Why should he caution them? Don't they have brain to know it is not easy to make money?

Taking undue advantage of the man just because they know he won't like to embarrase them or himself. Let the girls pay.

I am from Kogi state like the respected clergyman but I completely disagree with him. The question is whose interest is the clergy trying to protect here? Can we afford a vaccum and its consequences?
The clergy has all the opportunity to help Okunland when GEJ was president, but he didn't influence anything to Kabba. not even the University that was initially planned to be sited in Kabba.
I just hope this will not be sending the wrong signal to BAT about Okun people. If it is not Dino "singing Baba wey no well" and it will be most Senior Okun Priest in Catholic caaling for delay in swearing-in.

Just two years ago, the South-West govs proposed six regions, demand LG autonomy, and resource control.

https://punchng.com/swest-govs-propose-six-regions-demand-lg-autonomy-resource-control/

Other regions should watch out, the right competition has started again. The SW leads the pace and others hopefully will follow. I trust SE won't allow SW to leave them behind.

I also wish my own part of Kogi state can collaborate with SW and make the rail system terminate at Lokoja. When you put the right infrastruture in place, you can be sure that development will follow . I also hope amotekun will keep preventing further attack.

Someone that knows better should educate me abeg.

I want to beleive the idea is to filter the people claiming to be Nigerians. If you don't know your state , then we may have reason to suspect a terrorist trying to seak into Nigeria from Sudan

They are not only being ungrateful to Wole Soyinka but the entire Yoruba race. Next time Yorubas will learn to teach thier children how to be careful when they want to give political support to an Igbo man. It is that bad! Yes, there are very good Igbo but now we have to use the law of large number and from experience, supporting them may not be the best option. See this Obi they are talking about his mandate, more than 50% of the vote that made him lead Lagos was cast by Yorubas that probably did not know how Col Banjo was rewarded by Ojukwu for fighting for Biafra, How to date know Igbo social-cultural organization has deemed it fit to recognize the supreme sacrifice of loyalty paid by Fajuyi when he choose to die with Ironsi if they do not spear him, instead they are quick to tag the entire Yoruba race as a betrayal. I hope the recenty attack on Soyinka will teach the Yoruba Obidients follower some lessons. I hope they will remember the 5 Nigerian Major and how they choose to exceute the coup killing only Hausas and Yorubas to spearthe Igbo?
Lessons! lessons!! Lessions!!!

Are the Yorubas the real enemies of Igbos as alleged by you? Shouldn't one question your sense of judgement? Before this election matter, how many times has Igbo been attacked in Yorubaland, has their business been interrupted by Yorubas.
Leave politics aside, it is not good to label your hosts in whose land God has blessed you as enemies. Ingratitude can incure God's anger. Rewarding evil for good.

Think deeply about it.

What you are getting wrong is the approach and domineering tendencies of Igbos over others. I am sure an average Yoruba elites will have no issue with a full-blooded Igbo man emerging as Governor of Lagos and leading Lagos as a neutral character without this "igbo centric" attitude.
However, no tribe or region will watch and listen to some of the claims/ threats on social media by Igbos and allow this threat to pass without doing anything about it. As much as Igbos will not tolerate such attitude in the East, they shouldn't try it in the west. Igbos didn't protest when Tinubu appointed Igbo men into cabinet. This is a process that will evolve with time. I can tell you for free this attitude of aggression on the part of Igbos on Yorubas in Lagos will further attract hate for Igbos and other host communities/states in the country will be more cautious in embracing them. Kano surely have substantial population of Igbo, why are they not attempting what they are doing here in Kano or Kaduna? Why are they not trying to fight it out in Rivers?

There is noting bad in having ambition but pursue it in a way that it will not disrupt the entire state peaceful co-existence.

And about host vs visitor. I'm living in Lagos courtesy of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Not because of Yoruba's generosity. Yoruba's don't provide me with free accommodation, transportation, electricity or water. So what entirely are you laying claim to as host to demand I kowtow to you? We are compatriots in Nigeria, comrades if we have to battle against foreigners. So perish that haughty feeling of host vs visitors. Igbos are no visitors in Lagos. We are stakeholders in the development of the commercial capital of Nigeria. No one person can lay claim to a market.

Now if you're apprehensive of Igbo as an ethnic group, I really can't help that. It only mean you will do things to act out your apprehension and will never be able to leave freely. Whatever you do though will have little to no effect on the Igbos. For example, look at how you are disgracing yourselves up and down snatching ballots boxes and getting shot by security men due to an election. How is this affecting the Igbo man? Let alone solely affecting the Igboman? You will shoot yourself in the foot trying to stop an immoveable force of nature. You will do it every four years?

If you reject GRV because his mother is Igbo, soon Lagos will be ruled by full bloodied Igboman

Does this mean the classic Yoruba behaviour is bad?

When a man points at his father's house with his left hand, it is an insult in many African cultures. Now think of it, he generalizes the entire Yoruba race. Stereotyping your father's race in such a negative manner, only depicts the quality of his mindset, and certainly, that is NOT an attribute of a leader.

Yaribas are living in a fantasy world of their own delusional making, which will soon be turned into a nightmare land, because this particular time around darkness will not prevail. We know yaribas love darkness, that's why they wallow in it so shamelessly, call themselves after it---omo dudu/omo oDUDUwa---and epitomize it in everything they do. They are children of darkness and they will pay an intolerable price for their allegiance to it. The yirinbawa 'people' are not really people, as revealed by science, which categorically states a significant percentage of their dna derives from archaic 'ghost' populations resident in West Africa BEFORE the advent of Homo sapiens sapiens. We know this filthy admixture in yirinbawa dna to come from none other than the quasi-developed apeman ('ghost') Homo erectus. This revelation perfectly explains common yirinbawa behaivor, as well as observed phenotype (dudu-skinned/dudu smelling/etc.), with rare exceptions. They are famously cowardly, conniving, back-stabbing, jealous genocidists whom should and will be separated from polite gentile society, because society and civilization are not conducive, they're in-fact diametrically opposed, with and to yirinbawa nature. I say this not to cast aspersions or malign; these are facts which need to be acted upon if reasonable light-loving persons are to advance and thrive in Nigeria. If Peter Obi should fail to retrieve his stolen mandate in court (God forbid), Mandate Thief-in-Chief Tibubu should do one honorable thing in his miserable life and immediately restructure Nigeria and/or allow Igbo people the separate
homeland we've been clamoring for since we were rapaciously alloyed with ndi isi oji touts and demons.

GrahamBrown:
Two young men have hit the streets of Abuja to protest against what they termed corruption of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the execution of its duties.

They are protesting over the result of the just concluded presidential elections as they noted that they tried to make a difference.
The generation of Arthur Nzeribe, sworn enemies of democracy, they are of the bloodline of Daniel Kanu, Youth Earnestly Ask Abacaha.

A video making the rounds on the internet shows the duo holding placards and standing in traffic while blocking cars that tried to maneuver through them.

According to the write-up on one of the placards, thegroup of friends trooped out on Saturday, February 25 to vote and make a difference but it did not happen because the numbers could not guarantee victory.

The words were also a reference to their protest which had just two of them and they decided to end it because people did not join them to demonstrate.

If APC knew they have done so well, why didnt they allow a free and fair election so Nigerians can vote them

Although I didn't vote for Tinubu, please tell us how APC stopped free and fair elections and LP still won Lagos the stronghold of APC? Didn't we see how the electorate voted in the SE in many units the entire electorate voted LP without a single person voting for other political parties. How are sure people who wanted to vote for other parties in LP strongholds were not intimidated from voting?
