I was worried but I'm really glad they aren't doing any love triangle in this drama (you see writers, you can have a decent romcom without love triangles mtcheww). Eunho and siyeol trying to persuade uri 8 tailed fox (lol like what even is that) is like 2 divorced parents trying to convince their child to live with them. It was hilarious.

I hate love triangle. That's one reason why I ran away from Filipino and their telenovelas.

Look at how no one is saying anything cos they're actors dating but if it's an idol that is dating, netizens would have attacked them until they're forced to break up. I honestly don't know what started this rubbish of fans controlling idol dating lives but I really hope 2026 will be the end of people picking on idols personal lives.

So I got alot of time yesterday and today so I decided to watch can this love be translated. Firstly, I have missed Oppa so much that I will even watch him just smiling with that killer dimples. Frustrating script is not my best lately as I enjoy only comedy. It's nice to watch tho I didn't fast forward any scene

I came down here in the morning to write an epistle on how much I love the drama and GYJ and then suddenly my device went off and lost all progress. I just logged out and continued with my daily activities. The motivation and excitement... Gone! Lemme see if I can put down a summary

I remember writing I missed Kim Soo Hyun and my heart is already drifting towards GYJ. So KSH should better return to my screen as I don't want to find myself cheating on her with GYJ. And that I love CTLBT. The cinematography and acting is top-notch! Kudos to the stars involved. ML did well in mastering The art of translation. The only downside for me is in the second half run of the drama where there seem to be a drift from romcom to psychological thriller. Still the drama did not lose its charm. All in all, It's a good watch!

K-POP
Album exports are declining in Japan and China. Japanese local idols have emerged and are rising organically, and the local group that seemed unable to even compete with K-pop 3-4 years ago has emerged. K-pop's appearance in ‘NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen’ has levelled up the local idol's skills. However, the journalist predicted a rebound with the return of BTS and BLACKPINK this year.

K-DRAMA
The declining number of drama supply on OTT market indicates that there is no suitable purchaser of K-Drama other than Netflix and Disney+. The overseas purchase is not increasing proportionally, despite the increase in production costs. Though Netflix promised to purchase USD 600 mn worth of dramas annually for 3 years, due to increasing production cost, the number of episodes produced is decreasing to cover the production cost per episode.


K-MOVIE
Reaching its peak during "Parasite", k-movie is declining since COVID-19. With the domestic market fundamental collapse, production companies are losing the ability to reinvest, resulting in the slowing down of new film supply.

The 'Korean elements' that were once the exclusive domain of K-dramas and K-movies are already being assimilated within the American production systems of Hollywood and Netflix. While we cheered the Oscar trophy for the film 'Minari' and the eight Emmy wins for Netflix's black comedy 'BEEF', viewed within the context of K-content exports, this poses the challenge of the 'paradox of success'. This is because Korean sentiment is being deterritorialised, while production experience and profits are being appropriated overseas.

I'm seated for the Netflix's upcoming drama starring Kim Seon Ho and Go Youn Jung. Of course, I'm in for my swt hrt. The title itself is charming and captivating. Since it's Netflix, all episodes will be released at once. A good way to binge watch all. From the trailer, the drama looks promising. Nth much about. I know it'd be just a decent love story. This will be a good way to spark up my love life.

Ah! What went wrong 😭

I just finished watching "butterfly". It's not a Korean drama but has in it some Korean stars. The series is filmed in the context and settings of Korea. You'd love it for love of the Korean culture. The MVP in the drama for me is Kim Tae Hee. I missed her so much having seen her last in Forbidden love. Although she's featured in recent works in the likes of Welcome to Sam Dal Ri and Hi! Bye Mama but I'm yet to see it. From S01 cliffhanger, It seems we won't see her in the next season. It's not as if she was given that much of a screentime yet they wish to cut her off completely.

Overall, I enjoyed the series. If you don't mind American - Korean works, I'd recommend you give it a watch. Prepared to be entertained with the actions and thrilling moments. The series is pretty straightforward. No too many flashbacks or upsets. It's just about a man trying to get his estranged daughter back from a spy organization he once left. The show throws us into a cat and mice game where a hunter dreaded and feared becomes the prey without knowing it.

To KTR, never stop smiling. I wish you all the best in your next project

Why make a 6 episode mini series only to end it with that kind of massive cliffhanger... Rubbish.

Waiting on PlurIbus episode 3 and House of David S2 finale now. I'm the mean time I'll try and watch this Jensen Ackles* countdown series.

‎Spring fever is here. as far as I'm concerned, I already see it as another dynamite kiss. pretty sure even though it has started decent enough, the story will turn stupid towards the end 😩 or it might not, I mean it's an adaptation of a webtoon so the webtoon might be good 🤷 anyway love the cast. The over exaggeration of the male lead's power is pretty dumb 😅 but whatever. I like the cuteness from the high school students and the irony of the hotshot lawyer being a founding member of an older actress's fanclub lol cha Seo won is a cutie. watching cho Jun young act as a star student here after recently watching him as an olodo in spirit fingers is sending me. anyway here's hoping the drama doesn't get too boring as it goes on

Cashero is pretty decent. But... So many things to kick on. Like how they dwell so much on a particular scene as if waiting for some spectacular thing to happen. You guys are in a burning building. Christmas festivities took over. I literally had zero time to watch my dramas and shows but I still managed to watch cashero. Now I watched up to episode 4 and skipped through the rest just cos I really had to multitask a lot so my thoughts might not be accurate but I actually liked the drama. I mean for a superhero comedy drama, it's not the greatest but it had a lot of good things going for it. The cast is fantastic. Lee junho is such a good actor. I liked the drama humor especially his narrations. I love how his superpower is related to money cos it's actually very relatable to human life because truly if you're poor, do you have any power? Lol I love the names of the villain siblings jo Anna and Jo Nathan and it could also pass for Joanna and Jonathan lol. Thank God it's just 8 episodes but 6 should have been sufficient. At least it wasn't dragged out to 12 episodes. I hope someday I'll be able to make time to watch it properly.

I couldn't even be bothered to watch the last 2 episodes of dynamite kiss. I skipped through the whole thing. I swear some writers deserve to be arrested cos how do you start a drama so good and then halfway your writing turns garbage. There's the yeye breakup, her running away, him going to find her, they even brought in amnesia trope eww my goodness lol. At least I enjoyed kwak si Yang's cameo. I skipped so much, I don't even know what happened to the 2nd leads and I'm honestly not even interested. They really shouldn't have made his sister and her ex such villains. I think that might have saved the drama. Some of these writers need to realize we're over the chaebol siblings hating each other trope🙄 just look at Cinderella at 2am, the drama might not be the best but the fact that the siblings were so close was such a fresh take that a lot of people stayed with that drama just for that dynamic. These writers need to do better and stop giving talented actors and actresses rubbish storylines

Shouldn't the actors and actresses be flogged for accepting woke script? 🥱🥱🥱🥱

The genius of this movie is that when you rewatch it you won't be suprised he was right at the end again, you'll be able to pick up some tells from Emma Stone when she was still held captive and you'll enjoy it even more.

Nah! The ending was bleh and open ended. Like I said before I'm not asking for reunion in the strict sense. But what? An apology! She had dumped him because she really believed that he committed the crime; however, when it was announced that he was innocent, she could have at least come back just to see him. Not for them to get back together, just to apologize for not believing him or standing by him. But she was nowhere to be found. Maybe that's because she's currently too busy fighting crime in Taxi Driver 3. Lol.

I feel you! It’s always a mix of excitement and sadness when a group is about to disband. Zerobaseone really grew on me, and it’ll be interesting to see where everyone goes next. I can totally see Matthew or Kim Tae Rae debuting in another group, and Han Bin going solo makes a lot of sense too. Ji Woong focusing on acting sounds likely, and Zhanghao heading back to China seems natural. Whatever happens, I just hope they all find success and stay happy. Also, happy birthday to your biases—always fun to celebrate them!
