Not all types of blood clots are dangerous for your life. If you have a cut or a bruise which are also clots there is nothing to worry about. If you cut your finger, red blood cells form kind of a clot on the surface of your wound to prevent further blood loss. But there is a fatal disease called thrombus which is also a clot but this occurs inside your body. This type of blood clot usually causes pain and can even spread to another part of your body block the blood supply to those vital organs and it can result in death. Health This Moment gather there are six main symptoms of arthritis for you to check: #1. Swelling in one of your limbs It can be the sign of reduced blood flow in your limb. It may be dangerous as it prevents your cells from receiving oxygen. #2. Leg or arm pain If the pain in your extremities feels more like cramping and this skin area is warmer than other body parts, it can be the signs of thrombosis. #3. Red streaks on your skin As we have mentioned before, bruises are also clots but they don’t have red streaks. If you have noticed red streak along your veins and this skin area is warm to touch, you should consult your doctor as soon as you can. #4. Chest pains when you take a deep breath Pain while breathing can be the sign of a heart attack. Also, it can be the result of a blood clot in your lungs. As it is a death causing disease, call the ambulance if you have one. #5. Shortness of breath Inability to breathe deeply also can be the sign of blood clot in your lungs. If you feel higher heart rate or have a fluttering feeling in your head you should consult your doctor immediately. #6. It's a fact! all women want to look young at any age. However, aging is a natural process that can not be stopped. Therefore, sooner or later your skin will begin to become covered with fine wrinkles in connection with the fact that it will lose its elasticity. Our skin begins to age from the late 20s, but more obvious signs you can notice as you age. Over time, these proteins begin to deplete, leading to the appearance of wrinkles, lines and deep furrows on the face, forehead, neck and back of the hands. Moreover, we ourselves can contribute to the aging process due to unhealthy lifestyle, stress, the consumption of processed foods, caffeine, and alcohol. Looking flawless is the dream of all women and some men, but not everyone succeeds with it. The thing is that it may seem that all the celebrities look so perfect because they have access to all the best makeup production, best plastic surgeons at hand and what not. However the reality is pretty different, it is true though that access to best care products matters but that is not just it. The truth is that there are lots of habits that destroy our appearance without us even knowing it. If you think about alcohol, cigarettes, coffee, and sweets – they are not the only enemies. Today we are going to discuss seven more bad habits, which influence your outlook and speed up the aging. Get ready! #1. Squinting If you squint your eyes too often no matter how young you are, you will have lots of crow’s feet around the eyes. Therefore, you better not do that. #2. Pimples Most people know only one way of dealing with pimples – popping them out. Well, not the best way to deal with a pimple unless you wish to provoke some more of those and look your absolute worst. #3. Ponytail This hairdo may be the most practical one but if you do that too often, you may provoke bold spots, and you certainly do not want those. #4. Milk This one may be surprising but increased milk consumption may clog your pores, and you will start aging prematurely. #5. Reading There is nothing wrong with reading per se; it is the way you read. If you spend too much time reading while you are lying down expect wrinkles soon to appear soon. #6. Lips If you bite your lips too often, you will certainly ruin the surface to the point when none lipstick trick will save the day. The very same goes for nail biting. Try to eliminate these habits to a minimum. #7. The way you sit If you like to place your leg over the other, and sit in such a position for too long, you may be as well ready to welcome varicose veins in. Skin serves a vital purpose as a barrier, protecting the inside of the body. The skin is filled with special cells of the immune system that protect the body and skin from viruses, bacteria, and other hidden threats. For some people, itchy skin is a constant battle. It can be difficult to understand exactly what is causing the skin to itch. Itchy skin can be the result of a rash or another skin condition. It can also be a symptom of a more serious condition such as liver disease or kidney failure. To get relief, it is important to identify the problem and treat the underlying cause. Itching is a symptom that is common to many skin complaints. Skin can itch all over the body or only in specific areas. Here are some specific causes of itchy skin. Dry skin Dry skin is one of the most common causes of itchy skin. If you do not see any bright red bumps or notice a sudden change to your skin, dry skin is a likely cause. Environmental factors that can lead to dry skin include excessively hot or cold weather with low humidity, as well as washing too much. Dry skin can affect any age group, but, as you age, your skin becomes thinner and drier. A good moisturizer can usually help to repair dry skin. Eczema Eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is the most common cause of skin rash in children. The WHO states that eczema affects 1 in 5 infants but only 1 in 50 adults. The cause has been linked to leakiness of the skin barrier. This causes the area to dry out, putting it at risk of irritation and inflammation. It is important to keep the skin moisturized. Eczema often improves over time. People with eczema have to be careful, however, as they are more vulnerable to skin infections. Allergies Irritation and allergic reactions can also cause itchy skin. Allergic contact dermatitis occurs when the skin comes into direct contact with an allergen. An allergic reaction can cause an itchy skin rash. The result of the skin allergy is a red, itchy rash that can include small blisters or bumps. The rash arises whenever your skin comes in contact with the allergen, a substance that the immune system attacks. Often, there is a time delay between exposure to the allergen and when the rash occurs. Allergic reactions can be triggered by touching clothing, pets, chemicals, soaps, and substances such as poison ivy or cosmetics. Food allergies can also cause the skin to itch. Nickel allergies are quite common. When you come into contact with jewelry that contains even a small amount of nickel, they can develop red, bumpy, itchy, and swollen skin at the point of contact. If you have an allergic reaction to a particular substance, one of the easiest things to do is to avoid that product or substance. Over-the-counter creams or medicated creams can help to clear up a rash. Infections Itching can also be related to parasites such as threadworms, insects such as bedbugs, mosquitoes, or lice. Fungal infections such as athlete's foot can also cause itching between and around the toes. Home remedies The following home remedies may help reduce itching: # Using a high-quality moisturizing cream on the skin and applying it at least once or twice each day. # Applying an anti-itch cream, such as nonprescription hydrocortisone cream, to the area to help relieve the itching. # Applying a cool, wet compress to the affected area. # Taking a lukewarm bath. # Choosing mild soaps without dyes or perfumes and using mild or unscented laundry detergent when washing. # Avoiding substances that irritate the skin or cause an allergic reaction such as nickel, jewelry, and wool. Perhaps the most important self-care measure is to avoid scratching. Scratching can ultimately lead to further inflammation and damage to the skin and can worsen the itching. If over-the-counter creams do not work, if a rash spreads, or if you experiences additional symptoms beyond itching, you should see a physician or skin specialist to identify the cause and treat the particular problem. http://www.healththismoment.com/2018/03/why-your-skin-itches-and-remedies.html?m=1

Your ears are remarkable, complex and finely-tuned systems that allow you to hear our world. Perhaps, some of you will already be familiar with these facts but a refresher course is always good – not just for knowledge but also for fun! 1. Let us start with something that everyone knows. Ears are organs designated for hearing. But, did you know that there is a limit till which ears will behave properly. The moment a sound exceeds the natural hearing limit, our ears will buzz! How about asking your friend to shout at his or her highest possible volume right into your ears? The result will be buzzzzzzzzzzzz or constant ringing in both ears. 2. Youur ear has 3 bones which are so small that they can be placed together on a penny. These three bones are called stapes, malleus and incus. Fancy names, huh? Well, the first fellow, i.e. stapes is the smallest of these three bones. 3. The inner ear is the circumference of a pencil eraser. 4. Your sense of hearing depends on tiny hairs deep inside your ear. If you lose these hairs, you lose your hearing. Ears Have More than 20,000 Hair Cells 5. You do not need to clean wax out of your ears unless you have an abnormal condition. Ears push excess wax out as needed. 6. Most individuals experiencing hearing loss are under the age of 65. 7. The number one cause of hearing loss is exposure to excessively loud sounds (85 decibels or higher). 8. Your hearing can be damaged permanently even after a single exposure to extremely loud noise (shotgun blast, explosion, etc.). 9. Your ears never stop hearing, even when you sleep. Your brain just ignores incoming sounds. 10. Your ears are more than just necessary for hearing; they also help you keep your balance when in motion or during movement. 11. Not all living creatures hear with ears. Snakes use jawbones, fish respond to pressure changes, and male mosquitoes use antennae. 12. Congestion in the nasal passages can affect the ear fluids and sensors, which can make you feel dizzy. 13. Ears Can Influence Taste. Your ear does not play a major role in your sense of taste the way your sense of smell does. But because nerves pass through your middle ear enroute from the tongue to the brain, the ear can influence taste. Some people who have had ear surgery or who have ear infections complain that their sense of taste has changed. Parenting isn't an easy and breezy job, it's mostly about making tough decisions and difficult choices. And knowing this, most parents firmly believe that their way is the "right" way, and anyone who falls outside of those bounds is a hot ass mess. I am not a firm believer in the right of every parent to get through the trenches in the best ways they know how, so it would be best to know some parenting 101 tips, so that rather than hiding your so-called parenting flaws, you can work on them. Here are all the ways society would definitely say you are totally screwing your kid's up for life. 1) You rely too much on screen time. For some reason completely unknown, most kids keep their attention glued to a mobile phone, video game, or TV for hours -- you as a parents should not let this be so. As shameful as it is to admit, You rely on their love of video games to keep them occupied when you need to get work done, cook dinner, or even have an adult conversation without a wily 2-year-old butting in every 3 seconds. Unfortunately, your "lazy" little parenting hack is generally not recommended by the experts and could end up with him resenting you for not spending every waking hour of his childhood interacting with him. 2) Your kid goes to bed way too late. Most parents would admit that they are a "late" family. You and your partner do chores late, cook dinner late, and go to bed late. And since your kid isn't in school or daycare yet, he is no exception. Most nights, it's nearing 11 pm before you get them down to bed. Child psychologists are peetty sure this lack of structure is going to bite both of you in the a** someday. 3) You probably won't "give" him a sibling. You are like..... you don't have any plans to have another baby, so unless something major happens to completely change your mind, your kid will probably be an only child. This is selfish. Apparently, if your child doesn't have any siblings, he'll be a sad, lonely little hermit who will grow to hate you for subjecting him to a life without companionship. Don't follow these parenting 101 tip? If you are taking that chance! 4) You are not strict about food. As a parent, you might say is not like we're eating caked topped with pizza for dinner every night. But parenting 101 tip for you, your child should always gets his daily dose of fruits and veggies and also you must rarely order takeout. But if you have no interest in forcing yourself or your kids to eat those fruits, vegetables and green juice, you can definitely have potato chips in our pantry, enjoy a chocolate chip cookie (or two) from time to time. Surely, this level of childhood debauchery is going to lead your kids down a path of constant health problems later in life, right??! Meh. 5) You don't ALWAYS put your kid first. While you may always make sure your child has everything he needs, you definitely don't always put him first. Sometimes you know he wants to go to the park on a day when it'll be particularly crowded but you don't take him because your anxiety just can't handle it. Sometimes, he has a tummy ache but you leave him with the sitter and go to work anyway. And that makes you a bad parent. Maybe he'll turn to a life of crime because you leave him with grandma for date night every Tuesday instead of bringing him along. Or maybe this is just reality, and we should give parents a break. Your pick. 6) You have no idea what you are doing. No, seriously. You have no idea. Pretty much everything you do is some variation of "winging it." Even with all the parenting books and all of the advice, you still get pretty lost sometimes. Fortunately, you might have come to realize that everyone else is pretty much in the exact same boat, even if they don't want to admit it. And that's perfectly okay. It doesn't matter if we're too busy to put handwritten notes in our kids' lunchboxes every day or we let them stay up way too late. We're all just doing our best, and the only thing that really matters is how much love we have for our kids.
