Christianity Etc › Choosing Who To Marry: What Is The Best Ptactise? by mightiersa(op): 1:27pm On Jul 27, 2014 |
I need your response to this question o ye nairalander...
Which of these practices of choosing a life partner ( wife or husband) do you think is better?
1) the traditional way; by which the family of both the male and the female make their in - depth findings of occurrences (both present and past) before saying yes to the union in marriage.
2) the religious beliefs of praying until God reveal who one will marry.
3) taking two or more names to one religion leader or prophet to make a pick of one that is the best to marry.
Pls give reasons to your opinion. Thanks |

Pastor Kun: Kindly show us from scriptures why you think Master Jesus requires tithes from you. I used to have problem with tithe myself. My major convern however was; why would Jesus not teach, talk or just mention tithe if it is of higher importance? I got a great relief to my concern the the my pastor preached on Matthew 23:23 Egbé ni fun nyin, ẹnyin akọwe ati Farisi agabagebe; nitoriti ẹnyin ngbà idamẹwa minti, ati anise, ati kumini, ẹnyin si ti fi ọ̀ran ti o tobiju ninu ofin silẹ laiṣe, idajọ, ãnu, ati igbagbọ́: wọnyi li o tọ́ ti ẹnyin iba ṣe, laisi fi iyoku silẹ laiṣe." Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. I took my time in personal study of this verse of the scripture, and since then, my philosophy of tithes changed |

pitoski: Below is my version of GistYinka's early post:
Kora awards for the year 2012 which is to be held in Ivory Coast city, Abidjan, on Saturday 29 DEC 2012, was postponed to 31 DEC 2012 because the major guest of the day, American multiple Grammy awards winner, Chris Brown missed his flight.
But later, the organizer of the award declared that the event was postponed due to heavy rainfall and other logistical hiccups.
Kora award in Africa can be described as Grammy award of America. the major aim of the award is to recognize African musicians in the sub Saharan continent of African.
This year’s edition is deemed to be outstanding because of the expected presence of American multiple awards Grammy winner, Chris Brown .
Chris Brown, along with his girlfriend, Rihanna, have already arrived in Abidjan, the capital city of Ivory Coast. Rihanna is also another Grammy award winner. Rihanna was seen with some dark glasses.
Chris Brown is expected to perform along with Rihanna. Psquare of Nigeria were also billed to perform at this year’s edition.
I hope my Translation is not that too bad. Any correction(s) is/are welcomed. I really like your approach of criticism (constructive and mature). Notwithstanding however, Yinkagist's version is very interesting, hilarious and captivating. |

What has Obama ever done for Africa or Nigeria,
That was how people like u brainwashed everyone that Obama was the messiah,he was change, and the Yes we can brigade was everywhere.
Get one thing straight
1. The real people who run America will never do anything that will upset the status Quo.
2.Obama is just a stooge just like every other president and he is a front for the people who really control the government. If you think any leader controls a government think again, the real people behind the government of any nation are a few billionaires who will put some one there to protect their interest, just like the 1 percent.
3.Your long Post aka the speech are just word aimed at creating euphoria and sentiment,Nothing changes every thing remains the same
4.Blacks will still be the majority in death row,Blacks will still b e the majority on welfare,Racism will never stop in America or in in the World.
5.America will continue to exploit Africa and no matter what happens who wins they will continue to destabilize the middle east,Russia and China will always protect the underdogs i.e Iran and Syria.,Egypt will go from bad to worse,so will Iraq and Libya,American soldiers will still be KILLED AND MAIMED in Afghanistan and no government elected will have the balls to pull them out . 6.Goods will come from China and Jobs will go to China, and China will be the next superpower whether America LIKES IT OR NOT 6.Nigeria will remain backward and corrupt as long as it remains petty and tribalistic and dependent on oil,and FORIEGN GOVERNMENT LIKE IT THIS WAY AS THEY ARE LESS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS..
7.Boko Haram will fizzle out soon but the damage they have caused will remain for a long time and the growth of Northern Nigeria will be stunted and will take decades to recover..
