Sorry I don't trust you enough to call you. So if they are stangers and pilgrims on earth how come their life's began on earth? Was Paul lying?

Nice question. One thing to note is that the bible describes the human life as temporary because we don't live forever (James 4:14 and Job 14:1,2) So it could be said that we are strangers or pilgrims on earth cause we don't live forever on it. It does not necessarily mean we lived somewhere else before.

Today, I have two verses I want us to contemplate on. These verses help explain the origin of man.

Hebrews 11:13
“These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.”

Psalm 119:19 I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.

If we are strangers and pilgrims on the earth, then clearly our journey did not begin on earth.
Where did our journey begin?

Hmm....that's an interesting question you just asked.
It's important to know that the words 'strangers' and 'pilgrim' in those verses you read has to be understood in context of those scriptures. The bible does not teach that humans lived somewhere before coming to the earth. The bible shows that all human lives started from the earth (Genesis 2:7). Interesting....what about other Christians that have died in accidents.....did they not have a personal angel? Why did the angel not save them?

AntiChristian:
Yeah! Sort!

Just punishment or Enjoyment!

Hmm..ok...we could discuss more...chat me up on 08167469103

AntiChristian:
Neglect the asinine comment above. Everyone goes to the grave after death!

Those who deserve punishment would be punished till resurrection day!

Those who passes will have bliss till resurrection day!

Do you mean that there are activities going on in the grave?

Hello guys. I want to buy my first car. But I plan to use it for under 6-8 months then resell it. Heard toks are a lot better than Nigerian used and hold good value.

Please suggest good cars for me. Budget is 4M max. I would have preferred an SUV but I doubt I can find any within my budget.

Hello Experts,

My mum drove a Toyota carry 1998 for some years. The car developed fault and she has not been driving any car for about 2 years now.

I intend getting her a car very soon. I am hoping and praying I get the complete money in one week.

1. I am sure of the brand I want for her (A Toyota)
2. I am not yet sure whether I should go for a Camry or a Corolla
3. My budget is between 4m and 4.5m because cars are now very expensive
4. I don't want Nigerian used, I want foreign used
5. I checked online and I saw that my budget will be able to afford between 2009 and 2010 Models. I initially wanted a 2013 model but my budget cannot get a foreign used car of that year.

Please advise on whether to settle for a Corolla or Camry

Kindly also give reasons.

In addition, I will appreciate if Car Talk section regulars can suggest the best Expert I can hire to help with inspection in Lagos car ports. I am willing to pay for his services.

Thank you
