If Gov. Fubara can be swayed. He could use his position as governor to reduce the votes APC will get in Rivers State.

You know why i don't vote and play politics?

People make individual decisions and carry out campaign based on selfish desires and their decisions hurt and destroy lives.
When asked later if they regret their decision, they say No.

Mr. foreign ministers stance will cause the death of thousands and many more in the future in the middle belt and south of Nigeria...and see how he talks about it with so much zeal. His hands are stained with the blood of the innocent, including anyone who comes out to say that there is no Christian Genocide in Nigeria.

We have to know that if sad realities happen to people because of our choices, we bear responsibility whether we like it or not.

PS: I say this having in mind my neighbor, Mr. Austin who lives downstairs. He voted for Buhari and also voted for Tinubu and says he has no regrets about it. Damn, the blood of those who have died and the anguish of those who suffer these administrations will continue to haunt you.

No. MNK from what i see is someone who is repulsed by the way Nigeria has treated his people after the civil war, and truth be told, Nigeria has held grudges against the igbo people for far too long. If we don't want them, then let them go.

What was MNK airing on radio? Is it not the islamization of Nigeria agenda perpetrated by the herdsmen and Bokoharam? and the need for people to arm themselves. He also spoke to the Yorubas to rise up and protect their lands, the middle belterns to stand up and fight, he encouraged everyone to take up arms because there may be sudden attack by the jihadists. I am Ijaw, but i keep asking myself, where is the lie in all of the things he said?

It is the same issue we are having now with the U.S threatening to go after the insurgents because the Nigerian government have permitted them to kill the Nigerians.

So, if what he did is terrorism, and the citizens of Nigeria agree it is terrorism, then we have given our consent to be killed and annihilated by the jihadists. The FGN has not even listed Bokoharam or the Herdsmen who have murdered people in the thousands as a terrorist organization, but has now labelled MNK, who only voiced violent proceeds from his mouth because of threats by jihadists, a terrorist.

All the noises are not necessary. Give us the needed intelligence and ammunition to finish these terrorists and watch how things will change quickly.
Do you know that during Trump's first term in office, Buhari visited the white house to sign bilateral agreements between Nigeria and the USA, and Donald Trump told him just before they signed the agreement to "stop the killing of Christians". There was a video in circulation regarding that. Trump went ahead to designate Nigeria a CPC, but the democrats delisted Nigeria afterwards. The US government have documented so well the killings of the Christian population in the North for years. So when i hear the "they're interested in our resources" claim, i know it is a leftist agenda. America has much more oil reserves than Nigeria, in fact the rare earth materials that we might be scared that America wants from us, we have a measly 13,000 metric tons, while the US is 45,000 metric tons.

During the kidnap of the Chibok girls, the white house sent some troops to rescue the girls. Theses troops worked with the Nigerian military. They told the Nigerian military the plan - deploy poisonous gas on the bandits and then rescue the girls. Do you know that when the troops surrounded the terrorists, they discovered that the terrorists had gas masks on? It was after that occasion that the US have continued to refuse working with the Nigerian Army, because of trust issues. This clearly shows that they know that the terrorists are in the Nigerian government. Even some of the weapons sold to Nigeria to fight the insurgents have been found with the terrorists...how will the US not ban Nigeria from buying weapons?

My anger is directed towards those Nigerians who keep saying that there is no Genocide in Nigeria, when we know that there is an islamization agenda in Nigeria. The insurgents are spreading down south and we seen the casualties they leave behind. What religion do the citizens in the middle belt and south practice? Christianity. Would it be false, then if anybody say there is a genocide against Christians? No.

There is a phrase found in the book of these fulani jihadist. they vowed to conquer, "until they deep their Koran in the atlantic." This is because all the lands down to the atlantic is theirs as told to them by their father Usman Danfodio. These things i say are actually true and you think the US doesnt know them? So my brother, there is a deliberate and systematic killing of ethnic minorities of the middle belt and the south and this is for selfish and religious purposes and the Nigerian government, made up of mostly the fulani people are spearheading this killing. The US government have been documenting it for years - go to jihadwatch.org

The Nigerian government has never declared Boko Haram a terrorist organization. So why have they agreed to America's support to fight them.? Very fishy. The government knows and funds the terrorists

Many foreign nationals have called the Nigerian government a terrorist organization, just like Cuba, North Korea, Iran and Syria.

The terrorist are funded through the Nigerian financial system, there's no way the Nigerian government cannot freeze their funds, but have they done so? No. There is no way the government cannot close down on their hideouts and crush them. Have they done so? No. Now we have all manner of insurgents - Bokoharam, ISWAP, Lakurawa etc.

It's simple, the government is the terrorist. So why should they be given weapons of mass destruction? It will end up been used on innocent people, as has been seen.

US has not used poision gas in warfare since WW1.

Again, most of Borno is flat land. Using gas in one place does not mean it would stay in that place...it would spread across a wide area and affect a lot of innocents

Also, as you yourself have said, Boko was not keeping the girls in one place.

Had USA Used the gas, the results would have been a massive PR disaster for nigeria. and the USA.
Are the U.S. saints in war? i don't think so. i don't know why you find it hard to believe that the US army can deploy poisonous gas on terrorist who kill and harm innocent people.

Many accusations of war crimes by U.S. forces or their allies face limited investigation or prosecution. In some cases, investigations were dropped due to political pressure, and President Donald Trump pardoned several U.S. military personnel accused or convicted of war crimes in Afghanistan.

The story appears in a nigerian online site, and does not appear anywhere else.

Also, the problem with gas is that it spreads. Also, boko was known to hide 'among the people'. If gas was pumped into the area, it would spread and probably kill more innocent people in surrounding settlements'

Saddam Hussein used gas on the kurds. He also made sure he gassed people living in a valley, not in flatland, otherwise, the gas would have spread and killed even more.

Remember the idea was tried in Russia, and a lot of hostages died, and many had to spend some time in hospital, (but all the terorists were killed by Spestnaz troops wearing gas mask)

P.S Chibok was not the only time Boko kidnapped young women by the way. As at one point there were 2000 or more young girls in boko captivity. Problem was seroous.

PPS 2. The investigative journalist Ahmed Sadiq allegedly got a commitment from Shekau himself to free the girls within one week (this was reported by the NYT), with no conditions, but the government then said no.
You have to put into consideration that the US Army works with intel. If they chose to deploy poisonous gas, then they were sure that these were terrorists. Perhaps a meetings of them of some sorts.

1. I doubt that there is any truth in the gas mask story. For a start, it would have even killed and maimed a lot of the girls, and second, it may have even killed a lot of innocent people, plus the US doesn't use gas in warfare.

Plus gas doesn't stay in one place, and I dlubt boko keptthe girls in one place. Gas moves around. It would not only have killed the terrorists, it may have blown down wind and killed a lot of innocent villagers who know nothing. Big propaganda against the US results...USA is killing innocent people.

Yes, the Russians used it in 2013, to rescue hostages taken by chechnen extremists, but a lot of innocent hostages also died, plus they had to take a lot of hostages to hospitals. Grade A hospitals.

2. Considering that Libya bought a lot of weapons from US and europe in other countries, and a lot of the weapons were looted from the armouries of Ghaddafi in 2012...many of them found their way into the hands of terrorists.

3. Nigeria also secured tucano jets long after the chibok kidnap, and these tucano jets have been used to hit bandits and bokoists solely
Don't doubt it. It is an information passed to me by a source not Nigerian, but American intelligence.

The girls were in a secured location..its was a terrorist hideout. They were going to neutralize the terrorists first, then have them take them to the location of the girls.

you already know it is not today they have been killing Nigerians in various parts of the country. You also know it is not today south america has been producing drugs that are classified as "illegal". I mean Nigeria even suffered an arms embargo that restricted acquisition of military hardware that would have saved more Nigerian lives if the deals were successful. Guess who sanctioned Nigeria?

Now Nigeria has signed critical oil deals with China and India, Nigeria suddenly needs "military support". They want Nigeria to come begging for loans as usual so our economy never grows.

These your favorite world powers do not care about Nigerian christians. They would have taken them in and settled your nigerian christians in their country like was done for white South African farmers earlier this year when they were being attacked.
Take a look at what happened in Niger, Mali, Burkina faso and nearly all former French colonies. They have severed ties with France. It was said that their reserves were stored in Paris. They were entitled to only a fraction of their resources as the other was supposedly being saved up for them by France. Its such a shame that France, would still be practicing such imperialism in this century with impunity. Only if these countries had direct assess to their resources all these years, they would be more developed. My point?

Unlike these countries, Nigeria has largely had assess to its resources since 1960 at least. The British cared enough, even more than France to leave us with our resources. They cared more than France. What have we done with the resources 65 years since independence? Needless to say, we have squandered the proceeds without utilizing them for development. Now, oil prices are dwindling, the country cannot sustain only on oil because of massive corruption of the highest level. Who do you want to blame as to why we always need to borrow money? Who do you want to blame that Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world? Who do you have to blame that more than 52,000 Christians have been killed in Nigeria in the past 20 years?

Our problem is not caused by USA or Britain...but our greed, nepotism, and wickedness. Whatever the world power does, they do for their benefit. We should've also done things for our benefit too, but we haven't. We have run Nigeria like a business to benefit the elites and the outcome is what we see today. And because we are so stupid, we want to move out of our marriage because our husband cheated, now we are moving into the arms of a married man. You really think Russia and China are better than the USA? Hmm. That's a discussion for another time. But just know its about who dominates who...world powers are jostling to topple each other and they do it at the expense of countries like Nigeria. Its only because we are a paper republic that we are not also a world power - because, Nigeria should, if we had done things to our advantage.

We are a strange generation that are very foolish and cowardly.

Time and time again we witness and hear reports of killings in Kaduna, Katsina, Kebbi, Benue, Jos, Kwara, Bornu, Niger, Enugu, Edo states etc.

We have heard this news of killings for some years now. People been attacked in the night while they are sleeping, burned alive and macheted. We see the dead bodies with machete cuts. These news have terrified us.

For a moment, just forget about the fact that these victims might be Christians. Are the killings not bad in themselves? If a World power like the USA has decided to come help us snuff-out the savages that perpetrate these heinous acts, are we not supposed to be happy. Even if the USA will decide to part away with some of our resources in a deal, so that they can help us crush these Boko boys, should we have a problem with it? Are you benefitting from the resources as we speak?

I'm so surprised that some Nigerians come to social media to say no to Trump coming to help Nigeria fight terrorists. Like, have you ever lost someone because of these terrorist? People have lost entire family and the Nigerian government have done nothing about it. We even heard of a man who killed a herdsman in the process of self-defense and he was jailed.

Please lets be guided o. APC and the Nigerian government no send anybody....you shouldnt allow them influence you to reject something that will make the land peaceful again.

I read the document and i must say that any Nigerian who opens their mouth to say that there is no "genocide" in Nigeria is either in the payroll of the APC or is grossly stupid and naive.

What is a genocide?

Oxford dictionary: "The deliberate and systematic killing or persecution of a large number of people from a particular national or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group."

The question is: What do we know as the reason for the killings by the Fulani herdsmen?

They kill ethnic minorities in the north, middle belt and they are now active in the south west, south east and south south. They kill communities and claim the land by resettling the land, they have often been called landgrabbers. The herdsman also have an islamization agenda. We know this because after they came into Nigeria in the 1820's, they killed the king in Sokoto and put their emir...this is what they have done in many cities they have dominated.

So they kill and take possession of land and establish their religion. Who are they up against? minority ethnic groups in the north and middle belt as well as ethnic groups in the south. THIS IS A GENOCIDE AGAINST ETHNIC GROUPS IN NIGERIA.
SportsRe: Arsenal Defense Situation Right Now. by Middleborn:
Arsenal have been up against the PGMOL for 3 years...they have been officiated differently.

For three years, the PGMOL have successfully taken points from Arsenal through the worst refereeing decisions we have ever seen (this fact BTW is undebatable). Now Arsenal is in a position where refereeing decisions cannot stop their win, a case in point is the Gyokeres penalty in the Newcastle vs Arsenal game - so shameful. Everyone thought the referee went to the monitor because he was considering sending off Nick Pope. Only for him to cancel the penalty. This brought a backlash from several retired renowned English referees.

This season, however the loosed end on the Arsenal side has been tied - we have 2 good players for each position, we can afford injuries. We have also found a way to win against teams that play low block against us. Our set piece is tearing teams to pieces...and no team right now has figured out how to stop Arsenal (i actually hope this continues for 3 more seasons). The PGMOL are furious with Arsenal because they're looking for how to indict us, but we are not breaking any rules.

The other loosed end is the PGMOL. I think after that howler of a decision to cancel the Gyokeres penalty. they are being careful so that their intentions don't come out so glaring. The PGMOL are also confused right now. For them to exploit Arsenal, they need to back a team to contend with Arsenal. They backed their sweetheart - Liverpool from the start of the season, but Liverpool have lost their bearing....now the PGMOL is looking for another sweetheart, and it looks like they want to wait to see how the next few weeks will pan out. Maybe United will close the gap on Arsenal so that they can adopt them, or Liverpool will resurface.

Arsenal doesnt look like they will take their foot off the gas even for a second this season. Very soon, they will welcome Kia Hevertz, Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard, Noni Madueke etc. For any one of you who think that there will be banana pills for Arsenal in Dec/Jan, think again...the Arsenal team have not yet clicked into full gear. There will be more goals in the second half of the season. The defense will break the 15 goal a season record held by Chelsea.

Arsenal will be Premier league champions in may....they will also win the FA cup, Champions league and club world cup. It will be a quadriple season for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal.

Kindly take timber out of the least....he is not on there level.....asides the fact that he is physical....there are many physical right backs in Europe ..no be to just carry muscle
Technically the remaning 3 are far ahead...but if wedecide to just put him...then it will be

1) Hakimi.....he is the total définition of a modern day right back ...his quality on the ball is super great...an cam even drop into attack and score goals...his passing is superb too..either in field or from the right wing...boy can even deputize as a winger

2) Trent......He is also on another level and can even play in field ...his passing is elite and carries a strong goal threat...he has been on the top for years

3) James ....if fit he is a monster....especially with crosses , still don't think there is any right back in the list that can cross the ball like him ...and again he is one of the most experienced right back u can have ..he as played a right back...a center defender ...a right winger back and now he is even playing sometimes in midfield ..his delivery and his shot accuracy is crazy too
Timber is very underrated.

If you watch Arsenal games, he's just a notch below Gabriel and Saliba.

He's:

1. Stalwart
2. Technical
3. Can Read the game
4. Has Stamina
5. Has Assists
6. Can play to instruction
7. Dibbles so good. Best Defensive dribbler in that back 4

Having said that, only Hakimi is ahead of Timber in that list. Timber is even ahead of Hakimi in his defensive abilities, as Hakimi only edges him in an overall assessment.
RomanceRe: Would You Do DNA Test Or Let The Sleeping Dog Lie? by Middleborn: 10:05am On Oct 16, 2025
I have a son, he's 2 years and 5 months old.

The day my wife did a pregnancy test with a PT strip and confirmed she was pregnant, she immediately burst into tears like I've never seen her before. Before then, i hadn't had sex with her for a month. I immediately suspected that she had cheated on me, so while she was crying i asked her if there was something she wanted to tell me about the pregnancy. in her crying voice, she said she's broken because we have been trying to leave the country to the UK through work (she had had an interview for UK care worker and passed, but when she submitted further documents they said the job wasn't there anymore) and this jeopardizes our plans.

I was confused, as i tried to monitor her reactions to know if she was hiding the truth. I had my suspicion still.

Fast forward to 9 months and the baby is born, a boy and our second child (first one's a girl, now 4 years). He looked like my younger brother. As the baby grew up, he was a carbon copy of my younger brother. I didn't know how to feel - good that he looks like my family or bad that she may have cheated on me with my brother. Although my younger brother didn't stay with us, but there was a day my wife went to my mum's place while i was at work and spent the whole day there and for most of the time, she was alone with my younger brother, and this happened in between when we last had sex and when she felt she was pregnant and did the test. I didn't like where my mind was wandering to.

I forced myself to believe that the little boy looks like my younger brother only because he's family and that can happen, but i told myself i will do a DNA test. Now the boy is 2 years and i'm ready for the DNA test.

PS: For anyone who may feel that my mind wanders unnecessarily too far. I feel that i have a daughter with the girl i was dating before i met my wife (i posted about this here on Nairaland: https://www.nairaland.com/7516635/think-daughter-wife-doesnt-know ) and i constantly feel that it may come back to haunt me in a situation like this.

The masses don't have anything to show for the resources that they own. There's nothing to show for the removal of subsidy. The president himself if very corrupt, his cabinet members are corrupt, the opposition party members are corrupt...the government offices will steal with every opportunity they get. Every government official has a price, they can be bought and APC wants Nigerians to believe the money that will be taxed will not be stolen, but will be used for Nigerians.

I think that whoever brings these ideas is both wicked and stupid. Nigeria is one of the poverty capitals of the world, for crying out loud. Before you tax them, you have to make sure that you solve power (electricity), create Jobs, raise the minimum wage, bridge inequality and redistribute wealth, improve the criminal justice system and make policies that encourage successful re-entry.

Why do they need taxes when we get so much from the oil? Maybe they want all the oil money for themselves.

Nigerians are the greatest risk takers on the planet. Either that or they are highly ignorant about the consequences of these kinds of crime.

How can one in God's green earth stay in the UK and defraud the USA? Two countries who are the same people.

That's a death wish.

That's right...

I was watching his podcast recently and couldn't help thinking the same.

Unfortunate he might never see Nigeria get better.

He was one of the greatest leaders Nigeria ever had though. I can see how passionately he sometimes speaks about a better Nigeria.

Dude did his best as president but somehow the trajectory of progress after his tenure was diverted by those after him. Instead of building on what progress was made under him

It's unfortunate we now find ourselves in the situation where we presently are in!
You seriously think that Nigeria will be better?

Please, I'm here telling you not to even waste your time to expect Nigeria to be better. I'm not being cynical, I'm being totally realistic and honest.

The origin of the country dispels any hope that there will ever be a change for good. Unless the entire country is dismantled totally and smaller entities are built along interest-lines.

When the British came in from the south, they met villages and fishing camps. These villagers fought the British for years until the British partly subdued them and brokered a peace treaty with them. With every Riverine community they passed, they promised peace and no harm, they asked to be to be allowed to explore the land (they already knew the land was rich in oil and gas).

When the British explored farther inland, up to Lokoja, they met the Fulani who were also on a quest to conquer more territories. There was a small war, but the British soon noticed that the Fulani also were imperialists like them and all they wanted was to conquer and acquire, they also wanted to spread Islam to the territories down south until the Atlantic. The British bought the Royal Niger company and owned all the territories along the Niger and Benue Rivers.

Long story short, they Amalgamated Northern Nigeria with southern Nigeria. They knew that the Fulani's wanted the land and resources of the peoples in the south, they didn't obey the peace treaties they had signed with the riverine communities, they neither consulted the riverine communities and fishing camps they met on their way into Nigeria before the Amalgamation.

The British knew they would leave the territory but they developed a way to maintain control over the resources. Well guess what, they still control Nigeria, they only do it in a clandestine way, different from how the French did to Francophone countries under their watch.

So now we have a group of people in the south, east, middle and North who don't think that they are getting what they deserve from their ancestral land. They didn't even ask to be part of Nigeria, they had a life, religion and civilization taken away from them and now their lives are even endangered because their neighbors want to take their land and resources. There is also the British Kingdom who parasitically continues to live off Nigeria's resources and will never be sanctioned by the UN because they are the UN.

So now tell me where will the change come? You stand up to fight for your right, you are eliminated by the Nigerian government which country you did not even choose to join but was forced on you and you cannot reverse the decision, else you die. You lost all rights to your ancestral land and resources. Someone else from far away now owns the most valuable resources on your land.

Its not like you can go and file a complaint in the United Nation because they are also in it. You decide you are going to travel abroad and have a good life. Over there, you are racially discriminated, monitored cos by default you are looked at as a criminal, you are only on survival level as you have to do many jobs to just get by. Hardly can you become a millionaire. You cannot come back home because home is a jungle.

Now do you honestly think that the white man will allow Africa remove the cuffs from their hands and legs? They put the cuffs and they will make sure to replace it with stronger cuffs. You decide to go against the white man, they raise someone inside to eliminate you. We all do not have one voice, so we cannot all stand for one course.

So tell me again when you think Nigeria will change for the better.
RomanceRe: Girlfriend Dies In Boyfriend's House: How Best To Deal With This As A Man? by Middleborn: 1:39pm On Aug 25, 2025
In this present Nigeria, if that happened to you...once you confirm that she has actually died, just pack your most useful things, leave your house and lock the door behind you...then go really far away, don't even tell your family members where you going. Once you have gone really far, call your family and tell them everything, but not your location. Then call your neighbors, including your landlord and tell them that you are in a serious trouble. Explain everything that happened...so that they can alert the authorities. Tell them why you had to run.

In the current Nigeria system, if you do this, you haven't done wrong. You now have your life and time to prove your innocence from afar. The most important thing is that God knows you're innocent and when they do find the body and if they do an autopsy, they will find the truth.

Actually that incident was a penalty but Morocco is not ready to be crown champion is the cause!
The referee who officiated that final is an unbiased referee.

It hit the hand of the Nigerian player and appeared to be an obvious penalty, so she blew the whistle. But went to check for possible errors.

1. The distance between the Moroccan player who last hit the ball and the Nigerian player whose hand made contact with the ball is about a yard. its too close. When the distance is too close, it is assumed that there was nothing the Nigerian player could've done to avoid the contact and it could be foul-play from the Moroccan player Maybe she deliberately targeted the arm of the Nigerian player.

2. The Nigerian players arm was in a natural position.

Nigeria vs Morocco
Head to Head

Nigeria 8-0 Morocco WAFCON 1998

Nigeria 6-0 Morocco WAFCON 2000

Nigeria 1(4)-1(5) Morocco WAFCON 2022

The last time Nigeria faced Morocco in WAFCON 2022, the match produced two red cards and ended in a draw, with Morocco advancing on penalties. 5-4

So expect a very tough game with
Nigeria hoping to make it "mission X"
And Morocco looking for Thier first WAFCON trophy

Scores to settle 🤞
I remember the last game Nigeria played against Morocco where Nigeria had 2 red cards. That match was fixed...the referee couldnt even hide the fact that she was on payroll.

So sad.

We really should've told him all of these while he was still alive. Learn to say your appreciation while they are still alive.
The fact we don't say it reveals an ugly aspect of human nature, one of envy, competition, a lack of fore-thought etc.
CelebritiesRe: My Second Marriage To Sandra Onyebuchenuya Has Ended - Frank Edoho Speaks by Middleborn: 5:47am On Jun 29, 2025
How old if Frank Idoho? He shouldve known better that the modern woman in marriages are stress for the man. Their demands are endless, plus they all have manipulative personalities, some of which they don't carry out purposely, but is etched in their nature. They are not emotionally intelligent, they want to eat their cake and have it, they want to compete with you, generally they are feminists in marriage, the product of which is utter disrespect of their husbands etc.

So after a few years of marriage, a thinking man will come to realize all these things and ask himself: even if she has bore children for me, should i keep living in this toxic environment at the detriment of my wellbeing? In this situation, he may choose to walk out of the marriage. But many men don't do this because of the kids, their wives (because even if she does all of these negative stuff they have grown to have affection for her), religion, culture and custom etc. Whatever causes the end of that marriage, a thinking man knows that they are not getting into another marriage, period. While caring for their kids, they will not put themselves in that position where they will be tied in a marriage with a woman because the female gender are all the same. These men will love their company....and this is what will make them become even more successful.

I am in a marriage, but i whatever happens to this marriage, i will not get married for whatever reason again.

There is no logic to this statement even if it were true

However It is just a claim with no basis

Secondly what does BLACK mean

There are so many people with dark skin around the world e.g There are black Indians , black people in Papua New Guinea , Indonesia etc

Your assumption that Black people are necessarily all AFrican or related to Africans is untrue

The Aboriginal peoples of Australia are black .

They are genetically unrelated to Black Africans

If there were Black Jews which remains unproven why do you assume they have anything to do with black Africans

The people in this photo are not African they are Indians and have no connection to Africa

Genetic studies do not link them to Africa

So when records use the word BLACK do not assume it has anything to do with us
Nearly every study i check on the internet, including wikipedia suggests that black Indians were indeed from the Bantu people of east Africa
