Foreign AffairsRe: Is The Israel Of 1948 The Same Israel In The Bible? by Middleborn: 10:45am On Jun 20, 2025
aribisala0:
The long and short of it is that SOME PEOPLE returned in 1948 claiming that their ancestors were the HEBREWS OF THE BIBLE

Two things
1. We do not know whether their claim is true
2. Even if it is true does that entitle them to ask those living there to pack out and should that principle apply everywhere

The main problem our people have today is Christianity and Islam . The worst things that happened to black people even worse that the slave trade

Funnily I do not get how being a Christian would make one sympathize with the Israelis who absolutely reject Christianity At least Muslims acknowledge their Jesus as a Prophet whilst Jews see him as a fraud

All 3 religions are not the business of black Africans
If there's any truth in the claim that the original Jews were black, then it has everything to do with Black Africans

I know what they are trying to do.

They want to rig the 2027 elections. They want to massively increase the number of voters for President Tinubu and all his APC guys. They would then justify it with the massive increase in the number of voters due to the penalty of non-voting.

The laws that we have in this country are meaningless, they are just to ensure some people have power and keep power.

You resurrected your thread from early 2023 with an update in late 2024.......very interesting.

Did you ever mention to your wife that you may have another daughter?

You seem so certain Rita's daughter is yours but only a DNA test can confirm that.
I haven't told my wife because I don't know what may become of us after I tell her.

After we got married, I was still actively communicating with Rita, mostly through chats. My wife noticed that Rita was a special friend to me and she asked if I dated her. I didn't know how to answer so I told her Rita wanted us to go out but we were just good friends. She believed me.

I didn't tell her the truth because I realized that my wife can't handle the truth.
After I told her she says I shouldn't be close to Rita cos she considers her in the same category as my ex.

I did an experiment one day. Once, Rita posted some videos of her daughter on Whatsapp. I thought I should show my daughter who is 3 years now and ask her who she thinks the girl is. When she saw the video she says 'its me". But says she doesn't remember when we videoed it. Their voices also sound the same.

At this time, I haven't spoken to Rita about it because I know for sure that once the can is opened I'm not sure where it could lead to. I think Rita will deny. She might start resenting me. But to me, the evidence is there to see.
I know only a DNA test can solve all of this...Rita will not agree to it, i know.

I looked at the lady and she had unsaid words. This is not just my bias. After meeting her, that was proof, no matter how inconclusive that there is a secret Rita and Afua keep.

Trust me, there's a mighty chance I'm correct.

Afua had a look that only I with knowledge about the events regarding Rita and I could understand. She obviously saw me from afar, recognized me and came to me with this "I finally meet the father of my friends daughter" face.
Most certainly she knows about the sexcapades Rita and I had.
FamilyRe: I Think I Have A Daughter And My Wife Doesn't Know by Middleborn(op):
So I ran into a lady two months ago while I was in the hospital with my wife and daughter (my daughter was ill).

She smiled at me and struggled to call my name, and eventually pronounced it correctly. I didn't recognize her, but she knew me. When I asked where we may have met, she said we hadn't. At this point, my wife looked at me with squinted eyes.

The lady then called her name (Afua).
At that moment my memory took me aback to Rita. Afua is Rita's best friend that I hadn't met. Rita had told me all about Afua and how they were best friends for life.

I immediately smiled back and told her I had heard so much about her, but hadn't met her yet. Then I wondered, if I hadn't met the lady, how did she know me? When I asked her, she said she saw pictures of me. Now, I didn't know Rita shared our story with her friend.

She looked so excited to meet me, and I could feel that she knew about the paternity of Rita's daughter. I had to explain to my wife that she's a good friend of Rita that I hadn't met.

I was introduced to a scholarship for international studies 4 months ago. The person who introduced me to the scholarship said the NGO, Farmers and traders welfare association of Rivers State is in collaboration with global innovation fund who have donors that sponsor students for international studies.

I paid some money for registration and completed a lengthy process that included two court affidavits and all my school documents as well as my NIN and sorts.

Fast forward to today, I got this text message from global innovation fund, Abuja. I don't know what to think.

Is this real? Is any one here also in the scholarship program?

Foreign AffairsRe: Ghana Announces 3 Weeks Of Power Cuts Due To Reduction In Gas From Nigeria by Middleborn: 9:14am On Jun 15, 2024
The Niger Delta region of Nigeria is probably the richest region in the whole of west Africa. With deposits of crude oil and even much more natural gas under the land.

When a region holds so much resources, people fight to possess the region. This is how the fight for resources started when the British made their way through the Atlantic into the Niger Delta in the early 1800's. They were in search for resources and they knew the rich deposits under the land in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.

The Fulani jihadist also made their way into Nigeria from Sokoto in the 1820, these were seeking for new territories to capture, they were land grabbers. As they conquered and headed south, they saw the lush green vegetations and knew they could have it all, in time, they met with the British in Lokoja. There was a small battle which ended when the British were able to come to an understanding with them.

For the British, it was purely business. They needed resources to fight wars and dominate the world. For the Fulani jihadists, it was finding more lands, especially lush green lands for their cattle and grabbing those lands by killing the inhabitants.

I don't know whether at this point you get where I'm going?
Nigeria started as a business venture. It was the resources in the richest part of west Africa - the Niger Delta that captured the interest of the forces at play today. This foundation I tell you is not good for a country. Since then, it has been business as usual. Exploration and exploitation...people getting rich over the resources and very little or nothing about improving the lives of the people. What about the people indigenous to these lands that have the rich deposits? They don't even have the voice to say "enough, i want to use my land as a see fit." The law of the country has put shackles on them.

So anyone who thinks Nigeria will one day be better should think again. When a house has a bad foundation, you don't continue to build upon the house, you destroy it and start from the foundation. Until we stop the exploration and exploitation system, we're all going downhill. But this cannot stop because the people in Nigeria are powerless. Theres so much money in the resources that the actors will do anything to keep it.

We are doomed for eternity.
If you have the means, just japa.

Greetings Nairalanders.

Please help me detect if these overseer job advert is a scam or not. I spoke with the agent
who posted it over the phone and he says he has a link in the embassy, hence he gets overseer job opportunities even before they are advertised. According to him, some of these jobs don't even last 6 hours before they are taken. He says once you pay the money and submit your passport info and CV, they start processing your visa and before long, it's ready and you can travel.

Please I'm counting on your assessment. My brother wants to go into business with these people and I have a strange feeling he's going to be scammed.

The cataclysm wiped out all their cities and technology. I created a thread about his few months ago. Check my topics.

After the cataclysm the few survivors moved further south and occupied the tropical terrains and restarted civilization from scratch, or as my research is beginning to show, new sets of humans were created/cloned and specifically put in certain regions. And I think this happened just few hundred years ago. I'll get into the cloning/creation later on.

Unlike the European, Asian and American inheritors, our ancestors didn't meet already made buildings and technology, so they had to clear the bushes and restart civilization from scratch. Hence why they were "underdeveloped" when the Europeans met them.
my question is, why would they want to hide this truth that there was a cataclysm in the past and that the human survivors inherited some knowledge, technology and edifices from destroyed old world?

Something is still not clear about this whole certificate saga.
If tinibu accually attended and graduated from CSU. What really happened to his getting his certificate from the school through the right channel like every other graduants of thrsame school that he had to forge a certificate? Why? Does it mean he was not issued a cert. onpon graduation or what? this is what I don‘t seem to get.
He claimed he lost his cert. I think it is most definitely a case of identity theft. But the discrepancies between the real CSU cert and the one he submitted to INEC is the first proof against Tinubu which is not complicated to unravel.
PoliticsTinubu Vs Nigeria by Middleborn(op): 6:09am On Oct 05, 2023
IT FINALLY BOILS DOWN TO A SIMPLE CHOICE: EITHER A PRESIDENT CALLED TINUBU OR A COUNTRY CALLED NIGERIA.

Nigeria has faced and survived many profound upheavals and turmoil in its short history as an independent country. It faced the 1966 crisis and the civil war that followed it. It faced the MKO Abiola debacle. In each of these events, we thought that the country was going to implode. But, miraculously, it did not. Only Nigerians would tempt the gods this far and still remain unbroken into smithereens. The current situation with Tinubu and his incredible certificate saga seem to be one more test of the gods and one push too far against destiny. For one man to be twice a governor of the richest state in Nigeria and accumulate so much control over the wealth of the people, and eventually clinched the claim to occupy the office of the president all based on questionable credentials is simply too much, isn’t it?

The issues arising from the outcome of the case of Atiku v. Tinubu in Chicago, USA, has raised huge political turbulence in Nigeria, which must now be analyzed in the context of Nigeria’s history of upheavals. The question now is: will Nigeria survive Tinubu presidency? The fallout of the Chicago case may very well lead to the unravelling of Nigeria. That the man Tinubu could fool millions of his countrymen and women for so long on something as basic as his educational history and records is mindboggling. Even more mindboggling is the fact that it would take last minute litigation in faraway Chicago to get close to the truth.

It is now obvious that Tinubu forged the academic records he submitted to the INEC. That is now beyond doubt. The question of whether he attended Chicago State University and graduated from there is not the question before the law. Rather, the question is whether the documents he submitted to INEC were actually issued and signed by those said to have signed them. A document prepared and signed by someone else is a forgery even if the contents of that document are accurate. A birth certificate signed by the Hospitals Accountant pretending to be the Hospital’s Medical Director is a forgery even if every piece of information on that Birth Certificate is true. So, the question at this point is not whether Tinubu attended that university. It is not whether he graduated from that university. Rather, the question and only question is whether the document he submitted came from that university and signed by the appropriate officials of that university. The answer to this question is now clearly no. This is because under deposition, the officials of Chicago State University officials stated that they “have no idea of where or how Tinubu obtained the certificate he submitted to the INEC”. That conclusively means that Tinubu produced the certificate from the wrong source. That is conclusively forgery.

Let us put the stories aside and choose the version that favors Tinubu the most. And that would be that he actually attended the university. He was graduated at some point. However, he lost his certificate. As the election approached, instead of swearing an affidavit that he had no certificate to back up his claims, he decided to manufacture a certificate that would state that he graduated from that university. In other words, let us assume that he attended the university and that he graduated from that university. However, by writing up a certificate for himself, he committed forgery. And by submitting the forged certificate to INEC, he stood disqualified under Nigeria’s Electoral Act of 2022. That is the basis upon which he should be disqualified.

Before we get to the disqualification of Tinubu, we need to address two procedural or technical issues of law that would come up. The first challenge is the issue of pleading format: At what point is an issue properly raised in pleadings in court? Following the case of Atiku v. Tinubu at the Court of Appeal in the first instance, Atiku did not raise the issue of certificate forgery in his Petition. It was in his Reply to the Answer that he raised it. In its judgment, the Court of Appeal refused to look into the certificate forgery allegation because according to it, Atiku did not raise it properly. (Instead of raising it in his Petition, he raised it in his Reply to the Tinubu’s Answer to Atiku’s Petition). This is the most blatant application of technicality in that judgment. It meant that the Court would turn its eyes away from the truth of the issue because it was not properly presented to it. That is disturbing indeed. It means that the court would allow a person to get away with a glaring wrongdoing because the victim was slow in complaining. But who is the victim of such a blatant violation of the electoral laws of Nigeria? It is actually the people that are victims. Our court therefore failed so obviously in its analysis of that point.

At the Supreme Court, the issue will arise again. Tinubu will urge the Supreme Court to use the same reasoning as the Court Appeal’s to turn a blind eye to the certificate issue. If the Supreme Court follows the Court of Appeal’s reasoning on that, it means that the entire discovery that came out of the Chicago Court trial would be of no consequence in the outcome of the appeal. I doubt that the Supreme Court would do that. The reason is clear: At the US District Court, Tinubu’s lawyers pointed out that the issue under consideration had been resolved by Nigerian Court of Appeal based on the fact that the Court of Appeal had held that the issue was not properly raised. That gave the Chicago Court an opportunity to deal with that question. And the Chicago Court refused to follow the technical path beaten out by the Nigerian Court of Appeal. The Chicago Court did not consider the issue resolved by the mere fact that it was not raised properly. By so doing, the Chicago Court sent a message to the Nigerian Supreme Court that such a critical issue ought not to be disposed of on mere technicality.

What Chicago Court did is what a disinterested and independent judiciary will do. So, the Chicago Court has set a tone that would hardly be ignored by the Nigerian Supreme Court. To ignore that tone would send a message to the world that the Nigerian Supreme Court justices are neither independent nor disinterested in the outcome of the case. That will make the Justices enablers of electoral fraud. I doubt that the Nigerian Supreme Court Justices would take such a risk.

Another procedural challenge Atiku would have at the Supreme Court is based on the fact that generally, a court exercising an appellate jurisdiction does not receive or review fresh facts or fresh evidence. The orientation of the court on appellate review of a judgment of a lower court is to restrict itself to the facts and evidence presented at the lower court. It does not take new evidence. Indeed, Tinubu’s lawyers have made that argument at the Chicago Court. They vehemently pointed out to the US District Court judge that the whole exercise of Atiku in Chicago would be of no moment because the Nigerian Supreme Court, being an appellate court, would not receive fresh evidence. But again, the judge did not think they were right. Hence, she went ahead with the trial all the way to her landmark judgment.

The question now is: Will the Nigerian Supreme Court receive evidence of discovery from Chicago even though such evidence did not feature at the trial at the Court of Appeal? That is: will the Nigerian Supreme Court receive fresh evidence? I admit that all over the world, it takes an exceptional circumstance for an appellate court to receive new evidence. But it is doable and it will be done by the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

A court of appeal will consider new evidence in exceptional circumstances where the evidence was not available or could not have been discovered at the time of the original trial. Some common conditions under which a court of appeal may consider new evidence include:

1. Newly discovered evidence: If the evidence is genuinely new and was not available at the time of trial, a court of appeal may consider its admissibility if it has the potential to change the outcome of the case.

2. Error in admitting or excluding evidence: If there was an error in admitting or excluding crucial evidence during the original trial, a court of appeal may consider new evidence that could remedy this error.

3. Fraud or misconduct: If there is evidence of fraud or misconduct by either party or a juror, a court of appeal may consider new evidence that exposes the unfairness of the original trial.

4. Ineffective assistance of counsel: If new evidence reveals that the defendant's lawyer provided ineffective assistance during the trial, a court of appeal may consider this evidence and potentially grant a new trial.

5. Constitutional violations: If there is evidence that constitutional rights were violated during the trial, such as the right to a fair trial, a court of appeal may consider new evidence that supports this claim.

It is important to note that the conditions for considering new evidence may vary slightly among different jurisdictions and legal systems. But the above conditions are applicable in Nigeria.

What will happen if the discovery from Chicago is accepted into evidence by the Nigerian Supreme Court? It is highly likely that the Supreme Court would come to the conclusion that Tinubu submitted forged certificate to the INEC and on that ground he would stand disqualified.

I deliberately limited the above analysis to the law of this case and the trials. I did not want to address the social implications of the fact that the case in Chicago has presented Nigeria to the world as a country of crooks. The damage done to Nigeria’s reputation is irreparable. Now, ironically, one can understand why Tinubu’s lawyers argued that allowing the case to go on would cause irreparable damage to Nigeria. Yes, it did. But that is ultimately in the interest of Nigeria for the truth to come out.

Questions.

1. CSU already said he graduated from their school. U think they were not aware of the implications? They knew he was the president and a public figure.

2. They already said they don't keep copies. So it is a new copy to be printed. How do u validate that against what he submitted?

3. Even if something is amiss, do you think CSU will like to indict themselves and soil their reputation? Eg that Tinubu joined the school as a woman and graduated as a man? That they don't do due diligence on their students?
Do we really think CSU will like to soil their reputation?

4. And why will BAT submit a copy of his certificate different from what the school has? When as an old fox, he knows it will be subjected to litigation.

I think he was just trying to waste Atiku time and keep some suspense or to also make sure the school brings out what is right and in alignment.

Overall, whatever comes from this exercise cannot be submitted as an evidence. So it is a share waste of time. And as a nation, we just washing our dirty linen in a foreign land.
We have also shown our desperation when we can't be ok with the school,s attestation.

Are we also not expecting Tinubu to sue the school if they turn up with anything that contradict their initial confirmation of him as a bona-fidegraduate?

While we are running up and down in US, SC would affirmed his presidency since they are time bound.

CSU cannot confirm Tinubu's certificate submitted to INEC. Why is this the case if they have said he was their student?

I don't know about you, but in my judgement, i consider things analytically.
1. There are numerous claims that from 1999 to date, Tinubu has presented a bachelors degree CSU certificate of three different disciplines. Did he study the three disciplines at CSU? We want to know.

2. The certificate from CSU says a female Tinubu graduated in 1979.

3. The certificate Tinubu has which he claimed to have collected after graduation was signed by the president of CSU who only served as president from 1993 - 1999

4. Tinubu submitted primary and secondary school certificates in 1999, but have refused to submit this time around. If he used these certificates to enter CSU, why did he not present it to INEC before the election, is it not good enough?

5. This certificate issue has been an embarrassing ordeal for Tinubu, why not just clear the air by asking CSU to release the records and put Atiku and Nigerians to shame, why allow it to linger thereby adding credence to the story?

The school know exactly what is happening and have tried to protect Tinubu, but now the court have ruled that they release the records. They will obey the court. Whatever happens afterwards is going to happen. But let the judiciary know that they can make or break Nigeria by their Judgement.

If Tinubu has a forged certificate, is impersonating someone else, or lied about his age or education history, it can all be uncovered by having access to his school records. Atiku didnt just wake up and start this case, there were inconsistences noticed about Tinubu's certificate, an example being the Authorized signature on it, the name on it and the actual course he studied. The records will also tell us what certificate he used to get in, when these certificates were obtained and his true age.

Quite frankly, saying these things are personal to Tinubu at this time will not hold water. Nigerians have the right to know the person they hired to lead the country. His move to block the release of these documents further smears his already crippled image. Something big is coming and i personally want to see if the Nigeria Judiciary will prefer to sacrifice their honor, professionalism and Justice for a common thief, con-man and drug dealer.

Abeg make una help me reason this matter. I made a post sometime ago about a strong possibility I have a daughter outside my marriage, but my wife doesn't know. It's what I'm dealing with right now.
