral rigging alongside his Yoruba nemesis Akintola. The SW with the directive of Awolowo was the first to pollute the democratic process.
4. First to be duly tried and convicted for Treason over his lame attempt to overthrow the govt of Tafa Belewa.
5. Openly called for a return of military rule after losing to Shagari for a second time. He did this with his Lagos-Ibadan presstitutes who published on a daily basis false propaganda to discredit the administration of Shehu Shagari. Corruption was the mantra and this was what made the likes of Buhari to have the audacity to topple a democratically elected civilian govt.
6. From 5 above we can discern the following from Awolowo:
(a) a bad loser who refused to accept defeat
(b) a slanderer and liar who pushed false propaganda on his opponents
(c) a desperate, power hungry politician who preferred military dictatorship than to remain head of the opposition. After all, Awo's greatest moments came about through military dictatorship where he doubled as both vice President to Gowon and Minister of finance. Awo, thought Buhari will overthrow his fellow Fulani only to share the same govt with him. Story!
In conclusion we can all see that Awolowo pioneered the pollution of our political space with his desperate, corrupt and ethnic style of politicking. [/s]
