‎This week's episode of phantom lawyer was boring. well not exactly boring, just that the cases were less intense than the previous cases. as far as I'm concerned nahyun's issue with her parents was literally a non issue. so all she needed was for them to say it wasn't her fault, that's it? the end? lol if it was that simple why did she spend so many years avoiding them 🤷 the way it was easily resolved was weak to me. I Think the main purpose of that episode was just to make her believe shin I rang's ability to see ghosts. it would have been more fun to watch if her sister's death was actually a criminal case and not just a sad accident but then again not everyone dies cos someone purposely murdered them so I understand it, it's just more interesting when there's a crime to solve. like the shoe episode was also boring but towards the end when it was revealed someone lied and reported the north Korean lady, it became more intriguing to watch. the sad part is I'm pretty sure it will turn out that the shoemaker actually loved his wife and was probably making that shoe for her but she and her stupid jealousy thought he liked the north Korean and went to report her tsk tsk if I were her I honestly would not be able to live with myself lol the fact that it wasn't even money or business matters that made her betray her friend but man matter mtcheww I'm pissed 🤣

I wonder if mad concrete dreams will be 12 or 14 episodes. If it's 12, that means it ends next week but if it's 14 then we still have 2 more weeks. I really hope it ends next week and they don't drag it out. It's better for a drama to end when the story still makes sense. If I had my way, I'll end it at episode 10 but whatever. I guess all that's left is to catch shim Eun kyung's character next week. Probably.

As for bullying dramas, I may not like them generally, but I really loved and enjoyed Study Group. Excitedly waiting for season 2. So she may act another drama about arranged marriage or another genre that I like but I still won't watch except she is paired with an actor that I really like.

What can I say? There's no drama airing at the moment that's good enough for me. I look at the genre, the cast, and the synopsis. I try to find sth to pick my interest. I end up with nth. If it's action I want - bloodhound is there. I've downloaded it but still can't bring myself to play it. Why? I don't know. Maybe I'm experiencing slump in dramas. I don't know... I can't tell. Hopefully I find sth to lift me up.

Season 1 started great but the last few episodes were terrible and I don't think they'll actually continue the story in like a linear fashion so I think you can just jump straight into season 2

Netflix has released the teaser for bloodhounds 2. It's looking very fighty fighty🤣 and I just know I am going to hate the hell out of rain oppa in his villain role. Hopefully the writing is better this time. I can excuse the mess season 1 turned out to be because Kim sae ron had her scandal and had to be written out. Here's hoping this one is better executed and none of the cast suddenly gets into a scandal 😩

I suppose I could just dive right into watching it without feeling the need to go back and view season one to catch up on the plot and character developments. What are your thoughts on this approach? It's among one of the upcoming dramas already in watchlist.

I'm not watching any drama at the moment. Only Hollywood movies 😤

I always had my suspicions about the male lead's dad immediately he came into the scene. I also vividly remember that the older brother received a text message about the dad and was really worried, worried enough to call the younger brother that he had abandoned. I am sure that the story for why he left his brother for years will be that he was protecting him 😏. And he couldn't tell him 'why' when they met as adults. Anyway, let's see how next week's episodes will be.

Love Phobia

I know I have trust issues but tell me why I think the female lead's friend/business manager will stab her in the back. She just has this "I will betray you if you leave me for another person" face. If she doesn't, it will be nice.


In Your Radiant Season

I was confused in the first episode:

-the female lead was there when the explosion took place, how did the boyfriend's sister in Korea get the news of his 'death' so fast?

-since she was already there, even if she got a call that he was dead, why didn't she search for his body to see for herself?

- did she lose her memory, how come she can't recognise her boyfriend?

-did he change his surname, how come she didn't recognise the name?

Luckily, all the questions were answered in episode 1. Thank God for that.

Apparently, she was dating an idiot. Thinking about it, I would say that she was dating the male lead but just didn't know it. Almost all her communications were with him, he bought her the gift she so much cherish ( wait o, this pen no day finish? Over 7 years and it's still working. Abeg o), even her first I Love You was to him.
I love the drama. So far so good. Looking forward to the next episodes.

One question though, did he switch careers? Thought he was working in NASA or something before the accident but he's now into arts.

Sarang60 is reported doing just fine. RaphaellaDD is hopefully doing fine as well. Ageing is gradually taking away our favorite hobby leaving us with little or no appetite.

You noticed it too ba. Thought I was alone in this. Gone are those days when a drama title alone is enough to pick your interest. Today you read plot, synopsis, reviews o, previews o... You even join it with teasers and trailers. Yet you still not find that one drama good enough to make you really wanna go crazy. Such a shame!

2026 is up and running and I've only watched two dramas this year. One was released in 2025 while the other in 2026. One a historical drama while the other a psychological romance. You can pretty much guess the dramas 😉

I need recommendations abeg though I'm eyeing 'To my beloved thief and the art of Sarah's. But I don't know if I'll end up going for it. Mannnnnn! I need a proper drama 😭😭😭😭
