Coronabirus:

You're seriously suffering from extreme hate and poor mental reasoning for completely deviating from the thread to descend ur hates on North without waiting for the right thread to express ur hatred.
Most states created in Nigeria are as a result of socio-political tension mostly marginalisation of some section of the old states by more advantaged section. [Go and check facts from each state created]
For instance, within the current states in Nigeria there are always rising issues of power shift from one senatorial zone to another which in wise states who don't dwell on one political party lead to tension & disrupt of the agreement and consequently lead to political brouhaha even among states with the same tribe and religion. Right now SE and some SS, Benue, Taraba, states are facing communal clashes due to land dispute, those places if given chance they'll seek for state creation. Moreover, religious tension is another factor. If u ask Southern Kaduna Christian dominated part may ask for Independence, if u ask JOS North where is Muslims dominated part they'll ask for the same thing not knowing that if Africans will eschew religious intolerance, bias, ethno-religious bigotry and struggle for dominance it will be better for us to live together for more understanding & exposure. That's why I respect Yoruba people for their level of religious tolerance despite the religious line existing between them.
State created by Military brought more peace and socio-political cohesion than your bias assertion. North has enough land before your demi gods brought us together!
If NASS ask groups to present the papers from those asking for state creation there will be need of states more than the co-existing ones.

I almost agree with you up to 50% but for your lack of decent social language. Internal wranglings are there no doubt but there's no way you can successfully rewrite the history of atrocities committed by the military especially under IBB and Abacha just to favour the North against the South. You may continue your blind arguments and ignore the fact that I have highlighted, one thing is sure, Nigeria will still come back to address those issues or the issues will disolve Nigeria as a political entity.
Politics / Re: Petrol Landing Cost Hits ₦216, Daily Subsidy Now ₦4.64 Billion by middlebelter(m): 10:22am On Apr 21, 2021
Whatever the objective of this information is doesn't matter to Nigerians. He who fails to plan plans to fail. If since 2015, GMB didn't know the need to prioritize the repair of the Refineries, then who is to blame? Did he not use it as a campaign point? what happened to his memory?Or was he waiting for Dangote Refineries? I hope Dongpte will be able to bail him out?

Knowing how central the running of the refineries is to the nation's economy and being the Minister of Petroleum Resources, I put it to him that he has failed Nigerians. If GEJ didn't fix the Refineries, we expected him to fix them as promised so that we won't be at the mercy of the global fluctuations in the price of PMS. We were buying at N87 per litre and Naira was about N200/$1, today our money is becoming more and more worthless and ior will some e-warriors will come here to defend him?

GMB, the worst leader in Nigeria history to date even Abacha is better than him in all indices.
Politics / Re: Are The Old Midwest More Aligned To South East Or South West by middlebelter(m): 7:14am On Apr 20, 2021
It is a difficult question to answer. Old Mid-West is actually part of the West and should remain so. However, for political negotiations purposes, Abacha created six geopolitical zones primarily to benefit the North with massive landmass to the detriment of the South.

When our fathers negotiated the independence of the geographical expression called Nigeria, it was done on a tripod. Modern society or country are created on negotiations table if they intend to co-exist not a single region called North using advantage of military dominance to oppress others. Six Geopolitical zones was never negotiated, it was imposed. So where is the HQ of SS? Benin or Port Harcourt?
My take , if the Mid West wish to be part of SS, it must be negotiated not imposed. Port Harcourt has always been part of SE.

Since we are in a church, we are dealing with a spiritual matter.
One thing you need to know us that the devil use to ho to churches and has millions of hus agents there to distract people from getting the blessing of salvation.

First, it starts with your mind, distracting you from the message coming from the pulpit, secondly, it will divert your attention to other unnecessary or imperfect arrangements in the church and care is not taking right in the sanctuary, sin will begin. Devil will use all your sense organs to distract you.

Solution, be steadfast, pay attention to the message of salvation from the pulpit, start praying from your heart, God I come to meet you here to solve all my problems, don't allow satan take advantage of me.
Resist the devils and they will flee from you.

This igbo guy was comparing his fat sister to another fat girl in class

It was so obvious that it was the igbo guy sister that was prettier
But the yoruba boy quicky chose the other girl

Yet yorubas, say kalabari hate igbos
Kalabari hate for igbos might be obvious
But everyone hates igbos in their own way

Telling a big lie. In Nigeria today, there's no other tribe that married igbos than Yoruba except igbo-to-igbo . So, also, Igbo men married more Yoruba than any other tribe.

Yes sentiments are there and I think sentiments will always be there, but it can't override the facts on ground.

Much as am in support of restructuring or self determination to free us from Buhari/Filanis bondage, I disagree with Iba Gani Adam's on six -Geopolitical zone used in 1995 constitutional conference. That zoning is a creation of the military(Absvhs) whose pro Morth agenda is unmistakable.

Nigeria independence was negotiated and created on a tripod. The North, West and East. Now if we are going to have six -geopolitical zones, it has to be negotiated , starting first with our initial structure mother with military imposed structures that gives unfair advantages to the Fulanis motnonly to dominate the entire minorities in the North , but the entire country.

Aren't they confused. What message are they trying to pass across? How many churches has been burnt down in the same North and Christians killed and you are using your church's money to build a Mosque to oppose your beliefs?
Whosoever is behind that decision deserves to be sacked. Look at the crises been perpetrated in Kwara state by a Jihadist Governor against Christian.

Do you know why? All the IGP before OBJ were Fulani/Hausa imposed by military. So, let Buhari continue, after his tenure none of them will taste it until another Fulani man becomes President.
Obj tried to correct the error by appointing southern to balance the injustice but GMB has returned to it again. Fulanis has been spotted for their domineering tendencies. It is either we breakup or restructure. Otherwise, this game will continue. Now I understand Ojukwu better only his strategies was wrong.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Idriss Deby: Boko Haram's Resilience Is Unprecedented by middlebelter(m): 7:17am On Mar 28, 2021
owobokiri:
Read carefully:

1)Chad and her blood gulping president know everything about Boko Haram.
This man has been fighting and killing since the 70s. Fought with Nigeria, fought with Libya, sent rebels into the heart of Khartoum some years back.. Idris was born to war...

2)The French and the Americans have some troops stationed in Chad!
Americans have a base in Niger with new facilities for drones!
Under Jonathan, the Nigerian government allowed the Americans to fly their drones across the north east airspace to "gather intelligence" on Boko! Very naive if you ask me, .. Someone might be telling Boko Haram about troops movements!

3)Boko seldoms disturbs Chad!
The Chadian president used to be the army chief in the 80s under Hussien Habre before turning against him. He was the army head when Nigeria fought a very swift but brutal war with Chad over her incursions into Nigeria! Buhari was commanding Nigerian troops then..

4)Locals in north eastern villages have CONSISTENTLY complained of helicopters dropping supplies to Boko Haram fighters in the bush!
According to them, the pilots are mostly whites!
One such helicopter crashed and actually a white was caught, dollars too! Leaks revealed Turkeys involvement. Countries loyal to America refused to sell weapons to Nigeria under Jonathan following Americas instructions..

5) IMPORTANT:
The French are increasingly worried about Nigerias "growth", especially under Jonathan and are thinking that a strong regional super power in west africa will undermine her amazingly lucrative imperialist ventures here! They're thinking of the future here and might be toying with the idea of balkanizing Nigeria..
Idris Derby is a stooge of the French, just like Eyadema, Biya, Bongo, Nguesso, Quattara, and most presidents of French speaking African countries..

6) IMPORTANT AGAIN:
Actually, Nigeria is now totally encircled by western forces, but because we have been very unfortunate with a series of dumb governments, this issue is seldom discussed.
There are French military bases in Cameroon, Niger, Chad and Benin Republic, together with the AFRICOM base in Niger.. All our neighbors! Pretending they're fighting isis, while Boko Haram grows..

Reach your own conclusions but mine is simple:
Boko Haram is a typical western "state destabilizing project" unleashed to subvert the abilities of a growing economy to challenge the neo-colonial status quo! Such projects are not new. Remember the Ortegas in South America? They were fighting insurgents like this, just that it's easier to achieve the goals here with religious zealots.. Shekau doesn't even know he's a stooge. Not sure he knows where his weapons are coming from..But the presidents of Niger, Chad and all these French West African colonies are aware.
What's more? Most of them are getting some crude oil stolen from Nigeria and so, do find the project relatively rewarding! They can't object anyways, if they do, there will be a coup the next week...

Sound analysis. Yes we have been made to conclude that Nigeria can't work.GMB unfortunately is not helping matter with his parochial style of leadership.

I pray we survive this onslaught.

Education / Re: Kwara Hijab Controversy: Government Deploys Security To Schools In Ilorin by middlebelter(m): 8:49am On Mar 09, 2021
This Kwara Governor is the worst is Nigeria. I used to think Yahaya Bello is the worst, but now I know better. All the Christians in Kwara state shouting o to ge! Can you repeat your slogan now? Don't you wish to continue with Bukola Saraki now? Even Lai Mohammed and the governor that orchestrated "o to ge" are fighting.
What is he trying to achieve by setting the people against each other? Has the schools not been there before he was born? Why can't he build more schools for Muslims and equip it to accommodate as many as possible Hijab wearing students and allow the Christians to continue the management of their schools? You think because the Muslims are majority? What is something happen and you now have a powerful Christian Governors that reverse all these policies and then now ask Christians students attending Muslim schools to dress in their church uniforms to school?

Only a failure will make religion an issue in public governance. The Governor is trying to use crisis to cover his failure with the active backing of some fanatics. The Christians are not your enemies. If Ilorin become so big toady it is because it happened to be a state capital and the Christians you are persecuting in Ilorin and Kwara state today may not be able to fight back but history will never be kind to you.

When Buhari came, he slogan; change, when this Governor came, he said ; o to ge. botj are massively failing using either religion or tribalism.

We need to understand that Nigeria is no longer the first and no longer as important globally when it comes to Africa affairs anymore. When we do, we will not see this as a news. The only reason this is a news is because we think we should be the first to get the call in Africa based on our status but we must realise that it's all in the past now. Others have moved ahead.

Education / Re: Kwara’s Hijab Controversy Continues Despite Govt’s Directive by middlebelter(m): 4:00pm On Mar 02, 2021
This Governor is really sowing seed of discord , I pray he end well. These schools have been there perharps before he was born and you just wake up suddenly one day because of some religious extremist pushing anti -Christian policies asking them to allow usage of Hijab in a Christian school? These are the test of fairness on this matter:

Can the Governor allow Christian to enter mosque with their shoes on? Are the Christian schools the only schools in the city ? If the Governor was not instigating crisis to cover his poor performances, while can't he expand the none- missionary schools to accommodate the Hijab wearing Muslims? Turn the table around and imagine a Christian Governor treating the Muslim minorities these way, the noise will be un if the unbearable. Now the Yorubaland will separate from North, Ilorin and Ilorin Muslims in particular is a major problem the SW has to solve.

This provocative statement by Myetti Allah has to stop. Imagine this criminal group calling for arrest of Sunday Igboho?

Nobody is saying that all of you are criminal or that there are no criminals among the Yorubas, but we are saying majority of the Fulanis are now criminals and unfortunately, many of your leaders are strongly defending the kidnappers talking all forms of rubbish. The Bauchi state governor said Fulanis should be allowed to stay in the forest when they constitute serious dangers to farmers, saying that carrying gun by Fulani is for selfdefense to kill the farmers after the cattle have eaten their crops.

Through this your support for criminals, you have succeeded in uniting other tribes against the Fulanis and except you rig an election, nobody will like to vote a Fulani man again. Buhari is one mistake too much for Nigeria and Nigerians.

You think think the South can't feed themselves? We want to wait and see the reaction of GMB to this stupid idea and then see how the South will respond. When the stop fuel from flowing North you will know your level. The south has the coast to import food. You are taking this your manipulation too far.
Politics / Re: Fulanis Are Not Terrorists And Bandits - Sultan Of Sokoto by middlebelter(m): 5:33pm On Feb 25, 2021
Mr Sultan, it is not about what you say on Fulani tribe, it is about people's experience with your tribesmen. You can continue to say not all Fulani are terrorist till 2023, it won't change the fact that your people are terrorizing other tribes in this country and your tribesman who is the Commander-in-Chief of armed Forces has been looking helplessly.

You just tilt the table a bit and imagine other tribes killing and kidnapping Fulanis the way your tribesmen have been doing and imagine your response, the response of GMB or El-Rufai. The truth is ; we know you by your actions not by what you want us to believe about you,.

I see no reason why Muslim students should be denied
their constitutional rights.

All Muslim students, in particular, female students should be allowed to dress in Hijab since these schools are for the public.

“Are the schools not grant-aided? So you want to use
public money to persecute Muslim children until they
submit to forceful conversion? Even if they are
missionary schools, must they force female Muslim
students to strip? We are not surprised because it is
part of their old way of forceful conversion. Nigerian
Christians should desist from using Muslim children to
subject their parents to psychological trauma. We will
not go back to slavery. Enough is enough.

You better be sure of what you are talking about. These schools were missionaries schools set up by Christian, while will you want to impose Muslim dressing on Christian School, is that not religious persecution? Now this is another dimension to divide Yoruba land and hand it over to Fulani. Please are all Kwarans Muslim? Yes they may be majority but it doesn't confer on the politicians to start a religious crisis in Kwara.
