Bobbiee:When it comes to Geography of Nigeria, hmnn,I doubt if you know as much as I do. Nevertheless, let me lecture you a little about Ilorin history and the current situation. As at today, both the Yorubas(Afonjas and The Alimi-Fulanis) rotates the title of the leadership of Ilorin by virtue of a court judgement that aimed at resolving the historical accident for the purpose of inclusion and religion harmony. However, the Alimis have had longer reign than the Afonjas because the king that emerged from the Afonjas were old and didn't leave long. Go and fact check that. |
Bobbiee:Yes just like Igboland belong to Niger Delta? |
Kalashnikov49:You are not happy he is requesting for the unmasking of character assersinator(s)? How will you feel if the attack was targeted at you or your mentor? What is wrong is wrong. Stop defending nonsense. |
Who will blame this one claiming Ilorin to be a Muslim town? Is his relevance not derived from Islamic study? As if the original settlers at Ilorin were not Yorubas before the Fulani tactical take over of rulership. With the dominant role of North on Nigerian politics for many years, Ilorin was promoted above other towns and made Kwara State capital. |
Much as we are glad NLC want to fight for us, the labour union leaders must realise that the people are hungry and lack money to stock food anywhere. My take is to make them collaborate with government to provide CNG as alternative source of energy a strong substitute for PMS. What's the IPMAN doing about their promise? We want NLC to give message of hope to Nigerian while mounting continuous pressure on Government at all levels to provide substitute to PMS. What happened to Rail Way transportation on which former PMB spent huge some of our common wealth? Must we really of trailers to transport food? I think it I time for Nigerians to ask Labour Union for their arguments on behalf of the masses when they meet FGN? Offer alternatives and push for it. |
This is Governor Dapo Abiodun providing leadership in Ogun State in time of critical need. The big question is what is Sanwo-Olu doing in Lagos? I voted this man and I have no apology to anyone for voting Sanwo-Olu but he has to wake up. Why is he not talking about converting the BRT buses to CNG powered buses? Why is the wildly celebrated bmlue rail train not available in times like this? Didn't it occur to him that this is an opportunity to score huge political point by making it very easy for people to move around? Isn't it a way of support for PBAT at the centre when subsidy has just been removed and people are languishing in poverty and pain? It is in difficult time we know good friends. and it is also in difficult times we know good governance/governors. Almost all the inner town roads are in very appalling states, go to Anthony, Ikosi Ketu or Ikorodu etc the LGA have stopped working! Transportation is a nightmare, bad roads, not vehicle high cost of transportation. Please speak out Gov Babajide Sanwo-Olu! |
There are two suggestions that I have for you. The first has been offered by many earlier on this page. That is RESIGNATION The second is take a leave about the time a project is coming. either sick leave with Doctor's suggestion or a family matter that is very serious. In taking this decsion, please just check your consicience. So, let the son of the man face the project to prove his competence. Let the father know that it wasn't his son working hard through the outcome of the project. If he failed to delvery, they will value you and respect you more next time, if he's able to wriggle his way through it successfully, it means you are over estimating your importance in the organization so you embrace opition number one again. Good luck |
I blame the school authority, the lecturer and the students. The Senate of the school, should put an appraisal system in place to make students appraise the performance of the lecturers, how well knowledge has been imparted. Students will grade thier lecturers. Thelecturers should also review his teaching method and ask why are the students performing badly The students should not be silent if the lectrurers are not imparting knowledge effectively. |
This grandpa must be joiking!, Peter Obi your own Jesus, aren't you and your fellow Obidients pushing for the complete downfall of Peter Obi? Remember the people that praised Harold and said he spoke like God?! Peter may strife to be like Jesus but shouldn't be anybody's Jesus including Charly Boy. |
All the major streets lights he stopped working. Travel Ikorodu road at night especially Mile 12-Ojota-Jibowu, always dark. Even the independent tunnel that was recently beautify, is usually in dark.Oworo-Oshodi-Apapa road , no street light, are we expecting the police to perform magic? If we want security cameras in place, shouldn't the street light compliment the work? Berger-Oworo is notorious for one chance, the Ogudu and Alapere police can't help because there's no way to track these one-chance gangs. Governor Sanwo-Olu, let the streets light work , tell your commissioners to conduct regular inspection and also inspect like Fashola use to do during his tenure. |
If this claim is truly coming from Ohaneexe Ndigbo, then we have a big issue with the quality of mindsets leading the social cultural organisations. Must we play politics with everything? Well know how this Godwin guy abused his office, made helpless citizens to suffer and some even died because of his obnoxious, I'll thought-out naira redesign policy. Ndigbo are highly educated and top civilised group in Africa. Tell us, were Ndigbo speared from his politically motivated hardship of Naira redesign? |
muykem:Tell them and make it louder! The Igbos are very good business men and we all know, but very very poor politicians. You don't intimidate others to follow you or keep insulting them and expect no reaction. If Sanwon Olu hates Igbo, he will quietly import or call another firm to come and assemble in Lagos. Vi our Rhodes, where art thou?! |
I wish we can have about 10 or more of this type of Innosn guy and Dangote in naija. My Ibo brother and Hausa brothers are doing well in investment. Where are my Yoruba investors? We want more innovation to bail us out |
The man that created Kogi problem. He joined different tribes and made is easy for the Igalas and Ebiras to operess the Yoruba minority tribe in the state. The Tapas , his progenotors raided the Okun people and made them slaves, he came and push them under the Igalas to continue the torment that the Royal Niger Comapny force once stopped. The Okun Yourubas and enslvement from the Tapas, Dino be very careful with tha IBB. You may end up under the bus. |
This SDP candidate is very articulate. Isn't it obvious that the TUC have not been providing the necessary leadership that can bail thier members and by extension, Nigerian out of the traps of the politicians? When OBJ sold Port Harcourt Refinery to Dangote in 2007, didn't this guy opposed the transaction and forced Yar'Adua to reverse the sale? Imagine if Dangote was allowed to complete the transaction then? We won't be here debate about subsidy today. Bunch of directionless and corrupt labour union leaders. |
Go for GT Bank. |
Your excellency please don't forget Olufumilayo and Oladogba streets in Ikosi LCDA. The cannal constructed by former Gov. Fasaola to join Olufumilayo and Dairo is in appaling state espcially when it rain. Kindly appeal to the LCDA Chairwoman to fix the two roads. |
I think he's also the first Chairman of Guaranty Trust Bank one of the leading in Nigeria and perhaps, Africa. RIP Prof |
The clergyan tat had great influence under GEJ but couldn't helpattract a Federal University to his home town or the entire Okunland is now supportinh Peter Obi so that Tinubu will not remember us in Okunland. Baba, please stop making public comment about the election if you can't help us, don't jeopardise our chance. |
ObongBassey:Why should he caution them? Don't they have brain to know it is not easy to make money? Taking undue advantage of the man just because they know he won't like to embarrase them or himself. Let the girls pay. |
fergie001:I am from Kogi state like the respected clergyman but I completely disagree with him. The question is whose interest is the clergy trying to protect here? Can we afford a vaccum and its consequences? The clergy has all the opportunity to help Okunland when GEJ was president, but he didn't influence anything to Kabba. not even the University that was initially planned to be sited in Kabba. I just hope this will not be sending the wrong signal to BAT about Okun people. If it is not Dino "singing Baba wey no well" and it will be most Senior Okun Priest in Catholic caaling for delay in swearing-in. |
El-Rufai is better than Masari and the other contender in project execution, monitoring and national unity. However, he may become too powerful to handke with time |
muhammaduyusufu:Other regions should watch out, the right competition has started again. The SW leads the pace and others hopefully will follow. I trust SE won't allow SW to leave them behind. I also wish my own part of Kogi state can collaborate with SW and make the rail system terminate at Lokoja. When you put the right infrastruture in place, you can be sure that development will follow . I also hope amotekun will keep preventing further attack. |
Tallesty1:I want to beleive the idea is to filter the people claiming to be Nigerians. If you don't know your state , then we may have reason to suspect a terrorist trying to seak into Nigeria from Sudan |
9jaRealist:I don't know much about law but don't run down another petson's charater with your pen mouth because of Obi's political bition and think Obi will deliver you from the consequences of riotious mouth or pen in the court. |
socialmediaman:Let me let out a secret about this SDP candidate, if you don't know, know it today and maintain your lane. He's a close relation of the Gani Fawehinmi family, and also a sound legal practitioner. You don't try nonesense with him, you somply meet in the court. I will suggest , limit your attacks to Tinubu and Buhari if you don't have a valid political point against him. You may not take my advice anyway. If this trait remains in the family, remember Gani doesn't care whose ox is gored? I will advice you don't test his strengh of character. |
Corridon:Let me tell you with certainity, that guy will serve his days in court and perhaps jail if it is the SDP candidate that I peraonally know. Forget about all this stupid accussations by fanatical followers of the intolarant party. You make all sorts of unfundes alleagtions against people just because they refuse to be dogmatic? He shuold better apologizw or simply wait to have his day in court. Watch out! This nonesense have to stop by making examples of some of them. |
LegendHero:They are not only being ungrateful to Wole Soyinka but the entire Yoruba race. Next time Yorubas will learn to teach thier children how to be careful when they want to give political support to an Igbo man. It is that bad! Yes, there are very good Igbo but now we have to use the law of large number and from experience, supporting them may not be the best option. See this Obi they are talking about his mandate, more than 50% of the vote that made him lead Lagos was cast by Yorubas that probably did not know how Col Banjo was rewarded by Ojukwu for fighting for Biafra, How to date know Igbo social-cultural organization has deemed it fit to recognize the supreme sacrifice of loyalty paid by Fajuyi when he choose to die with Ironsi if they do not spear him, instead they are quick to tag the entire Yoruba race as a betrayal. I hope the recenty attack on Soyinka will teach the Yoruba Obidients follower some lessons. I hope they will remember the 5 Nigerian Major and how they choose to exceute the coup killing only Hausas and Yorubas to spearthe Igbo? Lessons! lessons!! Lessions!!! |
Area father, you comment is so dissapointing and to say respectable grandfather of your calibre can make this type of public comment is very disappointing. Is this what you are teaching your children? This same Soyinla you are trying to vilify was jailed for supporting Biafra, he is one of the prominent figures that supported Austin Moghalu for president on YPP platform. Where were you and your fellow Obidients then? Running after Atiku? Your hypocracy and tribalistic tendencies are not difficult to spot, areafather. I wish you are a bettet father that know how to draw the line. |
muhammaduyusufu:

Phoen1X:You open your mouth anyhow by attacking Oonirisa? Haven't you heard that nobody insults Ooni and go free? You just insulted him publicly now, calling him a ridiculous name. Do you think he is a political office holder like GMB or Tinubu that can be insulted? You have just made a big mistake! Check it out even when the Oba of Eko, Ridwan Akinolu was rude to him, despite all appeal public, pronouncement of forgiveness by the Ooni, what happened to the man, his palace and subsequent attack? Mine is just an advice. If you can delete this comment, do it as fast as your fingers can help you. |
Rikkely:How can I feel disappointed that you are insulting me? Let tell you, there's a God that rules in the affairs ofen, if it is not God's will, no ruler can attain a throne. To collectively label a whole tribe knowing fully well many of her youths supported Obi during the Presidential election against their own is most unfortunate. So when you continue to act this way, you are actually working against the chances of future support of some of us that has supported Igbo candidate before. Continue, at least your behavior is teaching us lessons not to trust you. |
