1:Abraham paid tithe to Melchizedek. That was before God gave Moses the law
2: Moses brought the law and the children of Israel paid tithe as a law.
3: Mal. 3 instructed us to pay tithe.
4: Jesus talked about paying tithe.
5: Hebrews said Jesus is in heaven receiving tithe
6: Book of revelations talked about how nations will still come and pay tithe to Jerusalem during the 1000 years reign of Christ.

My bro, tithing is a LAW of YAHUAH engraved in the tablets of the heavens for His ordained priests. To do otherwise is to forsake His commandment so please be warned. The important question you should be asking is how should I pay my tithes and to whom.

My own opinion on tithe is, our pastors should sensitize the congregation and not threatened them.



Telling people they won't go to heaven, they will go back to square, telling them things will be tight is unbiblical. God message is clear on tithe it is not what you impose on people


Tithe is very important to the church because no church can function without money and all that. Christains must be sensitize that payment of tithe is for the propagation of the gospel and to aid church activities and not having the impression that once they're paying tithe they get something in return, God is not a forex trader. There is no ROI for tithe, dangote is not paying tithe and his blessing had never stop


Christain must see tithe as aid to church and not return of investment

While money is important to a church, there is no where that the bible made tithe a compulsion in the church. The church has no right of obligating their members to pay tithe. Paying Tithe is a personal choice.
