Hi everyone, the level of activity on the thread is highly encouraging. Lets all keep it up. logs for saturday 22/102011 level2 of JMs 30 DS (didnt even finish as my 20 month old would not allow me cos we were home alone. he would jump along with me and end up hugging my legs, then when i am flat on the floor for the abs, he would just sit on my tummy and give me a good hug, lol.) logs for sunday 23/10/2011 jump rope- 500 cross training -22 minutes |
@jarus:welcome @HG:thanks oh. I will consider the pepper soup aspect oh.concerning the test, they have done the 'every every' and it is all negative, hehehe. My LMP was 14th of this month so that is out of it even without any test. Have a great time working out. I will join u soon. |

@Agaba: thanks. good to see that we are all active on the thread now. @HG: thanks dear. i actually have loads of other spark motivators and whenever i read their success stories/blog, i am usually all fired up. i guess i am particularly concerned about seeing her blo again cos she happened to be the 1st wow success story i read on sparkpeople and i actually checked her out when modath talked so much about about her success and my God I was thrilled. Infact, one of the success stories that struck me again is one krysties4. there are actually loads of them like you said, dont know why i am particular about her, anway. Welldone, i can see you mean business oh. keep it up, you are motivating us. I dont know if i will workout today as i am nursing feverish feelings again, barely 3 weeks after i treated malaria. Have gone to the hospital and ran some test and waiting for the result so incase you dont see my logs, i have decided to take a rest. will workout when i feel up to it. Have a great week guys. |

woohooo, agaba is back on the thread. welcome back. we missed you. @modath dear: thanks jare and well done oh. you know i've always told you you are one of my great motivators. congrats on the loss of the pounds you gained during summer vacation. BTW, have checked for that rikielle lady's blog on sparkpeople lately. @uche:welcome back.do not worry, we are 2gether in this. I took a break for a while because i was down with malaria but am fully back now. @ajanlekoko:good to see u log after a long while. I took 1 week rest from when I had malaria. I just resumed workouts today. Today's exercise log 55 minutes on the cross trainer. Have a good night all |

@maga: there is no amount of prayer we say for you that can help you loose weight without you making conscious efforts. The truth is that it is not easy at all. You just have to go out of your way to make healthy food choices ( eat lots of fruits and vegetables daily and let your food portions be moderate)and to create time for some form of activity. It can be as simple as taking a walk, jogging, skipping (i.e jump rope), using workout dvds, you can even decide to jug on the spot. just try something. I can tell you its not easy but once you start and make it part of you, you will be glad you did. I am a living witness yesterday's logs 19/9/2011 47 minutes on the cross trainer. I havent done proper weight training for a while now. i will try to do today. |
@ajanlekoko:way to go. @maga:welcome to this thread.you have made a good decision but i dont think loosing 30kg in 2 months is feasible. Its better done gradually, making it a lifestyle change. @modath and HG: thanks.its good to know that someone notices when one seems to be derailing. Like you rightly noticed, babs, gen Buhari and a few others have gone quiet for a while. just drop a line and lets know that you are fine. meanwhiles, Ajanlekoko, jillababy our newbies, whats up? hey guys, long time. i have not been able to workout for the past 5 days. i have had to attend to visitors to attend to and some issues here and there. I have however been doing very well with my diet. I I havent craved for or had junk in a very long time except for a sizable chunk of cake i had last friday. I have tried to make sure i dont go over 1700 calories on any given day. Its not as if i count calories but i have an idea on calorie content of a number of foods and so i work by that. I hope to resume workouts today. |
