The separation between former YBNL artist, Lil Kesh and YBNL
boss Olamide has been the talk of the town and not going down well with their fans.

After revealing plans to float his own record label ‘YAGI’, Lil Kesh made up his mind not to renew his contract with YBNL and Olamide
seems to be happy with his decision. In
confirming his exit from YBNL, both artists took
to their Instagram handle to bid final farewell to each other and also to clear the air on ongoing rift between both parties.

However, according to
Naijaloaded, Lil Kesh was reported to be dumping YBNL by May ending if he does not renew his contract with
the record label, which was the main reason
many disclosed that Olamide has refused to shoot the video of
Kesh’s new singles.

Relating to this new

Ibrahim Babangida, former head of state, has finally broken silence about his illness.

He was speaking with some reporters on April
24, Sunday, in his home in Minna, the Niger state capital.

Several days ago reports emerged that IBB,as many would call him, was seriously ill
and disable.

Former military president debunking the
rumours said: “It is true I have minimised my appearance at public functions because of my ill health, but not to
the level of incapacitation as being widely circulated in
some media.”

“For me, it doesn’t shock me neither
bother me because I know I must go and
meet God my Creator,” he added. “There is nothing really to worry about, my religion has told me.

“Well, as a Muslim I strongly believe everybody will die.

“Everybody will die and
everybody has to die.

“It could be now or in 100 years time or two days to come.
“But it doesn’t matter.
“Everybody must die.
“You can see me attending to people, after which we all go in
for our lunch and have our prayers before I retire for my siesta.
“I am not incapacitated.
“Nobody is above sickness or death because nobody is above what God has destined.
“Everybody will fall sick or will die or either of their relations must
die.”

IBB further added that the future of Nigeria is
bright and the dreams of Nigerians to declare their independence
was worthwhile.

“I still believe very strongly in this country,
which is further demonstrated by the people of these great
nation because they are very industrious
people, hardworking,” former head of state added.



“That gives me the hope for Nigeria.”
Babngida also disclosed that the injury received in his right leg as a result of the piercing of a bullet during the Civil War has been with him
for quite sometime and its regular relapsing is an expected phenomenon.

“When I was the president of the country, I had to travel to Germany where the sickness was diagnosed as Radiculopathy, which has troubled me since
and as such relapses,” he said.

In 2014 Babangida spent two months
receiving treatment in
Germany and there were many rumours that he wouldn’t return
Nigeria. Muhammed
Babangida, his son, has recently confirmed his
father’s illness, saying that IBB underwent
surgery and is recovering.

The illness of ex-president became public when he attended the
valedictory dinner for Justice Fati Lami Abubakar, the former Niger state chief judge,
and was helped out of the event before the end.

Plateau police have apprehended seven suspected Fulani herdsmen along Riyom/Ganawuri road
in Plateau State.

The arrest was made by the Special Anti-robbery Squad of the Nigerian Police Force during a stop and search operation on the highway.

The arrest was disclosed to reporters by the Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Adekunle Oladunjoye, during a briefing on the
command’s activities in Jos.

Mr Oladujoye said that 504 rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition, four
locally constructed AK47 butts and other incriminating items were found on the suspects during the operation.

He hinted that the Police also nabbed a syndicate known as ‘Sarasuka’, who specialised in molesting residents around the new stadium within the Jos metropolis.

The Police Commissioner appealed to the public to help complement the efforts of the security agents in combating crimes and criminal activities in the north-central state.

He asked them to help provide useful information on activities of criminal elements and their probable hideouts within their communities, in order
to ensure guaranteed
security of lives and
property in the state.

Unconfirmed reports have it that Minister for Petroleum Dr Ibe Kachikwu has been replaced as the
GMD of NNPC.

According to Business
Day, his position has been taken over by Maikanti Baru.

Kachikwu will however retain his position as Minister of State for petroleum.

His replacement may not be unconnected to the lingering fuel scarcity which has continued to torment the nation.

the NNPC has described as “completely false” the widely circulated
report that Kachikwu, has been relieved of his job by President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to the report, the Minister of State for Petroleum is still carrying out his duties as assigned to him by the president.

Mohammed, the group general manager, public affairs division of the NNPC, said the news is untrue.

Mohammed said: “The
story is completely false. It should be ignored by all Nigerians.

Students reportedly sentenced to two months for hawking fuel & constituting a nuisance in Abuja

A male student and
his female partner have been sentenced to two months imprisonment, each, by an Abuja Grade 1 Area Court for hawking fuel in a jerry can along Abuja-Kubwa
expressway, an act which constitutes an
embarrassment to the Government.

According to the prosecutor, a team of police officers apprehended & arrested the accused, bringing
them to the police station with 55 litres of fuel in their possession.

They publicly hawked fuel in front of NIPCO filling station, along Kubwa expressway, having known that the
practice has been prohibited within the FCT.

According to Daily Trust, Eze Onyedikachi and Omowunmi Job were convicted for
perpetuating nuisance, an offence that contradicts section 199 of the Penal Code. They
pleaded guilty to the
charges against them and were sentenced to two months
imprisonment each, by Judge Mohammed Marafa, with an option of paying N2,000 fine each.

A husband and wife
have been found dead in their apartment after
eating breakfast in Ondo State.

The incident has left many people in shock as to how it happened.

It was gathered that the couple identified as Mr and Mrs Femi Oguntuase were found dead in their apartment after their breakfast meal in their residence
located at New Site at Oba -Ile in Akure North local government area of the state.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Femi Joseph, who
explained that his men have not been able to establish the cause of the couple's death, said no arrest had been made.

Giving more details, he revealed that the body of the husband was found n*ked on the floor, while his wife, Modupe was in a wrapper with a bottle of palm oil found beside the couple. The bodies
were found by a neighbour.

Another resident of the area who identified herself as Salewa, said the couple were seen in
the morning of the fateful day hale hearty, but the neighbours were surprised to learn
about the ugly development in the afternoon.

It was gathered that some bowl of pap and beans cake were seen beside the deceased which showed that they died after taking
their breakfast.

"We saw the husband in the morning greeting
everybody but we were surprised to hear about their death in the
afternoon." a resident said.

She said that palm oil was found inside the deceased's mouths which indicated that they might have eaten
food poison and drank palm oil as antidote to suppress the poison.

"We saw palm oil in their mouths, it may be when they were having stomach pain that they drank the palm oil. We also discovered that the death happened
after their breakfast."

The PPRO however said: "We got the report of the incident on Saturday and we are still investigating to get the cause of the death. The bodies have been
deposited at the hospital for autopsy,
it is after the autopsy that we will know the next step to take."

The Peoples Democratic Party in Edo state has stated that Governor Adams Oshiomhole illegally extended the tenure of local government chairmen in the state.

In a statement issued by Chris Osa Nehikhare,
PDP publicity secretary in the state the extension constitute an
illegal caretaker committee.

“You will recall that on March 24 2016, Edo PDP
issued its first in a series of statements calling on Governor Adams Oshiomhole not
to illegally extend the tenure of the council chairmen in the state.

“Yesterday, the Edo State House of Assembly has
passed a resolution and
directed the council chairmen to prepare their handover notes and that they should handover on the 21st of April, 2016 to the HOS in the councils. This has become imperative as the members of EDHA and the peace loving people of Edo State saw no sign of the state government led by Governor Adams
Oshiomhole preparing
for elections that would
lead to democratically
elected council chairmen
and councillors in the
various councils.

PDP then lauded the Assembly for their stance. “Edo PDP acknowledges the Edo
State House of Assembly for acting in
the interest of democracy and the
people of Edo State and
having the courage to
pass a just and sound
resolution regarding the local government councils.

“With the order for the
council chairmen to
handover to the council
HOS, it is clear that
EDHA wants to be on
the right side of the law as the issues of illegally extending the tenure of council chairmen and handing over to an illegal transition or caretaker
committee are laid to
rest. We use this opportunity to advice the governor to shred the list of caretaker committee members
which he had unilaterally prepared.

“As a party, we have consistently warned
against tenure elongation and imposition of caretaker
committees for the local government councils. We believe that the local government councils should be run by democratically elected officials for the period for which they were elected.”
