You must have failed Geography. You think Asaba or Ika or Ikwerre is ruled by an Ijaw or whatever king. All these Igbo regions I mentioned have Igbo monarchs. You can never say the same about Ilorin. All the yorubas there are subjects of the emir. They were historically conquered by the Fulanis and the state carved out by the Fulanis and under the control of the Emir. You have no point. In Delta, all kingdoms were merged into a state with a governor. There are numerous chiefdoms in Delta. The Olu of warri for instance only has control over his region in Warri, and the Obi of Asaba only has control over his region in Asaba. That is all.

When it comes to Geography of Nigeria, hmnn,I doubt if you know as much as I do. Nevertheless, let me lecture you a little about Ilorin history and the current situation. As at today, both the Yorubas(Afonjas and The Alimi-Fulanis) rotates the title of the leadership of Ilorin by virtue of a court judgement that aimed at resolving the historical accident for the purpose of inclusion and religion harmony. However, the Alimis have had longer reign than the Afonjas because the king that emerged from the Afonjas were old and didn't leave long. Go and fact check that.

Who will blame this one claiming Ilorin to be a Muslim town? Is his relevance not derived from Islamic study?
As if the original settlers at Ilorin were not Yorubas before the Fulani tactical take over of rulership.
With the dominant role of North on Nigerian politics for many years, Ilorin was promoted above other towns and made Kwara State capital.

Much as we are glad NLC want to fight for us, the labour union leaders must realise that the people are hungry and lack money to stock food anywhere.
My take is to make them collaborate with government to provide CNG as alternative source of energy a strong substitute for PMS. What's the IPMAN doing about their promise?We want NLC to give message of hope to Nigerian while mounting continuous pressure on Government at all levels to provide substitute to PMS. What happened to Rail Way transportation on which former PMB spent huge some of our common wealth? Must we really of trailers to transport food?
I think it I time for Nigerians to ask Labour Union for their arguments on behalf of the masses when they meet FGN? Offer alternatives and push for it.

This is Governor Dapo Abiodun providing leadership in Ogun State in time of critical need. The big question is what is Sanwo-Olu doing in Lagos?
I voted this man and I have no apology to anyone for voting Sanwo-Olu but he has to wake up. Why is he not talking about converting the BRT buses to CNG powered buses? Why is the wildly celebrated bmlue rail train not available in times like this? Didn't it occur to him that this is an opportunity to score huge political point by making it very easy for people to move around? Isn't it a way of support for PBAT at the centre when subsidy has just been removed and people are languishing in poverty and pain?
It is in difficult time we know good friends. and it is also in difficult times we know good governance/governors.
Almost all the inner town roads are in very appalling states, go to Anthony, Ikosi Ketu or Ikorodu etc the LGA have stopped working! Transportation is a nightmare, bad roads, not vehicle high cost of transportation.
Please speak out Gov Babajide Sanwo-Olu!

There are two suggestions that I have for you. The first has been offered by many earlier on this page. That is RESIGNATION
The second is take a leave about the time a project is coming. either sick leave with Doctor's suggestion or a family matter that is very serious. In taking this decsion, please just check your consicience. So, let the son of the man face the project to prove his competence. Let the father know that it wasn't his son working hard through the outcome of the project.
If he failed to delvery, they will value you and respect you more next time, if he's able to wriggle his way through it successfully, it means you are over estimating your importance in the organization so you embrace opition number one again.

I blame the school authority, the lecturer and the students.
The Senate of the school, should put an appraisal system in place to make students appraise the performance of the lecturers, how well knowledge has been imparted. Students will grade thier lecturers.
Thelecturers should also review his teaching method and ask why are the students performing badly

The students should not be silent if the lectrurers are not imparting knowledge effectively.

All the major streets lights he stopped working. Travel Ikorodu road at night especially Mile 12-Ojota-Jibowu, always dark. Even the independent tunnel that was recently beautify, is usually in dark.Oworo-Oshodi-Apapa road , no street light, are we expecting the police to perform magic? If we want security cameras in place, shouldn't the street light compliment the work? Berger-Oworo is notorious for one chance, the Ogudu and Alapere police can't help because there's no way to track these one-chance gangs.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, let the streets light work , tell your commissioners to conduct regular inspection and also inspect like Fashola use to do during his tenure.

Ndigbo are highly educated and top civilised group in Africa. Tell us, were Ndigbo speared from his politically motivated hardship of Naira redesign?

The man that created Kogi problem. He joined different tribes and made is easy for the Igalas and Ebiras to operess the Yoruba minority tribe in the state. The Tapas , his progenotors raided the Okun people and made them slaves, he came and push them under the Igalas to continue the torment that the Royal Niger Comapny force once stopped.

The Okun Yourubas and enslvement from the Tapas, Dino be very careful with tha IBB. You may end up under the bus.

Isn't it obvious that the TUC have not been providing the necessary leadership that can bail thier members and by extension, Nigerian out of the traps of the politicians? When OBJ sold Port Harcourt Refinery to Dangote in 2007, didn't this guy opposed the transaction and forced Yar'Adua to reverse the sale? Imagine if Dangote was allowed to complete the transaction then? We won't be here debate about subsidy today. Bunch of directionless and corrupt labour union leaders.

I am from Kogi state like the respected clergyman but I completely disagree with him. The question is whose interest is the clergy trying to protect here? Can we afford a vaccum and its consequences?
The clergy has all the opportunity to help Okunland when GEJ was president, but he didn't influence anything to Kabba. not even the University that was initially planned to be sited in Kabba.
I just hope this will not be sending the wrong signal to BAT about Okun people. If it is not Dino "singing Baba wey no well" and it will be most Senior Okun Priest in Catholic caaling for delay in swearing-in.

I also wish my own part of Kogi state can collaborate with SW and make the rail system terminate at Lokoja. When you put the right infrastruture in place, you can be sure that development will follow . I also hope amotekun will keep preventing further attack.

Let me let out a secret about this SDP candidate, if you don't know, know it today and maintain your lane. He's a close relation of the Gani Fawehinmi family, and also a sound legal practitioner. You don't try nonesense with him, you somply meet in the court. I will suggest , limit your attacks to Tinubu and Buhari if you don't have a valid political point against him.
You may not take my advice anyway. If this trait remains in the family, remember Gani doesn't care whose ox is gored? I will advice you don't test his strengh of character.

They are not only being ungrateful to Wole Soyinka but the entire Yoruba race. Next time Yorubas will learn to teach thier children how to be careful when they want to give political support to an Igbo man. It is that bad! Yes, there are very good Igbo but now we have to use the law of large number and from experience, supporting them may not be the best option. To collectively label a whole tribe knowing fully well many of her youths supported Obi during the Presidential election against their own is most unfortunate.
So when you continue to act this way, you are actually working against the chances of future support of some of us that has supported Igbo candidate before. Continue, at least your behavior is teaching us lessons not to trust you.
