oooooh, Happy birthday dear captain HG. many many happy returns. wow agaba at it again with a lovely cake. @babsy: welcome back. good to have you back dear. @ronky: well done. good to have you around.you must be seeing prominent results. |
@bolu: i use glo mobile data plan on my nokia e-72 and it works for real.whenever i choose to, i use it as a modem on my laptop through the nokia nokia ovi or pc suite. i use always micro however, that costs N1000 for 200MB which is valid for 1 month. all you need to do is: send 'menu' as text to 127. it presents you with the menu to choose what you want. the plan you want is for handset/tablet packs, which is 5. Now, send '5' as text to 127 it then brings the various options. the option that i am on is always micro which is 53 so just send 53 as text to 127 (make sure you have up to N1000 on your phone and it will be converted to 200MB instantly) you will then have to change your browsing settings to gloflat, which is the only setting that works with this plan. go to control panel, then settings, then connection, then destinations, then add new access point or you can edit an already existing one connection name should be gloflat access point name: gloflatusername: gloflat password: flat dont touch any other thing. you have to give the gloflat access point the highest priority which means the default access point and you are good to go. please try these and let me know if you have any issues. I always here to help out. cheers. |
to add to my post, like timpaker said, i make skype calls on my nokia smartphone, open as many windows as possible, and like he said, it allows pop ups for sites that require that. |
nokia eseries all the way. it does more than a BB apart from BB messenger but how on earth does one expect BB chat on Nokia anyway. @faithin9ja: you should have asked around before typing your post. Nokia e-71 does all that you stated above except the BB pinging thingy which is only normal not to have on a Nokia. next time, make your enquiries. and for those of you saying browsing with BB is cheaper, i say naaaaaaaaaaa to that. its way cheaper to nokia phones to browse. with nokia phones, you get your get bundle you feel will be ok for you. i hardly ever finish my 200Mb gotten for just N1000 and valid for a month. and guess what, i do a lot of browsing, downloading, playing videos from youtube (i dont do so much of video anyway). and guess what, the network connectivity seems better on Nokia cos when my fellow glo users who use BB complain all the time about network issues, i always have network on my phone and pages are opened at the speed of light. |

Congrats again. @kol:welcome @uche: i can imagine how good you felt.nice story.cant wait to get to where you are, when people will see me and shout hysterically because of the drastic drop in size. |

@issaq:lets know what you weigh, your height and your target weight so that we will know if you really need to loose in the first place. I forgot to ask that in my first post. |
@issaq: pllease dont be discoraged. The most effective and sustainable way to loose weight is by diet and exercise. You have to find out how many calories your body needs to maintain its current weight and then you will determine how many pounds you intend to loose weekly. Once that is determine, you will create a calorie deficit in your by eating less calories than your body requires to keep going.to further boost the loss, you will need to exercise and expend energy which is provided using up some calories. You have to have an idea of the calorie content of foods you eat and make sure you dont go overboard your target. The problem is that sometimes, we underestimate the calories in the foods we eat and over estimate the calories burned during exercise. If you work with what i just proffered, you will see result because i am a living withness. My clothes are becoming so loose by the day. |
Happy vals day all. Hope you all had a good time. |
@nonny:her dvds are sold online at amazon and walmart but if u live nigeria, it might be difficult to get. If you live in Nigeria, you can check a website started by the original owner of this thread, i think she sells workout dvds and leslie sansone is one of them.the website is www.africanweightloss.com,her number is on the website |
@HG: u r welcome. Yeah, that was why i quickly came in. Am glad u took no offence. My dear, we dey do prepare oh.its going to be red hottt that day, lol.no party anyway. Have a great weekend. |
@ronky:lol, i never go for the rrsult oh. I took antimalaria drugs prescribed and ow i feel a lot better.hope to resume workouts soon. @nonny:wow, good to know u and baby are fine. Welcome back.since u had a c-section and you are just 3 weeks post partum, you have to take it easy.i dont advise u to go into 30 day shred just yet.if you had some leslie sansones walk at home workouts or some really easy workouts that are not high impact, i would have advised you start there , or you can just take walks if you live in a walkable environment and gradually get into light running. I would advice that you wait at least 6 weeks postpartum when your dr advises that u can go ahead, and even at that, you have to listen to your body . And you know that even months after child birth whether csection aor natural, a woman can easily injure herself as pregnancy weakens/softens the joints in prepartion for birth and the whole process traumatizes a womans body so be very careful. |
hey people, how we dey? @ronky dearie: i have been down again oh, which is why i havent been logging. Had to go to the hospital again and run a test. Waiting the result, even though i feel better now after taking the drugs that were prescribed. I will gradually start working out again hopefully before the weekend. |
@HG:where are u based? I have always thought you are based in Lag |
@ronky:u must be strong woman.i have a number of billys dvds but when i felt i pulled a muscle after one of the sessions, i just packed it nicely and kept in a safe place.i need to take my time and go thru d tutorials so i dont injure myself again @HG: welcome back our dear captain. HG have u read agabas new signature?i have to call ur attention b4 it goes farther than that oh, lol @babsy:easy does it. Do it gradually. @echala:that is such a sweet, sweet idea. Unfortunately or fortunately, am not in Lagos, its truly going to be fun to workout to the dvd as a group.pls, dont let the idea die, i pray u find interested parties.bt how do u intend to get d dvds since u may not find them here in naija. @uche:great work @agaba:i have reported u to HG oh. |

@uche:well done. Pls like HG said, aim for ur goal, and even when u get there, maintenance is very important so you dont add weight and go back to where u are coming from.so as it is, if u really want to maintain a healthy weight, u can never live without exercising so let you mummy and siblings know that. @HG:eyaa,sorry oh, to do yanga no be joke, lol.
