Nebeuwa: Stop fraternizing with the SS, they detest the ibos very much. You are not loved by any ethnic group in Nigeria |
and it will close down too, with time because of poverty. one of the things i can't understand about yoruba people is that the most intelligent ones are the most useless when it comes to practical things that is why all their engineers are totally useless while igbo engineers are building things
What are you building in your towns and villages? if you are so bright, why dont you develop your region? |
igbobuigbo: I work with data not sentiments. You are way below Igbos academically, a fact proven over and over again. We do not have a higher college cut-off mark than you for nothing. You are a joker arent you? do you remember the only Nigerian on FBI wanted list recently? You go by data? Go and get back to me about the ethnicity of the Nigerians in prisons abroad- can you do that for us please Mr data? Have you heard about the annual world cup in Malaysian and Indonesian prisons? Do you know the Nigerian team have won in the last 15 years represented with your able brothers. Bros please dont talk about crime and use Yoruba and Ibo in same sentence. You folks are legendary and have a great reputation. Do they have death penalty in SA and Kenya where your people are doing wonders in crime? |
Classicalman: SHUT UP OLODO. So if an abdulrahman or osunbor or adebayo claims he is from Anambra, that is enough reason to send him back? Without any verification from the home state? Have you seen that you reason via your anuz. Yorubas are asking for trouble and trouble they shall get soon. Mark my words.Shatapp there Olodo , The same threats we got from Ohaneze Eze Ndigbo Ojukwu - where did that lead you. Go and ask your elders in your village as it seems you didnt do history at school. Awon eran igbe |
igbobuigbo: Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse. You live in a bubble, really. Wake up from your sleep. Igbos are by far more and better educated than Yorubas. Evey available data have shown that both within and outside Nigeria. While Igbos abroad think home you guys stay put in London and USA committing all kinds of financial fraud, all kinds of of fake visa crimes, marrying and sleeping with your daughters and sisters to enable you either remain in the UK or to bring them abroad, and more recently becoming global terrorists (jihadists) hacking people down with machetes on the streets of London or threatening Americans.Even the most bigoted and hateful Ibos know that they have at least 200+ years to get to the literacy level of the south west, Ondo sate alone will decimate all of you academically. You are the one living in a bubble and your failure to face the facts is quite disturbing. Now you talk about crime lol Are you for real?? Have you seen the link circulating around NL where Indonesian government is cutting all your igbo brothers prick in Indonesian prisons?? |
coogar: peter obi is a pathological liar.......i keep wondering what he wanted the LASG to have done in this case? the deportees travelled in the night with a van of mobile police officers and arrived anambra in the wee hours of the morning......Dont mind the mofos - they were probably exhausted after eating Akpu and consuming lethal amouts of Palmwine and probably sleeping with each other which is a common trait with them and forgot to pick up their own people at the given time. |
global07: I would like to ask a simple question.Stupid question, lagosians who are unfortunately destitute is the governments responsibility and that is why they have rehab centers for them. The ones from Igbo land are deported sharp sharp. Did you read the memo well? This is an ONGOING EXERCISE |
This is serious matter o. So Ogbeni Obi has been economical with the truth all along. Now breeze don blow and has exposed fowl yansh...Ha Irankiran lawon people yi o |
igbobuigbo: I have beaten you before and will beat you again. Any time boy.And going by your comments, all the years you have spent abroad has not led to any finesse or refinement in your Ochukwu behavior- always loud noise while your brothers are being disgraced and assaulted all over the world |
ngozievergreen: loolzPlease do not start on Adekunle tonite, it will only end in tears for you. That is a name that brings very horrible memories to Ibos, go and ask the elders in your village |
igbobuigbo: Replaced by who? I ask you why are Yorubas not dominating the markets in Lagos already?Intrinsically we are not criminally minded and heartless to be selling fake products, furthermore we are far more educated than Ibos which is why we are more inclined to be in the service sector- we are light years ahead of you in this regard. You think the business of bringing ladies pants and bras from China in containers is superior business sense- when yorubas are transacting millions everyday on the stock exchange. I laugh at your comment about sending money home- ibos are known to send money to buy meaningless chieftancy titles while Yorubas are investing in property and the stock market. |
Zenimart: . Na waa ooo. Since we are afraid of the yorubas, pls allow us to do our biz in peace. For those on nairaland who think they can eject the igbos from lagos, why not make good your threat instead of howling on a faceless forum. Keep shouting while the traders go about making their millions. Peace to all peace loving yorubas.Errm 72 of your brothers and sisters were deported a few days ago. How come there hasnt been any retaliation? ![]() |
igbobuigbo: They close it and lose the revenues from them. Simple. If it was that easy, Yorubas would already be in charge of those places as the principal shop owners. Afterall, the land is Yorubaland, so why dont they rent the shops to Yorubas only? Look, there are things Igbos are born to do that Yoruba cannot do. I dare Lagos to close the markets. Besides, are you going to close Igbo companies (not market shops) in Lagos too.I noticed you ignored the latter part of my post. I never said they will, I said they can and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. If they decide to , you lot can be easily replaced |
igbobuigbo: From the wiki (which I personally don't like to work with), Abia is better than Oyo. But GDP alone is crap without looking at GDP-PPP, in which case even Imo is better than Oyo. But then those are paper figures. In reality Oyo is poor and the reasons is due to the amala-type existence that people like Adedibu bestowed on them. If Shoprite is already complaining few months after coming to Ibadan, it speaks volume about the disposal incomes of the people. Is that the evidence for your comment that the wealth in Lagos is 60% Non Yoruba ^^^^ |
igbobuigbo: Have you been to the wharf in Lagos? Can you tell how many of the shippers are Yoruba? Does the wharf even belong to Lagos State? Lagos economywhatever it is worth, belongs to Lagos of course. Only a foooooool will argue that. But for the primordial argument going on here, we need to be sure of who owns what in Lagos before we begin to brag. Thanks.Who ships what into the country via Lagos is largely immaterial. I think you have failed to understand what I am trying to say to you, you are lucky that you have a very progressive people , the Yorubas that give you the opportunity to even do your business. Lagos state government can decide to close Ladipo and Alaba tomorrow and there is nothing you can do. I think you really overestimate Igbo wealth tbh. Igbos are largely present in the primary and tertiary sector while the Yorubas dominate the services which is what generates the most wealth. All the revenue from fake spare parts in Alaba in a Year is what Globacom makes every week. Brov you really are barking at the wrong tree here |
igbobuigbo: Because the wealth of Lagos is more than 60% non-Yoruba.Lol you are ridiculous. You have discounted and disproved every evidence provided to him calling it wiki tings etc... can you kindly provide evidence for your claim? |
igbobuigbo: Now you see how difficult it is to prove who owns Lagos without defining what you mean?Firstly, if anyone honestly thinks that Igbos form almost half of lagos then there could be a case for testing such with delusion and probably schizophrenia. Igbos will form about 20% at best but that is immaterial because at the end of the day, even if they form 90% of the population they are still immigrants there. Secondly, your position about the economy of Lagos is a very faulty deduction. Lagos state because of its proximity to a port, relatively wealthier population and the fact that successive governments have been pragmatic enough to create a viable commercial environment for businesses to operate are the reasons why Lagos has attracted a lot of immigrants from other parts of the country. For example It is just like saying because that most of the investments in the Irish Economy is by American businesses then Ireland belongs to Americans- No, they have created an enabling environment to attract investment which is what Lagos has done very well - better than other parts of the country. As you will know, governments can also formulate policies if they feel that there are some maladjustments- remember how Obasanjo Government in the 70s expropriated British companies- turned British Petroleum to African petroleum etc. As long as the land belongs to the Lagos government, they can legislate and enforce the laws they feel will be in the best interest of their citizens. I agree that both indigenes and residents have a right to criticise and protest but that will become unlawful if the LASG's decision becomes law. |
igbobuigbo: In what ways, in the constitution of its population, its economy or its nativity? Define what you mean. ThanksMr Igbogbo, do not attempt to speak English you don't understand - lol@ nativity. Anyways Do you agree that the Lagos state government has sovereignty over the state and can make decisions on behalf of the citizens that should be obeyed by all indigenes and immigrant residents? |
agbameta: English translation please..Dont mind him-Who cares Sign of frustration and confusion |
igbobuigbo: I am not concerned with Ladipo. That is just a tiny fraction of what is at stake in Lagos.Thats a good start. Do you agree Lagos is 100% Yorubaland? |
igbobuigbo: Stop being silly. You cannot be on the board and management team if you do not have a stake in any company. Now go and remove all the non-Yorubas on the list and come back and compare FBN with other banks. It will be equal to WEMA.How does this affect the fact that Igbos traders in LADIPO MARKET have to submit to the authority of the new BABA OLOJA the representative of KABIYESI ALAYELUWA THE OBA OF LAGOS? |
Aigbofa: Tell me a single place on this planet where you have a large concentration of Ibos and they are welcomed with open arms and I will tell you 50 places where the locals consider them as vermins.Exactly, they are every where- China, Indonesia, Malaysia, SA, even Iraq and Afghanistan ( I am not joking, I have a Igbo friend with uncles in Afghanistan) The funny thing is they have a bad reputation everywhere they go |
oshyno: 'Deportation' of Igbos from Lagos: Senator Ngige speaksFinally an Igbo leader speaks sense. God Bless Ngige |
igbobuigbo: Fake. There is no current official data about GDP that is reliable. Wait for the new one to come soon before you brag. How does this affect the fact that Igbos traders in LADIPO MARKET have to submit to the authority of the new BABA OLOJA the representative of KABIYESI ALAYELUWA THE OBA OF LAGOS? |
