Lol. You got yours after the on-demand video?
Exactly 17 days after I submitted my on-demand video.

Please o, I got the progress letter to attend the full day session and I haven't done the on-demand video yet. Also there's no attached profile page or PDF.

Any explanation to this would be welcomed, thanks.
Lolz...God is the only explanation.

Thanks so much. But sorry. I just want to be so clear. Normal on-demand interviews would be like 'someone asks a question and then I record my answers'. Alright, so if i am meant to make a presentation, how does it work? Will i just talk through my answers/thoughts on the case study. No showing of data, figures? Yeah please?
Sir, just Download the App, it's easier to take the on-demand video with the App. If you have done that you will see the instructions on how to proceed. It's very easy and simple. The questions are written, you read and digest when you are ready, then record. If you are not satisfied re-record, you can do that countless times.

woodfrank:
Ok. You know there is a case study attached to the on-demand video interview. Are we meant to give answers to the case study - seasonal beer via an already prepared report (word or powerpoint)? Or are they just going to ask specific questions based during the video interview?
Yes, you are meant to give answers. I won't call it an answer per se, it's more like a presentation after looking at all the relevant mails and conversation between different managers to you. You don't need a word or powerpoint, if you have started the on-demand video at all, you will see that it's same process. Record yourself giving the presentation, then save and submit not it you are done.

Yeah, it was stated on the mail, that this is the 2nd to last round. They even offered accommodation a day to the main test. It will all end in praise, Amen!

I have a question please:

How did you upload your response to the case study. I mean, are there specific questions relating to the case study that would be asked during the interview or would you prepare a report that would be uploaded on their platform?

Thanks.
What case study? Please try to explain in the detail what you are asking about.

Thanks.
Bros, I believe we are in same boat, trying to ace any of the English test. What you should do is go to YouTube and type "PTE Academic" you will see a lot of videos. Stream, download and practice. God help us.

So this EA people gat me thinking, can't they ever complete the assessment within the alloted 15days or the 15days must elapse before they even assign someone's file. Because after paying for "fast track" the latter will be disappointing.

Must applicant always send them mails before they forward your outcome?

Abeg make assessed Engineers shook mouth o
I was contacted the 15th day, some actually got their outcome within 18 days.

Can points on work experience be claimed on a relevant employment you have been before you acquire the certificate you are using for assessment?
No, it's always after the date of the awarded degree. Anything before that does not count.

According to Ikenna 09/2016, Nigerians aren't allowed to operate with their credit cards by then ( I dunno of now oh). I can't remember the reasons vividly oh, but if you ask him he will explain to you in details. There's a lady somewhere who love milking people because of that, but if you let her know that you know, she will give you the actual amount.
Hahahaha @GMPC, Thanks for the info ma. I will try with a credit card and let the house know of the response. Thanks once again.

Ok, about the PTE, in addidtion to all the tips that different people had been giving on the thread.

For me, All I did was watch all the available youtube videos on PTE (I went to youtube and typed Pearson Test of English/ PTE)
Another thing I did was i went to google to check "how to describe graphs"

Most of the speaking is always about describing one diagram or graph so its important to know how to describe it so that you wont start rambling.

I also ensured that during the test I was speaking very clearly even when you think you are off point just keep talking and don't pause for more that a few seconds.

You must know how to verbally express commas and full stops because it counts.

then practice essay writing from those practice test.....(i don't have any but i know you can get from someone on this thread)

can't remember much for now, but I hope i have been able to assist small
Thanks a million. You just nailed where I needed to improve, that's the speaking section.

Yeah, spouse gets 820 after 17 months (varies).. and then 801 two years after that, if they are still married.
I have seen it, thanks bro...

No you can't. Except she applies for a tourist visa and come for a few months. But ultimately she will have to return when it expires and wait until partner visa is granted.
But I read on their website that the spouse of a PR could stay with a 820 visa, which is a temporary one pending the outcome of the 801 which is the permanent one. Though it's costly this way.

In his best interest he is advised to proceed and process the medicals for all his family members, so that they can benefit from his DIRECT GRANT as dependents.

If he decides to process for himself alone, meaning he will drop them as migrating dependents (skips medicals) but for them to come over later... he will require below
-Partner visa ( $7000)_14 - 20 months processing time...
-Child visa $2415_
Mehn, this partner visa processing time na long thing oo shocked

However, the dream of joining him in few months might not be realistic, getting dependent visa is not a piece of cake……..they might not even be able to join him years after settling. Best bet for him is to pull resources together and add them to his application right away.
This one shock me oo, bro how do you mean? So if I got my PR today and comes back say in 9 months time. I can't easily go back with my bride? Or she can't even join me in say some fee months after. Why?
