Today, I went to a restaurant around Shomolu, specifically at the back of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) in Shomolu, where they sell amala. I had my own bottle of water, but the owner wouldn't allow me to bring it inside because they sell water. When I explained that I might need a specific type of water, or that I had purchased water in bulk, she responded arrogantly. When she told me that I couldn't bring my water in, I asked, "Do you want me to leave?" because of the way she spoke to me, and she responded, "Yes, I want you to leave." This experience left me feeling that the restaurant was not customer-centric and that the owner was unwilling to engage politely.

It’s disappointing to encounter such behavior, especially from someone who deals with perishable goods. I will not be recommending this place to others.

This is the crudest of all political games I have ever seen coming from the North. All these years the North has been enjoying unfair sharing of the National resources, did anyone in the North ever consider that unfair? This is a call on Gov Sonwo-Olu, his Commissioner of transportation and LASTMA , Please help look for better ways to ensure smooth flow of traffic from 3rd mainland bridge through Oworonhoki to Toll-gate. We are dying in silence occasioned by poorly executed traffic management.
Alternative routes through Yaba connecting to Jibowu is blocked /under repair from Yaba Tech to Jibowu, traffic from Carte Bride to Funso Williams not flowing smoothly making it difficult to avoid the 3rd mainland. Shouldn't LASG ensure the bad part between Yaba-Tech and Jibowu is repaired before starting the repair of Ogudu/Ifako Bridge?
Indeed, we commutters are paying for this repair with our health, money and time.
Please Governor help us solve this traffic jam, it is becoming intolerable.

While I commend President Bola Tinubu for the award of National Honours on these freedom fighters, he must not stop there, he should go ahead and strip Sanni Abacha of all forms of national Honours, if possible, change any national monuments named after him to a different name
Mr President should also ensure Ogoni land is good for farming by removing all forms of pollution on their land and SELL should be made to pay all forms of sanctions applicable to the damage caused.

Good job, but what happened to the BRT buses? Shouldn't this pose a sleepless night for Mr. Governor? Many are left stranded at the Bus Stop along the Lekki Ajah Axis. Many residing on the mainland working on the Island or Lekki—Ajah axis suffer daily just because the BRT buses are not there or are inadequate to meet the needs. Mr. Governor, we know you can do this for us. We voted for you, not the people in FESTAC, who will be enjoying the Blue rail line.

In my case, i planted three seeds per hole and aimed to cultivate between 11,000 and 12,000 seeds. This gives room for mortality of 5-15%. If 5-15% of the seeds do not grow, it means I end up getting 10,000 successfully grown plants per acre.


For my six acreage area, i had 72,000 seeds cultivated.




***Let's do a quick maths.

If u have let's say 10,000 stands of maize on your farm, and a maize cob weigh 350g after good Agronomic practice. After shelling it can reduce to 250g.

*If u convert to kg, u have 0.25kg.

*Multiply by 10,000 stands..... 2500kg - 2.5 Tons per acre area


*100kg makes a bag... So u can get 25 bags of 100kg

What is the role of the National Assembly and the CBN in this mess? Let CBN devise a bill proposing stringent sanctions for demanding USD or any other foreign currency for any domestic transaction within Nigeria. The National Assembly should make such a law for PBAT to sign.

How Nigeria's independence was negotiated on a TRIPOD called North, West, and East Regions, and how through the use of military the North has changed the political negotiations to North Vs South 2. How Sanni Abacha, ( the worst leader in the history of Nigeria), used military advantage to create 44 local government Areas for Kano after creating Jigawa State out of old Kano state that shared the same state status with Lagos State.

They should not remind us about the depth of injustice the North has perpetrated in this country using their military sons. Now it is so difficult for Southern Nigeria to unite and ask that after South West, it should be the turn of Eastern Nigeria to produce a president because of the greed for power from the North.

If they do not know history, they should be taught that even the North today is sharply divided and that we in the Middlebelt want a separate identity.

I attended a southern african church last 2 weeks.
No shouting, screaming, falling by anointing.
Infact, no drama. More praise and the preaching was godly living. Guess what, no offering.
But they pay tithe. Everybody including the pastor is working.

Pastor came down from the pulpit, very close to the congregation and was speaking like a therapist. It was like group discussion. My head was just spinning. Can this happen in naija where narcissism reign supreme?

The pastors wife is my colleague and friend. Not until I attended the church after years of invitation that I knew she is the pastors wife. Called her mummy G.O. She asked me with all seriousness what that means. Lol.

There's a church in Anthony Village Lagos whose mode of worship is similar to what you described. Indeed, no clapping, dancing, or collection plate but they have a Tithes and Offering box, and there is no mention of offering during service except occasionally when they are teaching about God's plan of financing. They have a big tabernacle and are located at Campground road. They own the Campground.
