Jesus did not go to preach in Hell either. Hell is a place of unconsciousness as proven by bible versions below.

Jesus died twice on the cross. He first died spiritually before he died physically.

He died spiritually when God forsook him.

Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

You certainly will not see a scripture which says that Jesus died spiritually but it is implied.

Spiritual death is separation from God.
