As far as am concerned with the 5 episodes of season 8 I have watched so far, GOT season 8 is on point as far as we are talking GOT.

So I would like to know which aspect season 8 failed to live up to your expectations?

Low quality?? Maybe the one you saw is the Aba-made version. The Birdbox I saw is pretty decent from a story and execution standpoint. There are flaws of course, but I loved how they left enough bread crumbs for the audience to build their own personal monsters. The best monsters are the one you create with your own imagination. That's the master stroke IMO, and helped to make the film such a commendable psychological horror.

Tyler Perry will always be a low class producer/director. The film had a nice story to it but Tyler Perry just has no creativity in structuring an interesting plot.

His films are always predictable. The guy has no imagination.

The film has good actors and a lovely story. Tyler Perry just has to spoil it with his Nollywood direction.


Black people deserve better than this. I say this with all honesty: any black person that is a fan of Tyler Perry is a mental slave.

Blame Disney, the mega-corporation, who came up with the current substandard formular of making movies with repetitive themes and storylines, all in the name of diversity, political correctness and profitability Blame today's audience who prefer movies that are largely "tell, not show" style. Today challenging and intellectually-stimulating movies are rated with poor rotten scores, while simple (and silly) movies get the best rotten scores I think WB, Universal and Fox (until Disney acquisition) are still doing a better job of making original and beautiful movies.
