CelebritiesRe: Betty Irabor: “I Once Had Miscarriage. It Was A Bloody Experience” by mide14(f): 12:20pm On Nov 27, 2020
Romanoff:
There is nothing that can be done about a miscarriage.

In most cases, a pregnancy ends in miscarriage due to chromosomal defects from either the sperm or the egg. The body recognizes it's not viable and ends it.

Sadly, most women don't like to talk about it because of comments like the one below me.

A loss is a loss, either as miscarriage, still birth or dead child.

Let people heal whichever way they want to.

Talking about it helps, getting support groups that will encourage you psychologically also helps.

There a reason Meghan Merkle talked about her latest miscarriage in July, it is a part of her healing process.
i agree with you on this

Nairaland GeneralSurvival Of The Virus In Nigeria by mide14(op): 3:27pm On Mar 22, 2020
Hello Nigerians,
Considering what's currently going on in the world with the Coronavirus. I'm wandering how Nigeria is going to cope or better still survive.

Currently, the FG has ordered the closures of schools, how long before companies and markets are closed down. We should also consider PHCN/filling stations!!!

The closure of the markets, Okada /public transport and social activities will take a toll on us.

Can Nigerians survive this; China complains of the issues on bn able to survive, how about Italy and other countries shutting down?

It is not just about the economy but our survival!!!
IslamRe: If You Converted To Islam From A Christian Family. Share Your Experience by mide14(f): 11:35am On Dec 15, 2017
(@kngblacq, I'm a guy who comes from a Christian home but don't really like Christianity, going to church is like a punishment for me because everything they do there looks somehow to me, so I have been studying Islam for a while and I love the religion, would love to know more about it. People who have converted to Islam from Christianity should share their experiences, how they dealt with family pressure and backlash. I want to know what I'm getting into before taking that decision. Thanks.)

I rarely post in here I must say, @kngblacq, I was a Muslim from this lifetime birth for more than 32years and I was a very religious follower and worshipper of Islam. I fasted the 30days religiously, I even gave myself voluntary fast, I prayed beyond 5times daily, I woke midnight to pray, I bought spiritual books and did 20rakats(do u know what that means, u stand and bow and put your head to the ground while reciting verses in a certain way 20times middle of the night), I dragged the rosary 1000times and called out to allah and his mohammed severally... I was even tagged as malimat from my family. I went from Nasfat to other branches seeking more knowledge and knowing God. My mother and siblings did not understand my deep faith and extent of worship. All through this I always avoided arguing with Christians and Muslims on which religion is the way. I respected each religion to their own beliefs.

Unforseen events happened around my life and I found Lord Jesus Christ. The truth is I initially met and was introduced to Christianity by some not so deep believers but I accepted Christianity with the notation most people have, God is God its just the method of approach that is different. I went into Christianity with my faith of the belief in God.... But still held on to allah.

Jesus Christ is merciful, Jesus Christ is forgiving, Jesus Christ is the king of Kings and Lord of Lords, He His gentle but when you anger Him I cannot on my own even speak what is anger is.
God the Father saved me, he delivered me and he told me "He His the One true God and he has chosen Jesus Christ as the one and only way". I got this revelation lots of months ago and I must say each and every day of my life as been a testimony.

@kngblacq, u ask of how the christian family will take it as to when a Christian leaves to Islam.

Here is my experience, since I became a Muslim, I took my time before telling my family as I wanted to be sure of what was happening besides I never thought this was gonna happen to me in my life. As I speak to you now, the so called Islamic family of mine that claim they are a religion of peace have sworn they would rather have me dead than see me become a Christian. They have banned me from the house, none of my siblings talk to me and I have been told to my face they are working to kill themselves and not me....

Am I worried? No.
Why? God the Father promised me this:

"For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life."
Am I to count the amount of accidents, house hold injuries and all since this declaration of this?!!!
No. Jesus Christ my saviour and my God is a keeper of His word and He Loves me....

I denounce every nonsense Nairaland and its associate made me to pledge before posting in here either spiritually or physically in Jesus name. Amen

Jesus Christ is my lord and my saviour..... I ask Christians to stand up and believe not in Luke warm spirit but in a hot and powerful spirit in Jesus Christ and the world and their lives will be wonderful.

Thank you Jesus Christ..... All Praise and Adoration belongs to you and only you.

@davidylan, my marriage doesn't have a problem. Just cos i mentioned the one thing that bugs me doesn't give u the authority to just judge my marriage. I am a private person, have bn like dat for so long before i met my husband. What's wrong with me craving that ones in a while. and if u read my post well, despite craving it i still havent done it out of respect for him,
Liked poster mentioned earlier ( u aint to judge pple abeg)

FamilyRe: Marriage: Is It Worth It? by mide14(f): 10:35am On Sep 12, 2011
I am Married. I laughed my heart out reading dayokanu's reasons,
From what have read, i can see most men wanting their freedom and the likes of it. Personally bn a female who loves her privacy i would say i can understand what the men are talking about. I have a room to myself but i cant sleep in it cos they say when u married, u and your husband have to share the same bed, but really i just want a bit of my space ( i don't see how it affects how i love him) but just to please him i spend every night in his room. Anyways, for me sometimes, i feel glad that am married and grateful. But i spend the better part wondering if marriage is truly necessary specially when i face issues with getting him to participate in certain things in d house. Maybe mine is cos am a very independent minded individual and like things done quickly and nicely. My husband on the other hand can spend a whole week deliberating on an issue dat have already thought of and decided with diff options at hand self.
I do love my son, he makes the whole marriage worthy too but seriously dis topic lingers on my mind like daily, I feel marriage can be too much of a struggle at times. Unfortunately dis is an issue that is so delicate you cant even discuss with your spouse cos he/she might think u no longer interested in the Marriage,

RomanceRe: Can A Woman Use And Dump A Man? by mide14(f): 3:04pm On Jul 22, 2011
Well in my opinion, a woman could use and dump a man without the guy even realizing it, if she's so good at it, she'd make the man feel like all the idea is his own (most men feel good about this) but the truth is the woman is the master mind/ brain behind the whole break up and make up,
@OP, YES a woman can use a man and dump him well. grin
