PoliticsRe: Again, The CCT Orders The Arrest Of Bukola Saraki by mickeymimi: 3:09pm On Sep 21, 2015
so
-he became Senate President by votes from PDP senators
-APC is fighting..they want that Senate Position back.
-case of give the dog a bad name before you hang it

He used both pdp and Apc to get to where he is now thinking Apc was stupid .
Saraki is bold, confident and knows what he's doing!! Can you point to any statement where Saraki denied the allegations? Saraki is drunk with power.

anyone facing criminal charges should not remain in public office. The least you get is suspension from office pending investigation.

Nawa oooh...drama everywhere....I'm following the story o

GEJ and Co knew Buhari was well qualified to run for presidency under the Nigeria constitution, that was why they didn't make any legal moves.
instead of campaigning for GEJ, they were busy looking for GMB's certificate, it's a pity .

The electorate made its choice and that’s final.
PoliticsRe: MASSOB Urges UN To Recognise State Of Biafra by mickeymimi: 12:08am On Apr 22, 2015
The reason why Igbo want biafra so bad is purely greed. yes, oil greed.

Nobody hate any Igbo man or woman but majority of them hate other tribes so passionately for some reasons best known to them. Oil! Oil that's loosing value by d day

what of if Niger-delta refuse to go with you or have you people forgot that Ondo state is part of south-west? Greed leads to no where but that path of destruction.

Do you go about begging the UN for actualisation?..What about referendum?? First arrange for referendum then when it's done you'll see the millions of igbos who will vote against this moves for hungry ppl..attention-seekers..They can't even tell their left from their right.May God grant this people their heart desire because this noise is too much let them go.
PoliticsRe: Meet Solomon Aranse, Police Inspector General (Acting) by mickeymimi: 9:13pm On Apr 21, 2015
so it is now that Jona would now begin to hunt who performed below expectation? He should have sacked Abba last year when he disrespected the constitution of the land and disrespected our honorable house and would refused to recognized our speaker. Then Jonathan would have been a good leader or hero but it's too late now. It's absolute rubbish, when he has few days to leave the office.
PoliticsRe: Do Not Expect A Miracle From Me - Buhari Warn Nigerians by mickeymimi: 11:07am On Apr 21, 2015
If you are angry at Buhari who is just a president-elect, what will you do when he sworn in? Please give him a chance ,it is too early to complain.

Buhari is been sincere here is only a fool will be expecting miracle, when all sector in nigeria are almost dead . Who in his right senses would expect that within a short time Buhari's administration would undo the damages of all these years?

We are talking unemployment in double digit, decaying infrastructure, economy in the tank, epileptic and sometimes non-existent power supply, insecurity etc. We haven't even mentioned corruption in astronomic proportions!

The man is only being honest, the kind of honesty that has been lacking in Nigeria, especially in this outgoing administration, and the kind of honesty that you also obviously lack.

Buhari appealed to Nigerians not to expect instant miracles from his government to fix all the problems facing the country, but to be patient and supportive, saying he will need enough time to address the Boko Haram insurgency in the North-east and other challenges confronting the nation.

Didn't Jonathan make many promises as candidate in 2011 in order to win votes? How many of them did he fulfil? I guess that makes him a hypocrite too.

Buhari hasn't even been sworn in yet!

It's not too much to ask for na, Rome was not built in a day. You need to stop whining and broaden your mind .

PoliticsRe: Jonathan & Buhari Set To Clash Over Proposed May 28 Handover Date by mickeymimi: 11:12am On Apr 18, 2015
GMB.. Dont fall for their tricks.. why should it be may28 all in the name of dinner or whatever. It is a trap!

MKO Abiola treatment comes to mind or plot for the people in Jonathan's team to be able to escape Nigeria

Jonathan’s decision to formally handover to President-elect Muhammadu Buhari on May 28 will create a power vacuum for a few hours between the period he hands over and the morning of May 29 when his successor will be formally sworn-in as the president.

As far as the law is concerned, President Jonathan is in charge of the country until May 29. He cannot cut short his presidency in the name of handing over the day before at a dinner, as there is no provision for a vacuum.

He is the president till the morning of May 29 when Buhari takes the oath of office.

It was only God that saved us from PDP and Orubebe trap during Inec declaration of result, now another way of spoiling thing for masses.

A man that spent trillions on campaign was in no way tired of being in power.

No to dinner!

PoliticsRe: Why I Conceded Defeat To Buhari – Jonathan by mickeymimi: 10:13pm On Apr 16, 2015
Jonathan: In cage for 16 years, yet desperate for 4 years more. Now that he conceded to the winner , which he signed under the watch of the whole world , he has become an hero to a fool . If he has recoiled from that agreement, you would have been appealing to ICC Hague by now.

Mr Jonathan said, he was in a cage for 16 years, even when he was travelling and globe-trotting in 10 different Presidential Jets, budgeting N1 million for food per month and as well, forcefully grabbing people's and public lands in Abuja and other places for personal and family uses.

he was in a cage for 16 years, including braking of his promise of ONE-term presidency and as well, forcing himself on his party, as a sole candidate for 2015 Presidential election.

he was in a cage when he walk-away with several $Billions of tax-payers funds, he and his ministers had stolen.

I don't think Nigerians need the advice of Goodluck Jonathan who couldn't advise himself when he was in power. GEJ should keep his "message of sacrifice" to himself.

is he is telling Nigerians that he made sacrifice for Buhari government to succeed.

How can GEJ spent billions to remain in this "cage" even when it was glaring that Nigerians does not want him remaining in that "cage" further?

Who is responsible for 13-15 thousands killed & Chibok girls disappeared for 12 months under his watch . Even in his own otuoke, things are not better than those in the far north. He was a failure.

it is the failure of Gej government that brought about the clamour for change. All we need to do is to join hand with Buhari government and move the country to were it opt to be..
PoliticsRe: Why I Conceded Defeat To Buhari – Jonathan by mickeymimi: 9:31pm On Apr 16, 2015
Jonathan was forced by Western powers to concede and call GMB or else they were ready to whisk him to ICC i . Does he have a choice??!!

When he has signed peace accord plus the international eye is on him..A Peace Treaty…Non- Violence Pact was signed…. on two occasions- Before Feb 14 and March 28. So given the calibre of statesmen (Abubakar Abdulsami and co) and tension involved in the signing process, his ‘unaccepting’ a defeat peacefully could/would have been at HIS detriment. as if he didn’t try to rig the elections...what will he have done before. Put Aso rock on lock down? he is not a saint. don’t body should tell me he did not try to rig the election it just didn’t work for him.

What JONATHAN did (bowing out ‘peacefully’) is/was Sensible, Not Heroic. A hero for doing what he’s naturally supposed to do without being forced? We celebrate mediocrity and/or norms in this country. Then everybody is hero for every sane decision they’ve ever made. The truth is Jonathan had no choice.

What broke his camel’s back are 4 things-Card reader, PVC, Jega and Media. The last and fast card he played was to accept and concede to gain you people’s sympathy. He did all he could, but na God win!

it is only in Nigeria that someone will fail as a governor, become vice president, president , steal lose and fail woefully and when he returns home he is celebrated as a hero.

Why are we so enslaved in our land? why do we defer to people who are meant to be accountable to us .what makes Nigerians to thank Jonathan for handing over a government he does not own.

Change is in progress. The igbos in Lagos need to be very careful more nowadays.

Lagos cannot afford to be in the opposition. As for Jimi, he should learn how to associate with the right people. Next time, I hope others will learn from you not play ethnic politics in Lagos. You have just extinguished your political career in Yoruba land.

All thosePDP Election appeal lawyers will be so angry at GEJ for the new trend that he started.

i think you are suffering from orubebestic disease I am so sorry that this animosity runs high. You really feel aggrieved.Dialogue is more important than vituperation. With superior argument, devoid of malice, you can win over the other man.It seems the mind default of the Igbo online writers whenever an issue crops up is to blame others first (regardless of the issue) before engaging the issue with a critical mindset. Their default set up is never to first engage an issue critically to see if they contribute to the problem.

No one hates the Igbos but Igbos, Hatred and tribalism is what's killing you igbo people. You focus too much on the
wrong things and worry too much about other people and not your own ibo land and your worthless and incompetent leaders. Now I see why a section of the country is doing all it could expell ur people from their region, having observed your treachery towards the Yorubas who have been most hospitable to the Igbos.

I suspect that if an analysis was conducted, most of the abuse from Igbos emanates from the core Igbo states, from folks who have rarely had individual contact with the Yorubas.
PoliticsRe: I’ll Accept Defeat In Good Faith ─ Agbaje by mickeymimi: 3:10am On Apr 12, 2015
Ambode seems more sincere than this man. Jimi wants to lead Lagos a very complex and multi ethnic state and he his segregating one ethnic group from the others. We haven’t voted and he is already showing his true colors. This man is for himself, he is not for Lagosians. He claims he wants to rule a state and he sends out OPC to destroy the state’s public property.

PDP shamelessly dividing people for elections sake. They tried with religion in the Presidential election, now they are using tribal division for the gubernatorial election.

Watching the video carefully reveals that the atmosphere was a cordial one. Nigerians should not take the unfortunate utterances seriously. The Oba said what he said in a spirit of brotherhood and not of condescending hatred. For anybody who is conversant with Isale Eko culture, that way of speaking is often done without serious intent. What he said and the manner he said it is essentially how Obas express their authority in words.
The message was that the land does not like the idea of Jimi Agbaje, his friends and his party PDP.

in Lagos there are Hausa, Edo, Ijaw, Efik, Fulani, Ogoja, Nupe, Idoma, and others.
Why is it that Igbos are the only group that always have this problem with the indigenous people (Yorubas)?
I never heard of any altercation between Yorubas and any other group in Lagos or anywhere.
It is always the Igbos. Why? Are you the only "smart" group in Nigeria? No one hates the Igbos but Igbos.

Is the Presidency? still not satisfied with the number of lives lost in Rivers State?

what is all these noise about heroic act by jonathan. when he lost...., he was not suppose to accept ? yes he accepted defeat and congratulated the winner, like they do in civilised world. Jona fought a hard fight and wanted to win at all cost.

jonathan was forced by Western powers to concede and call GMB or else they were ready to whisk him to ICC . Does he have a choice??!! Reject the PDP and tell them that their 16 years of corruption, rape and robbery of Nigeria cannot continue unpunished. Nigeria already change for a new President.

Jonathan is a monumental failure to his own village and to south south. The East West road section running through Bayelsa is incomplete, the so called Yenagoa International airport is swampy bush with only a sign board at the road side to identify the bush area.

The basic necessities that Otuoke people need are water, road and electricity and they don't have it. Not even a presidential library in Otuoke. The man, called Jonathan, failed South south and he should not be celebrated or welcomed.

The United Nations report on environmental degradation due to oil, says that it will take up to 40 years to clean it up. Jonathan, shunned the report and started developing North to please them.

Nigeria doesnt need a condescending leader. We need someone that will be bold enough to step on toes. Someone that will cause a reform without fear or favour of anybody. We took upon us the choice for a change and we saw it happen. That is our happiness.
