Ajaokuta Steel is massive, 68km road network, 24 housing estates. Some of the estates have over 1,000 homes, a seaport, a 110mw power generation plant. There are 43 separate plants in Ajaokuta alone. It is estimated that if Ajaokuta becomes operational, it will create 500k jobs. There is no industrialized nation on earth that does not have a steel sector it’s that simple. Subusiso Mpungose, 44, is said to have waited until his teacher wife Xolisile, 42, went to work then took a string of taxis to pick up three of his children from a nearby creche and a school. It is alleged that he took his son Kuhlekonke, 4, daughter Khwezi, 6, and son Sphesihile, 10, back to the marital home and then sent the oldest boy out to a local shop to buy them all snacks. South African media said police sources told them that while his son had gone out shopping he hanged the younger two children with their school belts from burglar-prevention bars on the windows. It is alleged that when Sphesihile then returned with treats for the family he was also strung up by his belt in a different room. The three children were later found hanging dead in their school uniformed by armed police who broke into the family home. Mpungose then tricked his wife's teenage daughter from a previous marriage to come out of school before hanging her in nearby woods. The mother first became concerned when she noticed unusual activity on her taxi App that showed trips being taken by her husband between their home and their children's school. She immediately went to a local police station at Wyebank in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal province, and said she was scared of her husband and was frightened to go back to her home alone. A police team escorted her back and found the locks had been changed so they broke to door down to find the three hanging children. The Federal Government of Nigeria has made an unexpected U-turn over the $9 billion (N3.5 trillion) judgment involving Nigeria and a British Firm – Process and Industrial Developments Ltd (P&ID). This was disclosed by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed while speaking on NTA breakfast programme on Thursday. The details: According to Muhammed, the government knows the consequences of such payment on the economy, and is ready to negotiate with P&ID to find a way out. The statement credited to the minister came against the backdrop of the recent press release by the Federal Government, where the same minister for information threatened that the reports of Nigerian assets take over held no water. However, the government appears to have bowed to pressure, resolving to negotiate with the firm as there were concerns over the judgement. “We are leaving no stone unturned to resolve this matter. Home Alone: How Not to Have a Boring Time By: Ronit. Recently, I had the opportunity to experience being by myself for a whole month. My son and my husband went to Africa for a drumming camp and I stayed home with my youngest daughter. She is 17 years old, independent and enjoying her time off between finishing high school and starting acting school, so I was mostly by myself, but I did not have a boring moment. The last time Gal was away was over 12 years ago, when he went to be with his mother on her last hours and I stayed home with 3 kids. My youngest was 5 years old and I was not by myself at all. Surprisingly, most of the people who knew Gal was away asked me how I managed being by myself. I didn’t really understand the question. They asked me if it wasn’t boring to be on my own. I thought about it for a long time. Why would anyone ask me about being bored on my own?
