Saw a rev bar on the 30 mins but i decided not to take my profit n leave... U/C had since passed its Average Daily Range n i doubt it will go down anymore for today...
Didn't close the trade cos i wanted to see the effectiveness of using ADR to gauge movement.

Still bearish on the pair sha, maybe the news @ 19.00 WAT will be in my favour.... WHO KNOWS....

Though i think it will probably go up a little, range a bit then continue downward tomorrow if those @ d TOP will allow it sha.......

On currencies, it is definitely the way to go. My test case is in progress sef! EA +90 pips. Moved to BE, holding out for my first 800 pips

Took a position on E/N with 1/3 of my trading lot... SL was 40 pips while TP was 30.... @ 16.01 WAT.... Target already hit when i checked ma chart recently ....

Hmmmmm... Massive buying of Euro... Pairs moving like KILODE.. Should v entered jooor.. Now i hope it doesn't retrace n range its way to tomorrow like Turtle ranger

It feels like it is pointless trading currencies in any other tf other than the daily. I think I have to work on my patience and trade my two babies on the daily.

DJIA will remain on the hourly though, trading it on any other tf is akin to being suicidal

Hmmmm... Does that means u gonna have to increase the amount you risk to cover up since daily doesn't issue a lot of signal... ??

Ever since finishing my laundry , have been back to the drawing board, checking out my flaws, mistakes of the week, what went wrong...
Hian... twas a daunting task but well worth it.. I noticed something though, using MA crossover n S/R or with price action doesn't sit well with me cos most times, it does more damage than it help as i get analysis paralysis, esp on lower TF like 30 mins and when all the analysis does ever agree, the market would v moved a lot , more important is that they rarely agree on the same EXIT n it affects my position sizing system....

Maybe using it on higher TF might work as it will give me the luxury of time. Moreover am a kinda mobile type of guy, so i use my phone to trade n am limited to a small workstation except at night..

If u switch to daily, ur comments will reduce sha, shey u know?? n i will miss those " Yeepa", " Dancing azonto" and other funny remarks..
Makes trading less boring......

That nucca is going up, check your weekly/daily chart you will see the triple bottom on it, 1407x by Friday is a real possibility.

Just checked it out now, will wait till 11.30 WAT to make any decision whatsoever....
Not certain of its intended direction but what i know is its gonna move in that direction dishing out MASSIVE PIPS

Sir i remembered u made that trade call at around 10:27 am "sell EURGBP now for a 40pips take profit" and your take profit of 40 pips is hit by 2pm.
From the EUR/GBP chart today, within the time range i assumed you open/entered the trade, the highest price is 0.71696 at around 9:30 am and the d the lowest price is 0.71425 around 11am. The pair only delivered 27 pips (if you had entered the trade at d highest price) within that 4hrs of your entering and hitting tp as against 40 pips you claimed sir. Please, am i missing out something here? i just need some clarifications or the trade parameter.

I think our brokers r different, Maybe that's the reason for the discrepancy .

No point in catching a falling knife... Atleast breaking the said level would give a bit of assurance. Though it's almost reaching its Average Daily Range (+/- 25%) n i doubt any significant move downward if reached. ... esp in a LOVELY N CLEAR PATTERN..

Would v taken a LONG on E/C but the way its moving.. Hian....
Lets c wat 10.30 WAT will bring.. Just hope those pair take me along for the ride when they are ready.. Don't wanna be torned between letting go of a trade with potential profit or jumping on a fast moving train, might just break a leg..

U/C also hovering around support area,
E/C is just doing its thing when it ain't making money; RANGING
C/J @ resistance level around 98.4X - 98.9X
E/N hovering around resistance level @ 1.4261...

Will probably take some short position(s) on U/C n E/A.. Eyeing E/N and C/J.... for LONG positions....
Nothing z certain though, may change my stance if my system prove otherwise....

I think @ naijababe is also correct about some things...
Well, forex in terms of making money is relative, what satisfy trader A might not satisfy trader B and might be too much for trader C.. All to his own..
Another point is not to let greed become ur focal philosophy in trading... (emphasis on the word - GREED)

What should be noted though is that the term Money Management and Risk Management are relative.. It depends on the personality of the trader to decide which course to follow..

A trader with $100 trading 1% using a weekly / monthly chart all in the name of "mainstream" risk management ain't doing himself good considering the bills he would v incurred monthly. Should he have a lot of cash laying around till the effect of compounding kicks in, he's good to go but if he intends on using it to pay his bills, then that's not gonna cut it..
However, should a trader have a million dollar, 1% trading might look good ... even trading the market weekly.

Factors that really matters at the end of the day should be
# Situation on ground
# Personality
# Capital (in terms of money n mental)
