Can't remember his states but twas last year..
A female friend of mine scored 195 and chose Unilorin as second choice. She had 65 in her pume.. She was admitted on merit for Microbiology n she wasn't from ilorin. This was in 2013 when i was in Yabatech..

Dey all dissuaded me sef about my choice .. Even a friend of mine who scored 9ty-something percent in his Pume.. That my friend now is in unilag studying Medicine that same year..

boss no worry. jamb is not a true test of knowledge.
I think jamb used the simplicity of English in moderating scores. Imagine I have 57 in English whereas I can beat it anytime.
To show that potential in u, trounce ur cut off by 10-20marks in UI.
From what u wrote, it's like u re going for engineering, which niche in engineering habitat

Yes sire.... I can't categorically say there are reducing ppl score but there ain't transparent.. Take 4 maths, i scored 69.... since all questions were 50 in number.... there Shouldn't be an odd score (provided a question carries 2 marks each )...
Now d issue is i think Jamb has their own way of assigning marks to their question.... take English 4 example, some questions carry 2 marks while some carry 3 while some carry one....
I guess something similar is used.. mean applied to other subjects...
While can't jamb let us know exactly how they mark..?? Wouldn't it b better knowing we r wasting our time on a question with high mark compared to wasting our time solving questions that amount to low marks...
And if There's any other statistical way of marking our script... was so bad in letting us know... ??

Take 4 example....considering d way ppl were saying Eng was simple.. ppl had low marks in English including i, that would mean we did correctly a lot of questions where the marks are low ( based on the assumption that Jamb assign diff scores ) and wrongly did those that had high scores..
I did cross checked d comprehension part, i scored virtually everything wen i check my pq... that would mean d one i Miss was d one with high marks..

It's not about just scoring high. Wen i set a goal, i try as much as possible to achieve it, even @ my health discomfort.

Still don't get something... if maths was 50 question.. den those it makes sense to score 69 assuming a question each carries 2 marks... i think that means the way Jamb assign mark to questions z still a mystery...

Scored 43 in English.... A whole me.... It's just not possible.. considering i even tutor ppl for dz jamb..
The comprehension was a breeze.... i did everything well even the stupidd register... Am very sure cos i knew the stress i went to through in understandn their bleeped up English.. Only part i didn't do well z d oral... Don't know it n i couldn't waste my time on smth i didn't know..

Scored 69 in maths.... pheww... apart from 3 or 4 questions involving circle geometry n their stupidd line with d one mistake i made, i should score Nothing less than 80.. Am not a slowpoke, i know wat i did very well... i even did all the line equation well, matrices, AP.. everything.. I was really swell doing this maths. couldn't believe my star... didn't know jamb had their own plans.....

Scored 72 in physics.... Come to think of it.... i didn't remember d formula 4 inductance, Velocity ratio n 2 other questions.... So i ain't happy with this

Chemistry...... mehnnn.... Everything here was simple.... most of wat i was tot in yabatech in my first year was wat i saw.... ranging from fehlings soln to alkanoic acid to alkanal n d rest... was expecting atleast. 82 give or take 4 marks..

Am really sad to v prepared 4 dz fvcked up jamb only to v scored 246.....
even d first jamb i did without much preparation that got me into yct was 277 talkless of all d night reading.. preparation.. even taking students under me to tutor..

God will in his abundant mercy, punish those modafucker... May dey rot in hell... Na by force to do CBT if ur not capable of doing it..

Most of the maths questions were from year 2003 , 04 n 05...
will advise studying it to 2011 though....
Not a must u solve all... just check d answers to the questions, how it was solved n more importantly, focus on the answer and not on the option... I.e if the Answer is 2.. know it@ d back of ur mind that it is two.. rather than choosing option "c" which is 2....
cos jamb ehnnnn... OK o......

BTW, AM yet to c my result.. did mine @ Lakemead on the 13th.... 6AM.....

My friend who did his own a day after mine, same centre, same time had seen his result around 2pm..
