realme making it to top 5 already? That’s promising. I won’t be surprised to see them hit 3rd by end of the year
You mean Realme will displace Samsung 🤣🤣🤣? In your dreams.

This is a very delusional post
If realme is really that low, why are they beating redmi in sales?? Are you saying customers don't know what they want and what they're spending their money on??

do you know what the word feature phone means?

it is a dumb phone

like a nokia torchlight type phone

basically for making calls only
Thanks for enlightening me. But a feature phone for a sixteen-year-old doesn't sound right to me.

As a parent I would say buy your kid a feature phone. Seriously. There is way too much distraction because that is what they are designed for. Even worse is that I have literally seen a case where a friends daughter became for want of a better word, a thot. I am sure the girl has sent out risqué pictures.

There is a reason you now read of phones being banned in schools or pressure for laws against phone use by children

The YouTube algorithm is powerful and can take your kids down a weird path. Mixes their search with stuff you may not want them to see. Most boys like video games but look up enough on video game and you will be dragged into Andrew tate territory.
Are you saying even adults aren't dragged into Andrew tate territory too?
You mentioned a feature phone up there; are you saying the phone will prevent them from being dragged and iphones can't do otherwise?

Thanks for this comment because I could recall many folks who are parents now chided their own parents when the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, Nicholas D'Aloisio of Summly and other young Americans/Westerners started multi billion dollar tech companies during the mid-2000s to 2010s. The narrative was that these Americans/Westerners had access to devices at a young age, while they (children then) did not have. Today, the same people have become parents and are restricting mobile devices from their children, but expect the same children to out-compete Chinese kids and Westerners in creating the next big companies in technology.
Honestly bro; This mindset is one of the few reasons why we are where we are as a country. Some are even asking why the mum didn't buy her books instead 🤣, Imagine. All theory, no practical.

It's just a phone, bro. If her mum can afford it, it's no big deal. I honestly hate the perspective Nigerians have about this mobile device. It's just a damn phone, please.

Someone cannot be a graduate student without education.

Let's break it down. Being a moralist is different from being a child of God. You can be a moralist without being guided by religion. But to be a Child of God, you have to know God's principles through religious activities. Below are some of the clear differences.

A moralist will not condemn sex before marriage as long as the sex is consensual and involves only adults, especially if the parties have agreed to marry each other. A child of God will avoid premarital sex even with his fiancée or her fiance, he or she will wait until marriage.

A moralist will do good to fellow humans while lacking the concept of praying to and praising God. A child of God does good to humans and dedicates time to praises and prayers. And this is where worshiping in a congregation is compulsory.

A moralist will support execution of criminals, a child of God will not.

A moralist will want gay people to be killed or excommunicated. A child of God will condemn the act of gay but will not harm gay people, he or she will keep hoping for gay people to repent.

A moralist will support divorce if the marriage is not peaceful. A child of God will not support divorce but will advise for living apart. Living apart is different from divorce.

A moralist will revenge if repeatedly offended, a child of God will keep forgiving.
You said a lot but still didn't answer the question.

Can a man be a child of God without a church?

Okay. Noted. What’s your point?

Well, even though I am aware that school fees aren’t paid monthly, and I know that truly rich people don’t talk like this.

Let me go with your flow

What’s the idea behind coming online to brag about now much you pay for your daughter’s fees when you can clearly see how some people are screaming that they can barely eat?

What joy does it give you to make others feel like you are better off?

You clearly lack wisdom. It’s people like you that bring attacks to your poor wife and kids at home because your life’s worth is based on how others perceive you.

Life is but a breath, sir.

A man’s life doesn’t constitute of what he has. Stay humble. Even if you achieved what you have through hard work, encourage others not flaunt to them how much your daughter’s fees is. Completely unnecessary.
I wanted to comment on the post too but when I saw "monthly"; I just decided to scroll down. 👍

I am not saying it's a great salary...

It's fair.

But why do the guys above have to convert to dollar and pound like that's the currency spent in Nigeria!
That's the reality of Nigeria presently o. Our wealth is stored in Dollars. Would you blame people if they measure their resources with same. If the country can function without the Greenback, it will save us a lot of stress in this country.

Pls does anyone have any knowledge of this mtn smart data plan?

Is it like a normal plan or are there any differences?

Pls is there any one who uses this plan? , am thinking of subbing for it
It's not a normal data 'if being able to share with friends and family is an important criteria for you". You can't share it but it's a good deal actually. I'm using that of N3,000 for 20GB right now. I've got N16,000 for 110Gb on another line.

Just stumbled on this Jeff video. Dude said everything I've been trying to say here about Xiaomi. And like he said, I remember when he was strong advocate for Xiaomi.
If you know Jeff well enough, his advocacy was not actually for Xiaomi but for the quality of devices that Xiaomi's Redmi lineup was churning out back then. He preaches 'PRICE-TO-PERFORMANCE RATIO' all the time. As soon as Xiaomi started messing up with the Redmi lineup, he didn’t hesitate to call them out, which also reflected in his current choice of mobile device, he's now leaning more towards the Poco F and X series. The same goes for the majority of the old folks here. Redmi isn’t what it used to be anymore.

Regardless, all discussions about Transsion devices should be taken to the appropriate thread, please.

Please give me a quick review about this phone.... Does it freeze, lag or hang?
It's a very good budget device. People really slept on the device bro. The best value phone under 130k. If you don't mind the name (and the name isn't really visible) go for it. If I was told I would be comfortable for over 3 months with an Itel mobile device, I'll say NO. I'm typing with it presently. No lags, or freeze just cool. The SoC is good; can do most popular games at low graphic settings seamlessly.
