P.s: I didn't say judge from hell was boring, I said it was semi boring meaning it has it's good parts (which is her punishing the villains) and it's boring parts which is literally everything else in the drama don't even get me started on those 2 in the judge's office who are always having lunch and are supposed to be some sort of comic relief? Literally nothing they do or say is funny to me or is it the big policeman with the satori, he's like a caricature of all policemen in every drama. They spent years not telling us anything about the real Kang bitna, or why that ahjussi and his son were hellbent on the redevelopment of that area. They literally waited till episode 12 before we got any insight on that. There have been many dramas that take time to reveal things but they at least tease you with ideas, this one nothing like that just straight up "I divorced your son but I can always enter your house and you smile and do whatever I like while your other son hides from me🤷" also I think it's weak writing for arong to not even attempt to kill justitia just cos she's a fan, it's literally her job to kill demons with human feelings, she mercilessly killed the volunteer worker guy but when it comes to justitia she's suddenly some sort of angel? Just like that?

Finally someone spoke my mind. Sorry for digging in an old post. I started 'the Judge from Hell' while waiting for 'good boy' to finish airing. First thought after struggling to watch ep 1 & 2 led me to revisit mydramlist website to check maybe I missed something or I was completely deceived or carried away by the high rating. It must be the latter. Cause I don't know how I'll manage to keep watching to the very end. First, it's boring and somehow some scenes are repetitive. As a last resort, I say lemme read @Kang's review, since you usually drop review progressively. I searched here on nairaland. I saw all the ratings and hype until I got to your post. Truth is you said it all in this very post. I need not tag your other previous reviews because it seems nth changed in the drama. Nth impressive at all! Well I've already downloaded all of it. So I'm gonna keep watching it but this time around with lesser enthusiasm. I'm not gonna invest myself too much in it. I still don't know how it managed to match up with impressive dramas like the goblin, It's okay not to be okay, crash landing on you, etc.

😀. I remember the plot and all and I know that she stabbed him even when he knew she was been controlled and would kill him. He died and was burnt but survived. I just want to refresh my memory in other aspects. May God help me. In my attempt enjoy myself while watching it, I left it for too long.

If you eventually want to give sageuk another chance, just start with Alchemy Of Souls. I just remembered now that that's another drama that I downloaded but haven't watched. The season 2. As it is now, I have forgotten how the season 1 ended so I will have to do a refresher inorder to understand the season 2. 🤦

How can you even forget how season 1 of alchemy of souls ended? That last scene scarred me for life. I still remember the narration of season 1 in s02e01

Normally when I watch the first episode of a drama series, I know if I will love,enjoy,manage or discontinue it. If it's a drama that I will love because the first episode was really good, I will decide to binge the rest. I just download all episodes as they are released weekly and watch when it ends. In fact, I have the ones that I downloaded for same reason and haven't seen till date. Eg, One The Woman, Business Proposal, etc. I still have them saved to watch later. They are a few however, that I really loved but have not been able the stop watching to binge later....Knight Flower, Study Group, When The Phone Rings and Head Over Heels. But unlike other dramas that I watch and delete, I don't delete these one. They are saved in my flash drive.

I can definitely relate to your experience. Recently, I was chatting with someone new to Korean dramas, and our conversation naturally veered towards discussing some of the popular dramas of the year. One of the series we talked about was "Study Group," which they hadn't seen yet. I confidently told them not to worry because I had a copy saved on my flash drive. To my dismay, I later discovered that I had actually stored it on a different device that I no longer had. I felt bad about disappointing them, but despite this mishap, "Study Group" remains my top favorite drama for the first half of the year.

Interestingly, I had downloaded "Vincenzo" late last year at a time when there weren’t any new dramas captivating enough to catch my interest. Despite all the buzz around it, I downloaded it with some reluctance, and even after doing so, still couldn’t find the motivation to start watching. The situation wasn't helped by the frequent power outages from NEPA and other distractions. Then, unexpectedly, a break period came along that turned into an impromptu holiday, and I found myself extremely bored. It was around April or May, nearly four months later, that I finally decided to give "Vincenzo" a shot. To my surprise, I thoroughly enjoyed it and was kicking myself for having postponed watching it for so long. I still have it on my phone and have watched it about four to five times since then. Such dramas, along with favorites like "Business Proposal," are perfect for lifting your spirits whenever you need a mood boost.

I don't know a lot about medical laws and stuff but on this Lee si young's pregnancy matter. At first I was happy for her and all but after thinking about it, I've been wondering if what she has done is ethically right or if the husband can even sue her. Sure I get that it's her egg but it's also his sperm. Can she really take it without his consent. I mean he did say he wanted it destroyed. Did the hospital even do the right thing by giving it to her? Maybe since she decided she would be fully responsible for it's upbringing, the man just decided to let her have it🤷 wo I don't know, I just hope it doesn't turn into any legal troubles for anyone later

I recently watched the movie 'Kpop: Demon Hunter' and was thoroughly impressed by how the Kpop phenomenon was portrayed within the drama. The artists captivated me by singing primarily in English, with subtle yet effective incorporations of Korean lyrics. Until now, I had assumed that songs originating from Korea would be exclusively in Korean, requiring subtitles for non-Korean speaking viewers to fully appreciate them, similar to the experience I have with original soundtracks from Korean dramas.

I was in for a movie but I ended up experiencing the beauty of Kpop. Should I enter the Kpop world or not? Well,

‎Now that I've caught up on the episodes of hunter with a scalpel, a lot of my questions have been answered. The only thing left now is the eunseo issue. I don't think she's a real person, I think she's an imaginary friend that seeun created to protect herself. I've watched a lot of police shows, I've watched a lot of useless police in dramas but I have to say all the police in this drama are the most incompetent I've ever seen in dramaland! tufiakwa please. from the maknae up to the male lead, the police chief, everybody, incompetent with a capital letter I. infact them being this close to solving the crime literally feels like it's happening just because the writer has to make the drama end and not because the police actually have the sense to solve the case🙄 the drama is interesting but the characters are frustrating as hell even the female lead. maybe it's a stereotype but I thought sociopaths were supposed to be smart, logical and extremely detached, this her own sociopath is way too emotional and that is why she has never been able to win over her dad. she's always attacking him without thinking properly and in the heat of emotion, or is it because he's family that's why she can't bring herself to be logical around him? or is it that the therapist she's seeing is actually helping and she's maybe just 3% sociopath? 🤣 cos I don't know why she's this dull. the drama ends next week, I'm pretty sure they'll be able to rescue that poor child due to the watch she stole. that her father is a serious psychopath tho, imagine adopting a child to raise to be a serial killer but las las his weakness is his daughter and she tried her best but she wasn't wise enough to use his weakness against him.

‎Lmao I was freaking out at the end of this week's episode of head over heels. I legit thought she would go through heaven and hell to get him to like her again, not only did he discover that she lied to him about being a shaman but he also caught her dancing with his worst enemy 😮 but thankfully from the teaser for next week's episode, sure he was hurt but he's definitely not going to totally cut her out of his life thank God. I like the drama, it's lovely and cute and I like learning about Dem shaman and their myths. I really really just hope they don't go the love triangle route cos uri 2nd male lead is already wanting to start to be annoying. you have been friends since jss1 or whatever, she has never said she likes you, she keeps gushing about another boy that she fell in love with at first sight and somehow you think you can suddenly coc((kblock my boy talmabout some I like her🙄 oga if you don't shift and go and find another person to love, he wants to be like Lee seunghyub in spring of youth 🙄 by the way here's hoping he doesn't get jealous enough to get possessed by a ghost or evil spirit. apparently he has a strong Qi so any ghost that manages to possess him must be a bada** wey fit kill uri male lead😩 here wondering if yeomhwa is gyeon u's birth mom or a shaman that was hired to cure him since childhood

‎Finally spring of youth has ended after 100 years of airing 1 episode per week 🙄 it would have felt less tiring to watch if they had aired 2 per week. lol I swear some of these drama writers should be ashamed of themselves cos look at how lame they ended the drama 🤣 bom suddenly disappears for 2 years and comes back a songwriter, sagye goes to the military lol just a bunch of lame a** tying of loose ends. finally we get Jung hae in cameo🥰 I really wish bom's aunty was at the scene when they confessed to the crime cos there was a lot of slapping that needed to be done. Dr Seo should have gotten 1 dirty slap and that stupid jina girl should have gotten 12 or 24 mtcheww I hate her guts. I really wanted to see the look on her face when it came out that her dad was responsible for bom's mother's death but alas cameraman was too busy focusing on the main leads (such an amateur). Drama people are funny sha when sagye discovered the truth and broke up with bom, she was crying upandan but when she found out the truth she really didn't want to see him, I'm like this is exactly why he broke up with you 🤣 what he thought you would do, you actually did it🤣 of course I know he went about it the wrong way and bla bla bla but still😂. I think it's really annoying that we never got to see the gang meeting jingu's rich father, hell they never even revealed that he was actually a rich kid. E be like say na SS1 pikin write this drama las las. anyway among all fnc idols that have acted as male leads ha yoo Joon is actually the best actor. he still has a long way to go but if he's this good at his first attempt, I see a bright acting future for him(that's if fnc will allow him act tho) the other fnc idols that have played lead roles have all been bleh in their first attempt and only got better with time well except for chani and he doesn't count cos he originally debuted as a child actor before joining fnc. I think ‎Dawon is another really good fnc idol actor he is actually better than ha yoo Joon but of course they've never cast him as lead in anything that's not a web drama and I don't want to compare web dramas with regular dramas so anyway ha yoo Joon for the win. now I just need fnc to relax on his diet cos poor baby looks like a stick tbh. omo ampersandone are really lucky, I think they're the only fnc group who are not on strict diet or maybe  they're just good at pretending they aren't on a diet🤷 anytime I watch them they're almost always eating something

‎Season 2 of bitchxrich is here💃💃💃 tbh I have zero expectations for it🤣 the writer ended season 1 in such a silly way that I don't even care if the season 2 ends up being good or bad. I'm just watching it cos I watched season 1 and for my babies and eye candies. sadly somang isn't going to be a part of season 2 🥺 they could have done interesting things with his character, he's one of the people fans are suspecting pushed oh si Eun from the roof, also he sorta kinda had a crush? on hye in but oh well, instead they said his parents exiled him to go study abroad and we get his younger brother sarang joining the school lol whatever he's a pretty baby, I almost thought he was a member of fnc's upcoming band, they look alike somehow even have the same hair. we also get my baby Kim min kyu so yayyy I guess if the drama ends up trash at least it was filled with beautiful faces🤷

Girls day minah and on Joo wan are getting married!! I'm so happy for them. He was the 2nd male lead in beautiful gongshim where she was female lead and at that time they even filmed a wedding scene 🤣 but of course he was dating Jo boah at that time but he and Jo boah broke up and I guess they moved on well cos Joe boah is currently married and on Joo wan started dating minah in 2021 after they reunited in a musical drama. I wonder if they had feelings for each other back in 2016 but didn't pursue it cos obviously he was in a relationship and she was busy being an idol or if the feelings started after they reunited. Anyway I'm happy everyone is happy. At least nobody cheated on anybody (me side eyeing Lee dong gun🙄). Sojin got married last year, minah is doing her own. Remain yura and hyeri and all of girls day will become married women day😂 they're the only girl group where I stan all members so I'm really happy for them and wish them all the happiness in the world

Lemme not lie. I've not yet watch hunter with a scalpel. I've not downloaded it self. I never still dey motivated. Even with your review I still no dey motivated. Truth is that I don't have the appetite for kdramas at the moment. I don't know why. I just pray and hope that sth comes up and spark my Spirit. One of which is the upcoming fantasy drama starring Park Huy Shik and Lee Min Ho's drama. I'm waiting for these two to air. Hopefully they make up sth to grace my screen.
