A Civil Society Organization, the Society for Rule of Law in Nigeria (SRLN) has cautioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against allowing itself to be used to settle political scores with the outgoing Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayo Fayose, SRLN, in a statement on Monday and signed by its National Co-coordinator, Dr Chima Ubeku, said the anti-graft commission will have no excuse to keep Governor Fayose in its custody for more than 12 hours when he submits himself tomorrow. The group, which described as laughable the report of EFCC placing the governor on surveillance, said a man who by himself volunteered to be at the commission’s Abuja office tomorrow and was in an event in Abuja that was transmitted live on television yesterday has shown enough reasons to be trusted and it is important for the EFCC to do less of its usual media hype this time around. The SRLN said having been on the matter for over two years and had given the impression that it had watertight evidences of financial crimes against the governor, the EFCC should have by now prepared whatever charges it has against Governor Fayose and should be ready to take him to court immediately. This is not a case in which EFCC will have the luxury of keeping an accused in its custody for weeks under the excuse of interrogation. In fact, the EFCC does not even need to interrogate Governor Fayose because the commission has shown to the public that it has enough evidence against him. If by Wednesday, Governor Fayose is not charged to court, it will mean that EFCC is only out to persecute him because in saner climes, investigations on financial crimes are concluded before inviting accused. While saying that the governor must submit himself to the EFCC tomorrow as promised, the group noted that any attempt to do otherwise will put a permanent question mark to his reputation. Until tomorrow, we give the governor benefit of doubt that he will fulfill his promise and EFCC must be mindful of doing anything untoward from midnight till the end of tomorrow.

~ By Sunday Osanyintuyi Certainly, Africa continues to face serious developmental challenges. Such challenges as dependency, corruption, underdeveloped infrastructure, poor leadership and backward governance, etc are some of the impediments to Africa's quest for sustainable and equitable development. In the past, attempts have been made by foreigners to tackle these challenges but these can only be solved by Africans. Prominent among these issues in Africa is our leadership deficiency. Most Africa countries are blessed with natural resources but bedeviled with "unprogressive" leaders. Leadership is not a position, but ability to take people on a journey to a better end. It is the ability to influence others to achieve a set goal. Nigeria and Africa continent have not been blessed with leaders who are developmental in thinking, focused on the people and committed to lifting the people out of poverty. As a strong believer in Africa and a leadership consultant globally, Dr Sam Adeyemi has been consistent not only trumpeting these issues about Africa but setting clear path to recovery and solutions to its challenges. As early as 2002, he established Daystar Leadership Academy (DLA), a leadership training platform committed to raising topnotch leaders. This academy has graduated over 35,000 students since inception. Many Africa leaders including business executives from the continent have also benefitted from the academy. Under his inspiring leadership, Daystar Christian Centre birthed the Excellence in Leadership Conference (ELC) over a decade ago to provide tailored made solutions to Nigeria’s leadership issues and the continent in general. “Occupying a position doesn’t make you a leader but it presents you an opportunity to lead. You will only offer what you know” Dr Sam Adeyemi. Among speakers and attendees of the conference in the past is the current Vice President of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, Minister of Power, Housing and Works, Babatunde Raji Fasola (SAN) and former World Bank Executive, Dr Oby Ezekwezili. WHY ELC & ITS IMPACTS Excellence Leadership Conference (ELC) is an annual leadership development conference that brings together Africa’s finest, thoughtful leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators and professionals to share leadership lessons and ideas that will transform the current state of affairs on the continent, particularly Nigeria. Since inception 2007, the conference has held annually with proven results. Over time, its impacts have not only been visible on the participants, it has increased the capacity of emerging leaders in Nigeria getting set to assume roles and positively shape the future of the continent. Among other impacts, Excellence in Leadership Conference (ELC) is serving as a good platform to network with forward-thinking industries relevant people. The quality of our association inevitably determines how far we go in life. Every participant annually, gets a chance to network with the most talented and dynamic industry leaders during the two-day conference. This conference is not just a one-way speech event as it avails participants the opportunity to interact, discuss common problems and share stories of difficult challenges with the speakers, while getting lasting solutions. At the conference, participants will discover new trends and skills. Provided what is being learnt is put to good use, participants get to stay ahead of the pack in their industries by mastering the latest trends and skills in their industries as will be shared by our seasoned speakers. DAYSTAR INTERVENTION AND AFRICA FUTURE Under the leadership of the senior pastors, Sam & Nike Adeyemi, Daystar Christian Centre is intervening on very critical sectors of Nigeria; ranging from education, family, career and to the most important, leadership. Among the comity of Pentecostal churches in Nigeria, Daystar Christian Centre is known for her strong leadership teachings laced with the message of love for humanity. The leadership of the church believes the impacts of every church should be felt in the leadership roles it plays in the society. This leadership role is what informed setting up the Excellence in Leadership Conference annually to chart the path of progress for Africa and to save its future. It is amazing to note that there is no single leadership school in Nigeria that trains people on leadership and its rudiments. People who found themselves in leadership positions are not prepared for the roles, hence their abysmal and woeful performances. This conference covers that lacuna. To this end, this year’s Excellence in Leadership Conference will hold in Lagos between November 1st – 2nd with a promise of paradigm shift for all attendees. The array of speakers this year includes Kola Olugbodi, Africa's leading background check expert. He is also the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Association of African Professional Background Screeners. He became an Entrepreneur immediately he left North South Bank (NSB) in 1995. He was the CEO of Josh Cyrus, a Human Resource and Outsourcing Organization. After which he became the inaugural CEO of Background Check International (BCI), pioneers of the background check industry in Nigeria and West Africa in 2004. Godman Akinlabi, a lead Pastor of The Elevation Church (TEC), Lagos Nigeria, where he has a God-given mandate to ‘’Make Greatness Common.’’ He is also the author of several critically acclaimed books including the 7 Commandments of Foolishness, Don’t Waste Your Pain, Sexuality: Get a Grip For Singles and Sexuality: Get a Grip For Couples, Moving from Fear to Faith, I Am Possible, Solid and many others. Others are Akinwande Ademosu, the Chief Executive of Credit Direct Ltd, a member of FCMB Group Plc, the business he started for the group in 2006. He has over 20 years’ experience in both Retail and Consumer finance in some top financial institutions in Nigeria. His interest has been in business and management strategy, credit analysis, sales, marketing and organizational leadership as well as Ty Bello, one of Nigeria’s most recognized artists. She came to public attention in the early 2000s as a member of the music group, Kush. She has also built a reputation as one of Nigeria’s foremost photographers and a member of the talented photography collective depth of Field. The conference conveners, Sam & Nike Adeyemi would be on ground to receive all participants both local and international. With Excellence in Leadership Conference (ELC), the future of Africa leadership is assured.

By: Chinonso Onwurah( Equity lawyer) To develop and move forward as a people, we need effective and quality representation in government. Our representative at the National Assembly in 2019 must first and foremost understand the needs of the people and the areas that government attention should be drawn. Our representative must understand the rudiments of legislation, the useful tools of advocacy, eloquence, writing skills, courage, diplomacy and lobbying as a means of securing acceptance of his proposed motions/bills by co-legislators in the House and by the Executive arm of government. Our representative must absolutely be reachable and totally connected to our people, especially the people at the grassroot, for this is the only way he can feel the pulse and needs of his constituents. The wonderful policies and intentions of our working Governor, Chief Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano, must tickle down to the smallest community in Anambra South! Our representative must effectively connect us to these dividends of democracy. Our great party APGA, must not be abandoned again. As a platform for our election victory, APGA and members of the party must be compensated and carried along in our activities. OUR APPEAL: This is an appeal to our great party delegates and well meaning people of Anambra South to give Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah a chance to change our experience of legislative representation for the better. Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has achieved milestones for our great party APGA, He is a great party man and will not abandon the Party he has helped to build from the Ward level. With his professional and corporate background, experience and disposition, he will make a difference - the much desired difference we are all yearning for. Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah for quality and Effective representation in Anambra South.

(EXCLUSIVE) ANOTHER FABRICATED ENDORSEMENT BY TEAM BIANCA (IBOM) EXPOSED: CHAIRMAN OF ANAMBRA STATE UNION IN CHINA, MR. CHIKWENDU JUDE ELOCHUKWU ENDORSES DR. IFEANYI UBAH. After a widely circulated post by Bianca’s team alleging that the president of the Nigerian community in China endorsed Bianca Ojukwu’s Senatorial ambition. The Bianca media organization in their characteristic deception failed to tell us when and where this endorsement took place and what Bianca has done for Nigerians in China to earn their endorsement. Before perception becomes reality, the questions that must be answered remain: What relationship does Bianca have with Ndi Igbo living and doing business in China? Can Bianca boast of providing Ndi Anambra in China with any form of assistance or succor as a former presidential aide on Diaspora affairs? It is incontrovertible to state that Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah is a man who has undoubtedly shown unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the diverse business interests of our brothers in China. It also on record that through the Ifeanyi Ubah foundation, he helped bring back home our youths languishing in Guangzhou prisons in China. In 2008, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah also donated 30, 000 dollars to the Chinese Government as a form of support when a terrible earthquake hit the country. Dr. Ubah's supersonic impact on the lives of our brothers and sisters in the diaspora and the Igbo economy by extension has earned him the full support and endorsement of Ndi Anambra living in China. Bianca Ojukwu’s media group should face the present reality and stop circulating unsubstantiated stories. They should stop deceiving themselves and the general public when they cannot provide any incontrovertible proof or verifiable evidence of their imaginary endorsements. Watch the exclusive video of Chairman of Anambra Union in China, Chikwendu Jude Elochukwu endorsing Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah via the link below. https://www./www.apgang.org/permalink/2096558940408529/ |
That was a friendly visit, they stomped at each other and Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, being the humble and responsible type, greeted the Governor. those painting political narratives according to the kind and innocent gesture knows little about the friendship they both enjoy. |
How does his endorsement add up anything here? is Uwazurike a stakeholder in APGA or from Anambra South Senatorial District? |

I made an uncommon history in this nation in 2015. I was the first person to be elected without a single structure in this country; since democracy. I had never in my life attended even a political meeting before my election. Afikpo people started this silent revolution that is about to engulf this nation soon. In 2019, the people will cast their vote for me, no matter my political party; because they know that it makes no difference. Afikpo was in bondage for years; voted for whomever the system threw up. Many of my people were indifferent; and paid no attention to politics. And the political merchants were happy that Maria is doing her thing, sharing her wealth stupidly to everyone including them, yes my money is shared to all regardless of your status. Every political merchant in my town has eaten my money well well. Then one day, while I was doing one of my street dances in Ehugbo, I started a trash-talk that hinged on 2015 polics, I was shouting playfully, 2015, them go hear my name, I will be this and that, then my now manager Iheukwumere Okogwu Otu, asked, Mama, do you wanna run for an office, AFIKPO will be so happy if you do, and whatever you are coming out for you will get, and I said to him, please, lemme finish dancing and i will answer you, after dancing, I said yes, the next day, we started the process, and boom, I won the election under PPA, where I ran like an independent candidate as I had no help for PPA, nor help from anyone else, but the people who voted for me, stood and defended their votes, and did not leave until my name was announced as the winner. NOTE: In 2014, I joined PDP, when my now governor David Nweze Umahi took over the structure of PDP in my state, I simply moved to PPA and won in a large margin. Other constituencies were even voting for me. The Maria Hysteria was something out of a fictions novel, but alas it was real. Those fighting a governor over a PDP or APC ticket are not serious. You can't fight a man in his home. Sometimes it's not the lone decision of the governor. Leave them to do their thing, do yours, if you are capable, or simply be wasting your time agitating over what you have no control over. If you feel you have connection, where your connection ends is where another person's connection starts. Hierarchy & Hegemony: Does these words mean anything to you? That is what obtain in major parties, parties with already-made structures. If you are not a structure and can't hold your own, stop whining and step side. Agitation is mem-mem, not rhetoric; unproductive anger & childish lamentations. Up till today, I have not recovered the money I ran election with; being that I was the sole sponsor of my election; and spent whatever I had to. Since I was elected, I have spend over 180 million naira of my personal money doing projects for me people. Projects that are very vital and that would benefit the entire Ebonyi south and beyond. Leaving me in serious lack since i was elected. But that is okay because I told them; your burden is my burden, and that I will serve myself last. I never built a single thing for myself. But built for them. The 1st contract I gave out was to a fellow honourable member, to a project for my people, only weeks after I was elected. This is what happens when you elect a MARIA, when they people elect those they are sure of, this is what happens when you break the IMPOSITION hegemony and elect your own. I broke it. Afikpo people saw to it. Let me tell you this: The silent revolution the people of Afikpo started cannot be quenched. It will never be stopped, rather it will increase; because an idea whose time has come cannot just wither away. It will grow. People now know it's possible to break through the system mafiaso of Nigerian politcs. My other MARIAs will be elected by their own people, truly elected, so they will know what it feels like for their representative to put them first. Afikpo people rejected political merchants in Afikpo for many years before I came into the picture. My people had no choice but vote for anything imposed by the system but what the known political merchants and traders in Afikpo threw up. God then sent Afikpo people help in the form of a woman, MARIA, by making me think about politics on that fateful day I was having fun dancing with my people in Amuro, Afikpo. The market of Afikpo political traders and Shylocks is closed and will be cemented in 2019. Maria is not their problem, let them go and sort out their matter with Afikpo people; that they dealt with mercilessly without an iota of compassion. They can align and re-align with even the devil to scuttle the people's wish and desire. 3 WORDS: DEAD ON ARRIVAL. Dear political merchants, traders and Shylocks in Afikpo, IMPOSITION IN AFIKPO IS HISTORY. We can't go back to Egypt. WE CANNOT GO BACK TO EGYPT. We just can't. Sorry, but we can't. PEOPLE RISING: What happened in Afikpo can happen in many others places. Follow my wall for more information on that. ARISE, PEOPLE! LIKE ME OR NOT: I am breaking barriers for you. I am making the impossible possible; in Nigerian politics. Look at me, a political nobody, an orphan, no godfather, not even a common sugar-daddy, no nothing, was elected in to a house of assembly, at a time, the structure of the state was in the hands of a ruling party. The barriers I'm breaking will benefit over 170 million people and will anger and block some ways for only about 100 people or so benefiting from the rot in the system; whose only interest is self, not the people. Which is then better? Before I won my election in 2015, I told everyone that I will do only one term in the house of assembly and then go to Abuja IN 2019 for a term. That was what i said, one has come true, the next will surely come true. Because no one spits out sugar. MARIA2019! THE FUTURE IS NOW - SEIZE IT. #2019REVOLUTIONARY #2019PEOPLERISING #2019NOTBUSINESSASUSUAL #2019ENOUGHISENOUGH #2019CHANGETHENARRATIVE #2019PEOPLEUNITED JOY is your birthright. Choose it! Claim it. I WILL SERVE MYSELF LAST!!! MARIA UDE NWACHI (AFIKPOC CHIC). Federal House Of Representatives. Afikpo North/South Federal Constituency. OFFICIAL DECLARATION: TOMORROW! Yours truly, NWANYI AFIKPO. Ude Ehugbo. Maria Ude Nwachi. BEST CHIC EVER LIVETH.

From time immemorial, men do control the tenets of power, leaving behind imprints that change the world around them. In all these, a fact sure stands, it is either they are on the good side of history or not. As such, the world always craves for purposeful leaders. A nation like Singapore will never forget the indelible marks of Lee Kuan Yew, who moved the nation from Third world to First world country. Interestingly, the people of Anambra South are fortunate to have a great man, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah (Ebubechukwuuzo Nnewi), a man of impact. The Holy Book says ‘show me your faith without your works and I will show you my faith by my works’. This statement aptly portrays Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah’s guiding principles. Spanning well over two decades, he has shown a strong sense of character in impacting the world around him. With significant investments all over the country, the giant strides of Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah are being felt in numerous families and communities through the provision of employment opportunities. Worthy of note is his enviable record as an astute businessman, who has built a business empire from the scratch. He is a sharp contrast to politicians and many so-called business men who have used the corridors of power and dubious means to enrich themselves while maintaining huge investments abroad, all from the proceeds of their illegitimate sources of wealth. In a time largely characterized by a dearth of good leaders, the people of Anambra South are very fortunate to have one in Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah whose massive investments in youth development and strong desire to transform the society are highly commendable. While governments at various levels continue to pay lip service to youth and sports development, the oil magnate took a bold step by investing in sport. A worthy example of such investment by him is FC Ifeanyi Ubah, a football club that has won six major tournaments in about four years of its existence. Also, his decision to build a massive sport development centre is a strong testament of his will to unlock the unlimited potentials of the youth. As he believes, “invest in youths, and you would have set a nation on the path of greatness”. As Francis of Assisi said, “start by doing what’s necessary, then do what’s possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible”. No doubt, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah is already doing the impossible without occupying any political position and his achievements speak volumes of his philanthropic personality and obvious for all to see. As Shakespeare rightly said “all the world is a stage…” Ndị Anambra South cannot afford to let the mediocre and those with obsessive desire of power to grace the centre stage of leadership. Leadership is a sacred commitment and only personalities like Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah who ticks all the right boxes through outstanding qualities, should be allowed to occupy its position at the Senate. Ndị Anambra South cannot afford to let this golden opportunity of electing Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah to represent them at the upper chamber slip away. Therefore, to ensure that a better Anambra South is achieved, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) delegates of the Senatorial District should vote for him at the Primary because he is the best aspirant with the required visionary leadership structure. Anambra South vote Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah (Ebubechukwuuzo Nnewi) for Senate 2019!

I doubt if you truly read the post Ndonu101: |
I heard people say the Saraki Family ran Societe Generale Bank aground, Yet no facts to back this wild gossip. Before people run their mouth wildly, the acquisition of Société General bank was supposed to be my career-defining transaction tombstone. It was supposed to be my first major deal – as a new Investment Banking shop. It came to me as a sort of compensation from my last employers. I had just left paid employment to start my own boutique Investment (Merchant) Banking /Project Finance operations. My last employers called me up to specifically give me the brief after they had some series of setbacks raising International capital to acquire this Bank. I am very familiar with the state of Société General’s finances, there is no way any party acquiring a bank would not do a thorough financial and technical assessment – That is what the Price Water House and Ernst & Young are there for. When I got the brief I tapped my extensive network and It yielded fruits. The London office of Duestchebank accepted to bankroll the acquisition of Société General Bank, Several things happened -which i am not permitted to talk about in the public domain as a Professional. Bottom line, Société General was eventually acquired by my ex-employers all the same... For the last couple of years, The Mo Ibrahim Foundation which annually confers the most outstanding leader award to African leaders who have distinguished themselves in the art of leadership, has refused to confer the award on any of the present African leaders reason as cited by the foundation is that none of them is worthy. But, does this translate that they're dearths of leaders in African? Read on. It's true that leadership in Africa is currently being led by those whom politicial profiteering has become an unquenchable vision- men whose drive is their personal enrichment; the prosperity of the nation becomes a lesser issue to that of themselves. It's also true, that Africa has obscured their best men from assuming leadership positions. Men who have created wealth and jobs for their communities without being in an elective leadership position. Men whose fecundity is unquestionable and whose loyalty lies always with the people. Men to whom leadership is natural have been edged out of leadership positions by nitwits and scrupulous elements in the society Chief, Felix Idiga is one such man. Chief Felix Idiga is the Chief Executive Officer of JAFAC Group an indigenous group he founded in the 80's when must of his mates were still seeking government patronage and singlehandedly built the group to become one of the highest employer of Labour in Nigeria with little government support. Chief Felix Idiga is a visionary whose love for economic emancipation of the African continent is unmatched. He understands that leadership is both an art and a gift conferred by the almighty- reason why he sees the service to his people like a holy injunction. Chief Felix Idiga is a leaders leader. A principled and effusive leader who constantly keeps a vigil in search of solutions for his people. He understands that leadership is a rent we must pay to our community for birthing us. He perfectly knows that leadership is all about the people- that's why without being in an elective leadership position, he has done more for his people than those in government. Like Felix himself will say " Praise be to God always for giving us the grace of being able to do his works" If Africa must rise above it present darkness, she must allow the lights of men such as Felix Idiga beam to illuminate all corners of our community and create prosperity. The antecedent of Chief Felix Idiga foretell an exceptional leader, a philanthropic leader who will go any length to alleviate the suffering of his people. It's said that the taste of the corn is in it pudding. Chief Felix Idiga who has shown excellence in community development must be allowed to come forward and take up leadership positions. With men like Felix Idiga in leadership positions, I'm certain that our community will be better for it. We have a moral duty to cajole and plead with natural born leaders like Felix Idiga to take up leadership positions, only then can we expect growth and prosperity in our society.

I see no genuine reason why people are mad about Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah choice. He is a politician, he reserves the right to cling to any party of your choice. The PDP folks saying shit are just pained ass people. You cheated one of the biggest party donor in the state for a total stranger to the structure, now they cry foul play such craziness. |
This should help douse the tension am rancour among party members and stalwarts in the state. The executives should also listen to the plight of the other aspirants. Good for the growth of the party. |
Just like Fayose said "The DSS has become the government’s terror gang, disobeying court orders with impunity.” ![]() |
The DSS has now become law unto itself, dragging Nigeria back to 1984. #Shame. DSS has nothing against Ifeanyi Ubah. DSS should respect the Court Order and release him. |
Dcomrade:Exactly bro.. .this isn't abt Ifeanyi Ubah alone. It could be anyone tomorrow. |
Dr PIU versus the forces of darkness. We all know that light will win. They will do all they can, push every ugly narratives, search every files to incriminate him, they will lose in the end. |
The sole work of mischief makers trying to pull the good name of Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah. There numerous antics will not stand/work. Justice must prevail |
The cruel system we are facing today and the lawless nature of our security forces is preparing the way for anarchy. why go against the rule of law, where then is the last hope for the masses. |
Media trial and embarrassment of Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah just shows how incompetent and dictatorial our security agencies has turned out to be. Its just so unfortunate. |
In all this careless arrest and embarrassment,DSS will not do their home work to know how much NNPC is owing Capital Oil. You can just put up allegation without confirming from both sides what went wrong. This I Nigeria, guillible people are always everywhere to believe whatever thrash is passed down to them. |
Ohammadike:You are just being petty and stupid, continue idiat! |
