If you had read my exegesis you would have seen I made emphasis on "True" - Truth
being humanly subjective and both parties will always see themselves as being in the right.

And the absolute Truth determined by God might not be always known!

If the bible didn't state categorically that the Lord sanctioned the "Israelites wars"; using human devices all will blame Israel!!!

Or is there a prophet in Israel that told them the will of God as regards the Palestinian war?

Do you for a fact know if it is sanctioned by God or not?

Without evidence there's no way to ascertain if these wars were permitted.

Moving to christians, I assert Jesus told us not to take up arms!!!

Hence no ideal christian should take up arms!
but reality is not always ideal.
Oga you are funny.....you yourself have told us here that Jesus told his followers not to raise up arms. So what realities have changed that would make Jesus' disciples disobey such a command? Till now you've not stated one reality and you want me to take you serious?

Is this logically sound?

Have you not read church history?
From the pseudo conflicts between Rome and england, to the rise of protestantism.

I won't do your work for you.
I want you to search and read it up yourself.
Baba the bone of contention is that non of those wars were approved by God no matter what the realities on ground were which you've refused to point out.

You are just jumping up and down since.

Gabrielshow24:
It's totally irrelevant to the premise!

Also you have Google, query and educate yourself!
Baba you have no point. So you can't even name one reality that caused war for early Christians but did not cause war for Jesus' true disciples?

🤦 The same realities that caused the early christian wars.
Oga name the realities.

Gabrielshow24:
Can't you read?
Didn't you read the part where I said ideally it shouldn't be so?

Or are you confused about the meaning of ideally?

From Jesus' words no christian should raise up arms but is that the reality now?

According to Christ are we not all one body?
Is that the reality now?

What aspects of reality don't you understand?
From early church history we have historical facts of wars fought between christian factions!!!
So what is the reality now? What realities will make Christians engage in wars today that did not exist in Jesus' day?

Just a simple query dashes your positional stance.

There are so many instances of christians fighting against themselves!

Also the question should be rephrased, it should be like this: can you point out a war where christians have not slain each other?

This question is semantically wrong.
And your intention is not properly passed.

That's why I said you should revisit and correct this.
Oga you are more concerned about English. Face my question and answer it. You are forming smart after the other guy on this thread have exposed your ideas that Christians do not fight each other by giving you historical instances.

Oga there is nothing to revisit in all your submissions....you cannot still prove that being a soldier and killing people is not a sin in the eyes of God due to the fact that one being a soldier today cannot avoid oppressing innocent people and killing people who claim to be genuine worshippers of God.

Is it right for God's worshippers to fight each other whether they ask for his permissions or not?

The question is vague.
"True" is subjective in human context.
As it is very evident in this thread through various christian sects.

If for instance J.W. participated in a war with the Mormons both parties will always consider themselves true🤷🏾‍♂️.

Do you see how vague your question is?
Or are you not familiar with the war of the churches in ancient England?
So are you saying that it is ok for Mormons who claim to be Christians to fight JWs who claim to be Christians?

Be careful when you claim to speak on God's behalf. Human beings compete for perceived scarce resources for survival. The lion kills the sheep to eat. Is the lion evil.

Jews, Christians and moslems have killed millions in God's name.
Have true Christians killed each other in God's name? If yes, cite an example.

You act as though we are not subject to physical laws!

Christians are taught to follow peace with all men.

If all options of peace cannot resolve the matter then the last result is war!

And if it results in war obviously it shows one party has refused settlement and reconciliation.

So it's subject to context and specificity!
And if you generalize then you commit the fallacy of accidents
Do you have any example of true worshippers of God killing each other in war?

Do you have examples of Christians seeking peace with one another and eventually killing one another when there was no compromise?

Context is required but generally, No!
One party must be in the wrong and the other must be in the right!
In what context can true worshippers of God be wrong to warrant death in wars today?

Read the entire thing i wrote. You will find your answers there.

God sef na warrior.

The question is if proffessional soldiers are guilty of taking human lives. The answer is no and I've articulated my reasons for saying so. That killing in a war and murder are two different things.

Even military ethos condemn killing of an unarmed soldier who has surrendered.
In the Face of the laws of the country, the answer is no. But does God approve wars today that results in the oppression of people and the death of Christians, the answer is no. Any soldier involved in that is committing a sin.

I am not God but so I xant speak for God.

What I do know is that since the beginning of mankind, men have fought over perceived scarce natural.resources such as land, water, crude oul, gold reserves , grazing routes abd for even flimsy reasons such as women and power.

Kings have raised army of soldiers to defend against external aggression and take over territories for survival if need be.

Those are earthly doings and even God himself fought a war in heaven and used his soldiers of which the chief was archangel.Michael to cast out the Devil who went to war with God with a third of the angels.

It is the duty of a soldier to defend and also to attack and takingnof human lives comes with the job. Those lives are not perceived as innocent by either countries because it is what each soldier signed up for.

Even God sanctioned so many wars, It is murder of the innocent that God is against. Eg Jezebel murdered Naboth and God punished her. David Killed Uriah abd God punished him for it.

Brother, learn and stop arguing.
Oga...I'm happy you you've agreed that what we call an "enemy" in war today is based on individual countries perception and had nothing to do with God.

Do wars fought today spare the lives of Christians in either countries? Do God permit his faithful worshippers to kill each other in wars?

Your question is ambiguous.
And in the right context answers itself.
Yeah....it does answer itself. I asked that question to a comment that claims that modern isrealites wars are "within the law of God". Any war that results in the death of Christians can never be within the law of God.

Moses killed to save another person which the Law recognises as a good and valid ground for killing which is the lawful grounds soldiers have for killing.

But, they must be within the Law which is why you see Isreal never attacked first, they only retaliated after first being recipients of attack
Do isreal and Palestine soldiers kill Christians within their countries? Is that approved by God?

You have heard the truth but you don't like it.

If someone wants to kill me, I have every right to preserve my life by killing him.

Those are the rules of war. So soldiers killing their armed enemies is not evil in the eyes of God.

For example Abraham killed when he went to war against the 5 kings of the east, Moses killed the egyptian, David killed Goliath and many more but it did not stop God Almighty from loving them...but the day David murdered an innocent man named Uriah, he incured the wrath of God.

Stop the ignorance and no dey do I too know.
In the wars going on between countries around the world today, who can we say is the "justified" enemy in the eyes of God?
