Oga....but Deuteronomy clearly shows that faithful servants of God would never try to communicate with the dead. It also shows that faithful dead servants of God would never communicate through a witch.

Go read the story, do you not see that the bible reprted Saul was very very close to Samuell, that he knew Samuel's spirit?

Even Samuel's answer already told you that indeed, Saul was speaking to Samuel, life and direct.

Oga if God was not communicating with saul prior to that event, do you think that a faithful man of God like Samuel would communicate to Saul through a witch which God had forbidden in Deuteronomy 18:11?

Samuel had already died. for long, which clearly means that his body was rotten and gone, yet a witch woke him up, from his sleep which we call death

So did the witch wake up his human body, which you know which was buried.and rotten in the grave?

If you read the story, did saul and the witch go to Sanuel's grave to wake him up? No.

So, what then did she wake up.to the point that Samuel complained "why did she disturb his sleep? Now, you see the answer.

Do you think faithful Samuel will communicate to Saul through the medium of a witch?

Why did God Forbade the isrealites in Deuteronomy
18:11 from trying to communicate with the dead if faithful dead people of God really had conscious souls that could be communicated with after their death?

Generally, we use soul and spirit interchangeably because, the soul is spiritlike.

But this soul/spirit of man is not the Spirit of God aka breath of God which keeps us alive on earth, which we get so as to live on earth as shown in Genesis 6:3/John 1:4 and others.

So here, we are talking about the 2nd half of man which is called soul/spirit since the first half of man which is called human and flesh has died as God Said.

Ok kindly explain Genesis 2:7......what is the soul according to the verse, and where was soul put inside man as the 2nd half of man?
