Travel / I Need Holiday Destinations In West Africa by mickonzo112: 8:09pm On Sep 29, 2017
Hello Travelanders,

I'm hoping to take a one week holiday sometime in late November. I'd like to travel to one of the West African Countries and spend it there. My reason for picking a West African country is because I am on a tight budget. I don't have flight money at the moment lol. I have a budget of 100k (Accommodation, Transport, Food, any other spending). Which country will you advice I go to?

Science/Technology / What Does It Take To Start An ISP by mickonzo112: 2:25am On Mar 10, 2017
My cousin just came back from the states and with his constant complaints about how unreliable and expensive data is in Nigeria, we're thinking of becoming Internet Service Providers. To cut the long story short, we casually discussed it with a couple of family members and friends and they are willing to invest money in it if we can put together a good business plan/proposal.

The challenge is neither my cousin nor I are network engineers or know what it takes to set up an ISP especially in a country like Nigeria. I'd appreciate it you are kind enough to drop a few hints while I still conduct my search google.com
Programming / Can Anybody Recommend An E-learning Worpress Plugin by mickonzo112: 7:10am On Nov 23, 2016
I have a website running on wordpress already. We do some basic trainings. What I want is an E-learning plugin that would give access to study materials and videos for courses students have paid for. Also, students should be able to post questions and receive answers from instructor or fellow students.

I will appreciate if someone recommends one, Paid or free
Romance / Re: My Girlfriend Has Added Too Much Weight by mickonzo112: 6:32pm On Nov 15, 2016
I think our busy schedule and not seeing each other made her add too mich weight. If we were seeing often, I guessed I would have stopped her when I noticed she was going way over.

Let me not make excuses. This is totally my fault so I have to accept full responsibity for this and fix it.

To those who gave positive contributions, thank you. To those who couldn't do anything but insult me, I hope you feel good about yourself?

Romance / My Girlfriend Has Added Too Much Weight by mickonzo112: 12:28am On Nov 15, 2016
I think I have created a monster and now its coming round to bite me. I met my girlfriend sometime in 2012. Hoping to get married to her next year.

I've always been a lover of thick women especially those with big behind. For that single reason, a majority of my ex are either yoruba or from akwa ibom or cross river state. In 2012, I met my current girlfriend. She was slim. No big behind, average boobs. I never liked slim girls but her intelligence and personality drew me to her. Before I knew it I was asking her out. She finally agreed to date me and our relationship has been fantastic since then.

Sometime in 2014, she started adding weight, she wanted to start working out to burn out the fat but I refused. I told her how much I love her new size and wished she could add a little more flesh because I actually love thick girls. She insisted on working out and loosing weight, I refused. Instead I kept insisting she added a little more weight. Everybody in her family and her friends were yabbing her that she was becoming fat but I still insisted she added a little more weight. At least to Omotola's size. Even though she doesn't have Omotola's kind of booty, I'll be contented with having some flesh to hold on to when I cuddle.

Fast forward to 2015, she travelled to the US for her masters so the only way we could communicate was via phone calls and skype. She kept complaining that she was adding weight and that she wanted to subscribe to a weight loss plan but from the pics she sent to me. I felt she was ok n told her there was no need for that.

To cut the long story short, she'll be visiting Nigeria this December but the recent full photos she sent to me are not encouraging at all. She has added so much weight. She no longer looks as exciting to me as she used to be. For a girl with no behind and average boobs, the fat makes her look so shapeless. I dont know how to start telling her to loose weight now because I started this whole shiit. She'll be rounding up by May next year and when she comes back I'll want us to start making preparations for marriage but I don’t think I can cope with this her new size. I really love her and want to marry her.

How do I tell her to loose weight without hurting her feelings because she's very sensitive

Business / "Date Of Commencement Of Business" On CAC Form by mickonzo112: 1:55pm On Sep 28, 2016
I'm trying to register a business name online using the CAC online portal but I don't know what to fill in the "Date of Commencement of Business" field as the business has not started operating fully. All I have gotten is an office space and some furniture and won't kickstart fully till maybe November. Though I have used the business name to do a job for a friend in march this year. Please I need advice as to what date to fill. Should it be the date in march, today's date or the date I will start operations fully?
Phones / Re: Does The Lumia's Have Regional Locks? by mickonzo112: 12:24am On Dec 05, 2015
PhonePlanet:
You can buy it.

The lock he was talking about is "network lock" not regional locked since its now unlocked, you can use it on any network in the world. And there is nothing like regional lock, unless the manufacturer refuses to sell it in a particular region, but in this case, you are buying from a person, not manufacturer.

Okay. Thank you for the info
Phones / Does The Lumia's Have Regional Locks? by mickonzo112: 10:55pm On Dec 04, 2015
I'm trying to get a 2 weeks old used Microsoft Lumia 950 from Ebay but before I go ahead to pay for it, I need to know if I'd be able to use it here in Nigeria. According to the seller, he had one locked to ee that was damaged so he took it in for repair and they sent him a new phone (The Phone I wanna buy) which was then unlocked as they didn't know what network he was on.

Those saying beating a child doesn't correct the child are just wrong. Speaking for myself, if not for my dad's flogging only God knows what I would have become. My dad didn't flog with canes but wires. The fear of those wires made me conscious of everything I was doing. If you're not awake by 6am, the wire would wake u up. N it seemed like as d day goes by the pain increases. It really helped shape my life.

Romance / Re: Why Do Guys Cheat? by mickonzo112: 4:24pm On Feb 15, 2015
ronald4lif:
Methink cheating could be in humans DNA, only difference is men got little or no dignity to protect when it comes to sex and have a higher percentage of urges than women. Unlike women who got pride and respect to protect, hence they stick to mainly one man to preserve this dignity and pride.

Ask yourself how many times have you seen a girl wee wee on the side of the road, but we guys we can do it any where smiley

What's there to protect in a d1ck grin

My thoughts too
Romance / Why Do Guys Cheat? by mickonzo112: 4:07pm On Feb 15, 2015
Some friends (both guys and girls) and I had a serious argument this morning about this topic. The girls think cheating is in the DNA of all men and it takes a man with a lot of discipline not to cheat.

What really makes us cheat?

Phones / Re: Annoying Things People Do With Their Phones by mickonzo112: 2:29pm On Dec 31, 2013
sкчscrαρεr™:

- Leaving the house without carrying the phone along: I don't know why people do this but it's very annoying. I hate it when I call somebody continuously and they don't answer the phone, I always have this impression that the person was avoiding my call, and when the person eventually calls back the same silly excuse is: ''I was not with my phone when you were calling.'' It's called a phone for a reason not a remote-control.

How does ''I was not with my phone when you were calling.'' mean the person forgot his phone? There are times you'll be so busy, you won't even know where your phone is.

- Using a phone as bible: This particular one is not only annoying to man but God. It amazes me how some people feels comfortable using their phone/tablet as a means of reading the scriptures. Are they so lazy that they couldn't go to church with a bible? Apparently, some people go to church without a bible because after church is partying, and I suppose they don't wanna look like that christian-freak in a club. If you're that person doing this, please change because God is watching you in 3D.

Seems you are fond of doing this

- Photo obsession: I believe you'll agree with me that this one is mostly common amongst the ladies, everywhere they are, it automatically becomes a photo studio. i.e, toilet, kitchen, church, market, bedroom etc. A classy lady do not take 'selfies' everywhere like some depressed attention-seeker. That's why I like a guy's attitude, you can only find a guy changing his profile picture once in a blue moon, but ladies, it's anytime, everytime.

I hate this one. I know a guy who does this. Changes dp every 10mins

- Showing-off: For some reasons people think using big phones means they're in there but that philosophy is wrong. It's a good thing to use a smart-phone but it doesn't mean you're a big boy/girl. These days people from not-financially-stable families use even bigger phones, or so I say. It's funny seeing a lady using a phone worth 140k while her mother is in the village frying 'akara' beans cake. It's also annoying when I see someone change his/her phone whenever the brand him/her was using produces another version with just little differences. Some people have up to four smart phones and they make use of only one, what's now the need for the other three? Some people just need to swallow their pride and know that showing-off with a phone is annoying, silly and juvenine.

I will not totally agree with you on this. As much as I detest buying an expensive phone just to claim "big boy", there are people who are gadget freaks. My former colleague for example has used about 6 phones this year alone (Not exaggerating). Engadget is his browser homepage. He's one of the few people I trust their reviews

I've been trying to create an Xbox live account for months now. I keep getting an error. I've tried using both the Xbox live section under games and also using the browser but it still hasn't been successful. I get an 80154002 error code. How do I fix this?

Also, I can't upload pics using internet explorer and don't know why uc browser has refused to post topics here on nairaland. It always says "failed to open page"
Celebrities / Rivers State PMAN President "Lady IB" Messed Up CARNIRV Last Night by mickonzo112: 7:53am On Dec 18, 2013
A cousin dragged me to the Liberation stadium last night for the Rivers State Carnival (CARNIRIV). There was room for a lot of upcoming artiste to perform, as I didn't know, or have heard the songs of 70 percent of the people who performed last night. it also featured performances from Davido and Burna Boy.

Everything was going on fine and there was peace in the stadium until it was time for the PMAN president Lady IB to perform. As soon as she mounted the stage, she started shouting "Aromate", "Na we oh", "Na we dey here".

As soon as she said this, some people from the crowd where not too happy with this and they where booing her. Some started throwing bottles, pure water, shoes and other stuff at her. She then said "Una they stone me. Shey una know say we get our own when we dey throw too". Soon tension started heating up. Just after her performance, an upcoming act performed just before Davido climed the stage and as at when Davido was performing, there where different groups of people fighting in the stadium and all you could hear them shouting is "Aro". Even after the show, boys where still fighting ouside the stadium, bottles where broken and some people injured. Had to leave with my cousin before it turned into something else.

To think that someone who holds a position like that could come out to chant cult langua in such a public event is just depressing. Rivers state is already divided by a lot of conflicts already; and Lady IB shouldn't have divided the house more when youths have decided to come together as one to enjoy CARNIRIV.

Obviously, this is the worse CARNIRIV I've attended. A lot of mistakes and an MC that sounds and is as dry as Keke Ogungbe.

True talk OP. I benefited fro it too cos I practically converted my blackberry torch 3 to a wireless router using the hotspot to connect my other devices.

Insulting Airtel for discontinuing it means that our leaders have the right to loot us dry. The point I'm trying to make here is that for the fact that there is a loophole in the system doesn't mean we should use it 4 our personal satisfaction only. We are doing the same thing our leaders are doing but just on a different level.

I know a lot of people will disagree but it is the truth. The idiots amongst us can go ahead n insult me now grin

Business / Managing A Karaoke Bar by mickonzo112: 9:50pm On Mar 10, 2013
My uncle just opened his new hotel. Since after graduation, I've not really had something to do so I talked him into setting up a karaoke bar at the hotel and letting me manage it (the karaoke bar). Truth is, I've never managed a karaoke bar before but I have decided to give it my best shot and to make the best out of it. My major aim is to make sure that the karaoke bar becomes the major hot spot of the hotel and make money from it.

Please, I need honest advice on how to achieve this, the challenges I would face, and how to draw people to the bar. Thanks

Please don't just view and leave without contributing. I really need your contributions
