there is no any other fasting in rajab other than the prescribe one by the prophet muhammed(s.a.w).

as-salah is the first act of ibaadah that was made compulsory on every muslim

@azharudin,can u show me hadith were pro(s.w.a)took a day break fast in rajab execpt 4rm mon,thur,13,14&15 of everymonth

the worshiper reads the Tashahud while sitting and says:

Al-tahiyatu lillahi wasalawatu watayibatu assalamu alayka ayuha -n nabiyu wa rahmatu llahi wa barakatuhu. assalamu alayina wa ala ibadi llahi s-salihiyn. ashadu a lla ilaha ila llahu wa ashadu anna muhammada abduhu wa rasuluhu . allahuma solliy ala muhammad wa ala aali muhammod, kama sollayta ala ibrahima wa aali ibrahima. innaka hamidun majid.wa barik ala muhammad wa ala aali muhammad kama barkta ala ibrahima wa aali ibrahima innaka hamidun majid.


after reciting the teshahud, the worshiper asks ALLAH'S protection from four evils,he should says:

allahuma inii ahudhubika min adhaabi jahanama wa min adhaabil qabur wa min fitnatil mahayah wal mamaat wa min fitnatil masiihi ddajaal

then the worshiper will say assalamu alaykum warahmatullah to the right and to the left.

asking of ourselves is very important in our religion cos it creates love,peace and understanding etc.

13>if the prayer consist of two rakaat (two units of prayers) as the morning prayer " fajr",feast prayer "eid", or the friday prayer jumu'a, the worshiper sits after the second prostration,with his right foot erect,sitting on his left foot laid down,putting his right hand on his right thigh,all his fingers close-fisted save the index finger which he used to point out as a sign for his monotheistic belief, and his left hand is put on his left thigh.there is nothing in the way,if the worshiper keeps both the little and ring fingers closed,while rounding his thumb and middle finger in a ring shape, and uses his index finger to point out as a sign for his monotheistic belief. it has been related that the prophet (s.a.w) had practiced both of these ways,thus, it is advisable for the worshiper to perform the first way one and the other on the second time.

this verse is talking about leader in a family likewise relating to our issue

prophet muhammed (s.a.w) said never a group can not be successful, if their leader is a woman. related by bukhar check ibn kathir vol 1 page 491 (arabic text)

it is true that a person should reach his/her greatest potential,that particular leadership in a country, like president, governor should not be her potential dream.

finally, what am trying to say in summary is that: in islam only men are allowed to be a leadership but women can hold an official post like director of a company, proprietress, head teachers, etc

My brother, even though Mukina2 and I have a daughter/father relationship, I am making the following observation to you in the light of Qur'an and Sunnah. Considering that Sunnah is an expression of Qur'an, you and I will not disagree about it, therefore how do you see the view of the relationship of Khadijatu Qubra, and her husband, Anabiullah Muhammad ibn Abdallah (as), in the business of Khadijah? Who was the boss, between the two?

Further, would it not be discriminatory based on gender, which Allah had eradicated by Islam, given both genders equal religious responsibilities, a condition that is even more important than the subject of public affairs and governance, that is uder it? You will agree that it is your salah that will be examined, prior to other things, in the day of judgement. Is the salah of men more valuable than that of women?


Consider, further that Allah command everyone to reach his/her greatest potential, how therefore do you wanna relegate a woman who has a great potential with a lukewarm position? Is that what Islam teaches?

Now consider that Seun, the owner of nairaland is a disbeliever, but he is the boss, what do you think of his overall position over you, a believer? Will you now legislate that Seun who buid his business from the knowledge and every human power and enerny that Allah bestow on him as a means of his livelihood should now leave the helm for a muslim?

My brother, if Seun made his decision, you have to deal with it. This is the reality of life, as long as you are on nairaland, Seun rules. His rule is comparatively absolute over you and I on his nairaland. If he desires, which is obvious to have Mukina2 as the overseer of all the religious, and other sections, the Islamic section is without saying, therefore will have to follow his decision.

Please note that in every condition in Islam, there are some exceptional circumstances that can posibly change what you think the norm is.

For example, pork, alcohol is forbidding in normal setting. However, if it is the only way to preserve life, this commandment will be subjugated to preservation of life. A person can even deny his faith if he fears death, in as long as the earth does not deny it, while the mere denial is from the tongue.

In a condition in Madina a muslim woman lead the protection of a group of children and extremely old and frail people, against the enemies. We will see that Muslim women were even teachers of Hadith for example. They actually taught Qur'an as well to males who had no knowledge of either, while these women were alima., knowledgeable people.

My example is Aisha (ra), the wife of the prophet (AS).

10> He should raise his head from prostration saying: "ALLAHU AKBAR" and lays his left foot flat on the ground and sits upon it , keeping his right foot erected, his hands on his thighs and knees, and says:
ROBI IGFRI LIY WA RIHAMNIY WA'HADINIY WARZUQNIY WA ANFINIY WAJIBRINIY

the worshiper should feel tranquility during this pause.

11> To prostrate again saying ALLAHU AKBAR and repeating during his prostration what he did and said in the first prostration.

12>then the worshiper raises his head saying ALLAHU AKBAR taking a pause similar to the pause between the two prostration; this is called "the pause for rest." it is recommended for the worshiper to do such a pause, but there is no sin if he desists from it. then the worshiper rises up and stands supporting on his knees, or on the ground if he cannot support himself on the knees,read the fatihah and some other verses of the QURA'N and do as just he did in the first RAKAAH (unit of prayer).those who pray behind the imam should not compete with him in the prayer actios as the prophet(s.a.w) said: the imam is to be followed. if he says ALLAHU AKBAR then says the same after him.if he bow in RUKU bow after him. if he says SAMIA-L-LAHU LIMAN HAMDAH then says RABBANA WA LAKA-L-HAMD and if he prostrates, then prostrate after him ( bukhar V :1 P.37)
